  • On this trip I was shopping for rare, unique and rare records at a few Antique stores. I hadn't been to a couple of these stores before and never recorded in any of them. There were several records to search through in the first store but a lot were high priced. But you never know what you'll find while hunting for records in flea markets, thrift stores, and antique malls. Crate digging through old records in the wild is fun! Come join me!

Yeah I couldn’t get all the ones I wanted on this trip either but I’ll definitely go back. Thanks for watching Dave!

Hi Nate. Those antique malls are a real chore to dig through. You come out with a couple nice records. I would have taken a chance on that Dreadness record too. Those Ram Jam albums would be a great score if they were in great condition. I’m sure you know their big hit Black Betty. Take care now.

Yeah it's hit or miss sometimes in those big record booths. Most of those were at least good quality though. I have a promo copy of the album with Black Betty but it's the only one I have so I may have to pick up some of their other albums. Thanks for the feedback!

I would have snagged that Girlschool album. That place had a lot of cool rock and metal records.

Antique mall records...when cubic yard dumpster fees hit a certain metric tipping point.

Another interesting video Nate but you MUST stop leaving behind many rare and costly records. You are making metal heads like me MAD with what you don't pick up. I have come to realise that the good folks of Alabama do not like my type of music. Here in Vancouver you would never find the following in the wild.
    Kickaxe
    Motley Crue
    Accept
    Raven
    Rainbow
    Rush
Most were in the $5 bin and worth at least 4x that amount.
    The worst omissions were:
George Clinton - Computer Games (very scarce)
    Parliament
P.P. Arnold - depending on condition, Kafunta goes for big bucks
And from the metal perspective ....ROXANNE! - a $40-50 record for 80's metal collectors all day long.
Anyway, I'll continue to watch though sometimes I find it painful!

lol, yeah there were a lot of records I liked too. Some were in worse condition than the video showed and a few a already had! But some of the bands you listed I wasn’t familiar with so I’ll have to check them out! Thanks for watching and pointing some of those records out!
