Yes, other factors can contribute to calcification in arteries, including vitamin D deficiency and aging. Vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 are often taken together because they work best when combined. Vitamin D3 helps your body absorb calcium from food, while vitamin K2 helps transport it to your bones and teeth instead of soft tissues like your arteries. This can help promote bone health, lower your risk of osteoporosis, and keep your heart healthy. Research suggests that taking both vitamins together is more effective than taking either alone to prevent bone loss and improve bone mineral density.-LGD Team

Hi there, if you are having a reaction, we would recommend to stop taking it and then slowly reintroduce it back to your routine to make sure the Vitamin D itself is what is giving you that reaction as it could be anything within your routine so its good to isolate it to be sure. If so, you may be sensitive to it in a supplement form and may benefit from eating Vitamin D rich foods and of course spending more time in the sun! :) - LGD Team

What is D2 and D3??
Hi Lola, Prescriptions are D2 which is synthetic, not natural. You want a D3 supplement which prescriptions do not use. You also want to make sure it's formulated with K2 and healthy fats to allow proper absorption. If I have K1 and K2 in mine (designs for health brand), am I good to finish the bottle until I get your brand?
👍
And what kind of K2? There are different sources.
K2 is for heart health, blood vessel health, and the proper absorption of calcium into your bones so it does not end up in your arteries. Primary Vit K we need in our system is K2, especially when taking vitamin D! Check out this article: drlivingood.com/vitamin-k2-benefits-heart/

Hello. You can copy the url link and paste. Thanks for sharing! -LGD Team
If you are getting k2 from your diet do you need to supplement? Also if you supplement does it need to be taken at the same time.
Food is a great source. I take them together in my d complex
One question to you : can I still take k2 if I am on blood thinner (eliquis 2*5 mg /day) and also medicine against high blood pressure ?
K1 is for blood clotting. K2 is for heart health, blood vessel health, and the proper absorption of calcium into your bones so it does not end up in your arteries. @@DrLivingood is there a risk that k2 will counteract my blood thinner (eliquis) ? I could not find the answer.
I find this information on Google :
High doses of K2 can reduce the effectiveness of the blood-thinning drug and interfere with blood clotting. For this reason, you should always consult a doctor before starting to take a supplement with this vitamin, especially if you are taking blood-thinning medications.

Thats why I ask you too. Do you agree with the text above ?

How much milligrams or micrograms of k2 - K7 with vitamin D3 is required for optimal health
The latest research suggests taking 50 mcg K2 for every 1000 IU of D3. -LGD Team

I took 10 units and Im recovering alcholic I wasnt alcholic long but my brain is suffering
Try thiamine. Very important for brain recovery from alcoholism. You need the right form. Allithiamine and lipathiamine if fairly high doses. Look up “wet brain”. Wernekie’s encephalopathy
@@shaunmirjavadi2529 thank you. About 4 months ago I stopped drinking after 3 weeks of drinking every night. A night of no sleep n I lost it went to 3 er s then my Dr. Couldnt remember my symptoms. Couldnt remember anything really it was scary af. Omg ty, hope this is not what i had. We were living in mold. Memory still bad tho

@@Kiwibirdm8 no prob it can help with the mold as well. I’m sure the alcohol prob made it worse but the mold may be the main culprit. But the brain needs a lot of thiamine.
Problem is I get diarrhea when I take magnesium

WHAT KIND OF MAGNESIOUM?
Citrate or malate are good choices
So many pills 💊
If I take a statin, should I still take vitamin D3 and K2 if the statin is inhibiting the K2? How much does statin inhibit K2? Should take 2 times or 3 times the amount of K2, - or does it get completely 100% inhibited by a statin? Also, if I'm taking an antiplatelet blood thinner, is it good to take higher dose K2?
K1 is for blood thinning. A solid d plus k2 complex will be enough 👍
@@DrLivingood Should I Not take D3 and K2 because my statin will keep the K2 from working to pull the calcium out of my blood / arteries?
I get vitamin D 3,and Vitamin and calcium my instruction says take 1 twice.

