Logan, your content, driving skills and camera work just get better and better. You have the best crawling channel by far on RUclips, in my opinion. Brilliant, keep em coming John. Oh I have the bell turned on so I never miss your vids. John
Logon I would like to say THANKYOU to you sir. For all the time and effort you put in making these Great videos for us. Take care Buddy KEEP THE RUBBER SIDE DOWN 🕊️🇺🇲✌🏼🤙🏼
Thank you sir! Excellent content indeed! Winter here in Maine, time make my Capra perform beyond it's already awesome crawling ability. FPV camera really seems to be an interesting venue but the pure mechanical end of things is what I enjoy the most, as a retired mech design engineer. Your detailed explanations of tire placement have actually made me a more competent crawler. Thanks.
-----Man alive fella, can't believe it. All these folks have seen the reviews and watched the 📹 videos on the Axial Capra. It's exhausting to continually watch the venerable Capra. But for the most part they are all correct and acc urate. I myself have 4 Axial Capra's (is it Axial Capri perhaps?) And 1 is even Red. Who was the genius in Axial for engineering the "RED Framed Capra's". MY my my.
Great driving and your timing and patience is amazing. I find I rush the car through obstacles. Gotta remind myself to let the car do what it’s designed to do, crawl. Great video bro.
Awesome videos as always. You provide the best running videos of anyone else on RUclips! Thanks for the great content! Would love to run out in sand hallow some time.
Another great video Logan. You’re the reason I got into RC crawling. The RUclips algorithm showed me your channel and now since June I’ve bought a stock Scx24 then completely modified it, built an Scx10ii from the raw kit, then completely revamped it with a bunch of RPRC setup and a Creeper cab, and am now starting my third build, started my own local RC crawler page, and started my own RUclips channel focusing on my outings and rig work. I never knew it was a thing before your video and now it’s all I think about lol😂
Man I'm so thankful I found this so thankful it was put in front of me Nunes centipede and driving Ikea's taught me so much and just about to pressure-treated put on each tire to help perform I'm very thankful I think we should all be thankful for our brothers and sisters God bless you my brother rubber side down
After watching some of your other vids, I swapped my Capra axles with the gatekeeper kit axles when I got it, and I concur with your observations and I enjoy my Capra way more now. The only problem is that even with the steering link behind the axle, I do smash the servo horn a lot (I made a SOA mount). I totally get why you made your part, it would clean up the front end. Good vid as always, sick lines!
Some great lines, that AR45 conversion is a capable rig! Btw, I always stay until after the credits when I go see a movie, hoping for some kind of bonus footage! 😉
Impressive! You had me thinking halfway through that ultimate crack that you’d have to give it a second go, but you stuck with it and somehow pulled it off. Color me impressed, thanks for the great video! 👍✌️
Just ordered your kit. I had the AR45 straight axle kit collecting dust so it's time to put them to use. Thanks for coming up with the idea and looking forward to getting started on it.
Hey Logan. I’ve been a fan for a long time. Always wanted a Capra because of your videos but never wanted to spend that money on an rc. So the other day I found a Capra 1.9 rtr on sale for $299.99 shipped. So I bought it! Do you have a video of like “5 essential Capra mods” or anything like that? Also maybe go over what battery you recommend? On a budget? Springs or any shock mods? Thanks love your vids
We've talked in the Facebook group, I must say I absolutely love this product, I have the portals on mine, there's just a little bit of bumpsteer but other wise performs great. Not I just have to get your cut n shuts
The main reason that you get bump steer is because the motion of the drag link doesn't match the motion of the axle. I would make the drag link as long as possible.
Ok so you may talk up the capra (which i own, love, and agree with you) BUT you are also an excellent driver. Dude, the lines you take are incredible. Yes your builds help to get you even crazier lines, but it is mostly you. I mean come on, you took 4 different lines that i would have crashed on multiple times and im a pretty good driver. Kudos my rc friend
Should know of a Futaba servo that would work for the dig unit. Most of the ones I have fried have to small of output shaft to use the servo arm in the kit.
