Rule was not to get out of the boat. Which technically means you can't touch the ground. Just like the 'knock over all the ducks without leaving the mat' task, and even though they still touched the mat, they were DQd when a single foot hit the ground.
@@mini696 no, you could definitely use your hands or feet to propel yourself and not be considered "out of the boat". it's not a rollercoaster where you must keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times
@@mini696 Touching the ground wasn't against the rules. Think of it as if they were on an actual lake, where they could paddle by any means but couldn't get out and swim.
@@bugbear2357 Yes but if, during the task, you're thinking "I am being a person being in a boat" you could easily automatically go with '....and so I will use the paddles'
The train station, red light green light, task is one of my favorite tasks of the entire show. That and the one they are locked in a squash court and have to figure out how to score points.
Thanks for showing us who won the pedometer task. It is often said in the comments that you don't show us who won so appreciate you listening and doing this.
Johnny on the boat is one of my favorite moments of the entire show. I don't know why Season 10 get so much criticism. It's an absolute disaster, and that's why it's so amazing!
I mean, it definitely feels somewhat off compared to the other series, especially the studio segments, but we have to remember that it was the first series filmed after Covid, with much of the filming taking place during the early days when restrictions were severe and confusing. I don't think having to have crew and cast physically seperated really helps, either. Considering all that, they did quite well in my opinion; could have been a lot worse.
I totally agree I loved that season, the studio stuff for me was even better cus it felt more intimate without the audience, I don’t get the criticism either
Part of it is no live studio audience, the fact there were so many oddball contestants, and for me personally Catherine Parkinson was just such a rubbish contestant. She had a few moments but was otherwise just uninteresting and unfunny as a contestant. That being said I do like her other work as an actress, I just don't think this was the kind of show that suited her best.
Daisy is comfortably the worst contestant of all time IMO, but I think the biggest issue with the series is the tasks, a lot of them were excessively complicated and felt like Greg was overcorrecting for not being strict enough on the rules in previous series, plus it also features one of the most awkward moments in the show when Katherine gets upset that Greg lambasted her masks. But it's often said that even the worst series of Taskmaster are better than most TV, and it's true. (Also I think series 8 is the worst one)
It's a good thing Daisy wasn't as heavily pregnant during the filming of the boat and exercise ball task as she was during the stage shows! 😮 (Edited to correct typo.)
For the bike and ducks task, it didn't state anything about pushing the bike over and taking it away to the table. It should be easy fend off Alex ; he's weak.
Pull Alex to the ground. Turn bike over and jam it into the ground, trapping Alex underneath. It's as if they just ignore all the obvious solutions. 🤦♀️
The bridge hiding task was the first bit of Taskmaster I ever saw. Kept seeing the clip recommended to me and decided to finally watch it and so glad I did. The one task was enough to get me watching the whole show 😂
Series 15 will have our 100th panelist, after returning contestants are included. It is (3 NYT + 14 seasons) 5 players = 85 panelist. Add Alex & Josh for team tasks that were 3 on 3. Add in two that were sick. Makes 89 panelists. Add on 2 Grand Championships. Makes 99. Series 15 makes 100.

Get to the bridge without being spotted is my all time favorite task. I wished they’d shown Lou climbing into the trash can cover.
Same! It seems like it would be so much fun. Reminds me of a game we used to play as kids in the woods at night.
season 8 episode 1
I still have no idea why Johnny was so adamant on using the oars for half the boat task. a brilliant but baffling human being

The task on the train tracks looks like so much fun! Can totally understand why Sian wanted to go on even though she already lost.
No mention of how brilliant Joe Thomas was? I couldn't believe how he disappeared so easily!
The train station, red light green light, task is one of my favorite tasks of the entire show. That and the one they are locked in a squash court and have to figure out how to score points.
The squash court is such a classic, and the NZ take on it was great too

Title screen: Physically Arduous Tasks
First clip: Katherine Parkinson groaning as she gently enters an inflatable raft
The Alex on the bridge task is what got me hooked on this show.
Johnny Vegas trying to move on that boat is a brilliant piece of physical comedy.
Still got nervous watching Joe hiding from Alex

People tend to view anything hampered by Covid in a negative light whether it deserves it or not unfortunately.

the confusion of "head boy" still makes me laugh lol
The hide and seek game at 8:45 was the first time I saw the TM. I automatically fell in love with the show! :D

I very much appreciate Taskmaster uploading these videos to YT so us Americans can have the opportunity to love them too.

It's a shame this show hasn't caught on in the US, it feels like every country could host this format if they really wanted.
When I was a kid, I desperately wanted to essentially be Joe in the train yard task.
Everyone has said it, but that task was simply the best.
Arduous is one of my favorite words!
Chris panting that Alex is a psychopath is hilarious 😂😂
They really should have given poor Alex an electric bike 😂
It's a good thing Daisy wasn't as heavily pregnant during the filming of the boat and exercise ball task as she was during the stage shows! 😮
(Edited to correct typo.)
For the basket task, the rules didnt say you cant hold the basket (either holding the bike by extension or just ripping it off and holding it)
I love getting Taskmaster notifications!
My morning laugh brought to me by Johnny
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m younger than most of the contestants, but I think I would so just as badly on the arduous tasks. Actually I think I’d give up on the raft one tbh
Still not sure how Katherine won that final task, she was moving the slowest out of everyone, she was on a mild jog 🤣
The shakes
Yeah I always found that strange given Josh looked like he was moving a lot faster but it looks like the pedometer on her head wasn't reset
The pedometer on Josh head wasn't reset either
I think she was the only one moving her head!
Who does think that the "Put egg into frying pan" task from S10E1 was the toughest task ever, hands up
The thumbnail made bob mortimer look like a member of the SA
Damn can’t unsee that now lol😅
I was always worried about Daisy’s water breaking.
If anyone was wondering, The pop up hide and seek task at the railway yard was Series 8 Episode 1.
so on that boat task, "you cannot get out of the boat" but must the boat stay under you?
Johnny is my spirit animal 😂❤
Alex looking like a Peaky Blinder.
my 30s coming closer appreciates this video
My 40s approaching their midpoint appreciates it even more... Doesn't help I also basically have Johnny's build :P

Same energy as “why not just stab the other contestants to win?”
Judi Love did that but she got disqualified anyway for carrying multiple ducks at once
Pull Alex to the ground.

I think someone did, or they just broke the bike or something. and then got disqualified for carrying multiple ducks at once
@@iliketrains3495 I think it was Bridget :)
12:25 why does Bob has 0 on his head pedometer, where Katherine has 911? And Noel I think is also 907 or something.
They cheated … so production team restarted their device’s
I bet alex reset them all before the task started because you're gonna get some steps just putting them on anyways
I never get, why they all go for the biggest ducks. If they started with the smallest duck, they could fit so many more ducks in the basket.
Maybe hope to slow Alex down with weight? But the ducks aren’t heavy so doesn’t make much sense.
what is it about Morgana? it's the same with Lou Sanders. just enigmatic
There is something about skipping the resolutions that is unsatisfying.

The task didn't say they couldn't touch the ground. The point was to make it challenging for them.
There is no "technically" on taskmaster. All the information is on the task
@@genghiscan2918 We see you there Alex, trying to hide behind a fake name.
If you can be sitting in a boat and dangling your arm(s) or leg(s) over the side then you can have your feet outside the dinghy in this task.
Do more exercise, eat less food, look after your bodies folks.
I nodded in agreement, then realized I was sitting here and eating while watching other people exercise.
eat less -food- processed carbohydrates
Eat better, not less. That feels more constructive, I feel?
