Dang, I love the Hollies!! And I also have a soft spot for Jan & Dean. When my brother and I were kids, Dad would blare Jan & Dean on the drive to school. We were so embarrassed then but I’d do anything to sit and listen to music with Dad again. Did you end up finding anything at this place?

Nate, you should have at least checked the condition of Ian Matthews "If you saw thro' my eyes" 1971 on Vertigo swirl and Steamhammer "Reflection" at the first thrift shop. The prices at the second store seemed ridiculously high but you should have checked The Who "Sell Out!"

Another interesting video Nate but you MUST stop leaving behind many rare and costly records. You are making metal heads like me MAD with what you don't pick up. I have come to realise that the good folks of Alabama do not like my type of music. Here in Vancouver you would never find the following in the wild. Kickaxe Motley Crue Accept Raven Rainbow Rush Most were in the $5 bin and worth at least 4x that amount. The worst omissions were: George Clinton - Computer Games (very scarce) Parliament P.P. Arnold - depending on condition, Kafunta goes for big bucks And from the metal perspective ....ROXANNE! - a $40-50 record for 80's metal collectors all day long. Anyway, I'll continue to watch though sometimes I find it painful!

Hi Nate. Those antique malls are a real chore to dig through. You come out with a couple nice records. I would have taken a chance on that Dreadness record too. I read somewhere that Jimmy Page was in The Bachelors. That Detectives is a good one too. I believe they are the only Band other than Led Zeppelin to be signed on the Swan Song label. Milt Herbie Dave! Gap and Chuck have a great album called The Jazz Brothers on Riverside. It’s a hard bop banger. They were something else back then. Gap is a tremendous musician as well. Thanks for sharing your dig.

In addition to your finds I would have taken, depending on price- or at least checked condition: From record store: 1) Buzzy - Buzzy Linhart. Underappreciated psych rock early 70's with fuzz guitar 2) Close Lobsters - Headache Rhetoric. Rare late 80's UK indie on collectible Fire label From Store 2 - none From Store 3 . Nice to find David Sanborn "Hideaway" in light of recent development 1) Polly Bergen -depending on who the sidemen were