@@DrLivingood i see. well the one i currently i have at home is the one made by Nature made brand the yellow bottle with red writing on it. and it is the small ones. is there a way to tell on the label? anyway. you are really awesome. i learned so much just from watching hours of yoru stuff . lat time i went to the doctor my triglecerides, cholestoral, and everything else was actaully in the good range. my blood sugar was 98 so ok. but for some reason my blood pressure after getting all these other number in check was 137/86 but 8 monhts later early this may it showed 150/89 however i think the lady only waited 2.5 minutes to take it. i also had a creepy narc neighbor effect me for a few months inbetween and got away from it but i think there may have been some residual. i can defintely do lifestly though. i play outdoor volleyball for hours on end on the wekend and indoor during the sumer once a week. i have been running 10 minute miles roughly from 4-8, sometiems up to 10 miles 3-5 times per week. and also walk a lot. for a few years now. i conciously avoid really reall bad foods other than specical occasions. my brother was impressed that i would't even eat a donut when i viisted him when we go tthe ikds donuts one morning. so i think my bp, is mainly more to do with stressful stuff. i just need to consistently destress. at leas ti think that is likely the only thing i have to work on really.
as for my tyical diet i have mainly had a bowl of real blueberries with cheerios and 1 percent milk for breakfast, i also eat a hard boiled egg with no addtives. jsut as it is. for lunch i often eat a sandwhich of 100% whole wheat bread with cheddar and turkey (but i get th estuff from the counter not the processed stuff for th meat. and usually a banana or an apple. for dinner i often eat the costco kale salad mix and combine it with a rotisserie chicken or mayb ethe drumsticks form same chikent hey do.
i also have (for a few years now taken every day
2 tables 2x a day of Nitric oxidde, omega 3 , d3, C, e, garlic, elderberry, magnesium, zinc, octivite, Lutein, just bought and started taking tumeric, but only 2 days so far, and i think there a few other vitmins i have but that is all i think of off hand whie at the office oh, i also buy fruit salads at my local supermarket often.
i have no issue eating healthy and doing the exxcercise. iprobably need to go to sleep earlier though . as for my wight i am 6'1 and weigh around 205ish give or tkae 4 lb thorugh out the year htis past 2 years. but averaign 205. a few years ago i was 250. although the best i ever got to inthe absolute best shape was 187. i am very large framed. but i think my waist is 34-35 inches so i am slightly less than that ratio.
my main thing is i am not into doing a lot of cooking and try to save time. i found out you said cheerios isn't as good as it can be. is there some sort of cereal brand that is similar but iwthout al the bad stuff i can mix with myblue berries, or is there some sort of foods i can eat where i don't have to cook but still get what i need without having to do a lot of work or time into it? i honestly don't even mind eating the same exact thing every day fo rht emost part. i working dilligently on this and very focusd. and when i og out to eat. i order almost always salmon or some sort of spinach salad, asian salad or cobb and usually get griled chicken on it. i don't ever order dessert. i only almost exclusively drink water. not gatorae, no energ drinks etc..
oh one other thing. i had seen a 2 hour video months ago about proper blood pressure taking apparently you are suposed to wait at lesat 5 minutes maybe even 10 minutes witting still no talking, being relaze to get then umber at the doctor office. many of them don't even follow these guidelines. lol
@@Johnadams20760 it doesn't take very long to cook oatmeal. You can buy organic "quick oats" that cook in only a minute. If you need it to be instant, it's possible to buy "instant" oatmeal in single serve packets with no sugar added to it. I haven't seen the packets in organic, but I haven't looked for it because I buy organic minute oats by the pound.
I'm confused your bottle subscription has vitamin D?

YOU MEAN THAT THE VITAMIN D FROM THE SUN IS USELESS?
Jose Hernandez: Vitamin D3, is from the sun, is made by God, can't get any better than that. of course, I'm not a doctor.
Better question is what/which natural foods provide all these elements?
And I lose weight to easy