Killer rig man! I picked up a Capra someone only got for the axels and am working on the straight axel conversion now. I picked up a real cheap servo on axel mount and plan to switch to your kit when it breaks.
Thanks for making kick ass vids! Love Utah terrain! Jealous! I live in BC Canada. We have great terrain too, but something about desert and warmth I think makes for a great crawl!
Have you seen the Vitavon Carbon Fiber Body Panels for the Capra?? Badass video as always. Really wish i had some of this terrain closer to me lol. Keep up the great content!
Nice build ✨✌🏼Im looking for some more sturdy axle housings for my scx-pro, I just broke my front diff housing, maybe these VP axles are the way to go? Im not a big fan of aluminium housings because I feel that they get hooked up on the rocks, but I maybe need to reconsider? What’s your thoughts? //Sam
I wouldn't be surprised if someone else has already asked about, or suggested, a collaboration with LiteBrite since you dabble in full-size crawling and they live out that way. I bet they'd probably be interested in the smaller scale side of things too. BTW this was some amazing driving!
Hey Logan, I've got a quick question for you. Using your servo adapter could I go with a set of F10 straight axles using the steering link, drag link, and panhard link from a Phoenix kit?
First of all.. great video. I love your RC content and Shooter content. I have 2 questions that I hope you can help with. First.. what skid are you running and 2nd are those D44 axles from vanquish. Thanks in advance. Keep up the great content
I definitely like your channel…cause u have great content! Also I like to watch cause tho I crawl.. and have for a long time. But I have want different terrain.. I’d love to come out to a place like that.. where th sticks have grip. Vs. the rocks we have here n the mtns of nc.. the dirt will pack n the tires. And u gotta (not n necessarily) run a little rougher tire. Hyrax do great n some places but.. I mostly run pro x tires..so far they have been the best I’ve found.. but like I said comp😊 different terrain! Keep up the great content!!
I'm a trucker, and constantly asking for loads going through Utah just to run my crawler at the rest areas 😂 My company is being a pain in the ass lately, stuck on sending me to stupid Pennsylvania & New Jersey 😒
Your content ROCKS! (literally and figuratively). I just this minute had an idea. Since this IS your day job, obviously you want to make more money. So... I suggest creating a series of videos teaching the finer points of crawling, and using different vehicles at different locations.... there where you are now, at Sand Hollow, etc, etc. And put them on Udemy as an "RC Rock Crawling Course." Charge like $50 or so (or more, or less, thats up to you)... and I bet you'll make some decent money off of that. I'd buy in!!
I’ve always tried to keep all my content free and open. Many people say they learn a lot but honestly I’m not trying to teach I just say whatever I’m thinking while driving
@@westdesertwheeler Well you're a great teacher whether you're trying to teach or not. I have learned a TON from your videos. I appreciate that you like to keep it free... but I thought I'd throw out an idea in case it was something that appealed to you. Great job in any case!
I watch a majority of your videos and enjoy every single one of them. Unfortunately I don’t ever like videos or comment on them…. Just something I’ve never really done.. i need to get in the habit of smashing that like button lol😂
What's. The Common Issue With why The dig unit servos Failing? I have 2 capras ( deleted both dig units) And Thinking about Converting 1 Over To the 3 link. Do u ship to Canada? Keep. Up. The. Awesome. Vids
Hi Logan, I am really frustrated. I would like to buy a WDW Axial Capra Chassis Mounted Servo Kit in your WDW shop but I cannot because your system is unable to handle my address and therefor is no shipping solution available!! And where can I contact you without the social media stuff? I am not a member of Instagram and I do not will be one in the future. A normal Email address is that I am looking for. Greatly appreciated, thanks for watching and commenting John!
Would love to see a comparison between a Capra with Capra axles vs Capra with straight axle

You running any overdrive on this truck?
That first line was super technical haha. Good driving dude.
Can’t beat a WDW Capra vid. Where can I find those smaller WDW stickers? Looks like the only ones on your website in that style were larger
