For me, she has the best cutscene in a character story quest. It is so beautiful and I never felt this amazement among the other characters' cutscenes. It leaved a mark in my mind and heart that it is not easy to forget or rather I will never forget for the rest of my life.

thing is, many don't seem to understand the sheer meaning and expression behind aya's actions in the story. They did so well in capturing the affection aya feels towards aether/lumine, they made you feels as if you just found a wonderful friend. The dance part was pure euphoria that gives you the urge to jump through your screen and hug this beautiful little ice queen, it works so well. This is part of the definition why waifu over meta exists, no damage number can overcome the feelings that a good characters personality can give you, It's literal art!
Pretty sure the abyss twin would be okay if the traveler twin got distracted by something else, yes it'd be even better if they learned the truth about Teyvat and besides most (excluding characters like Ganyu, Yanfei, Xiao, and the Archons, etc) ships Aether and Lumine have will die from old age

Damn. This was a really good choice of music, Especially that " The person who is important to you, Is right beside you" It hits hard knowing how ayaka feels towards the traveler. But the traveler is too busy finding his/her long lost sibling.
Well it’s a adventure I bet in the end of the game it’s will flash back to every scene of the character interacting in each region experiencing the problems it has, the culture it has and most of all the friends you made a long the way
I hope once the traveller finds their sibling we can pick whether we want to stay with Ayaka or not, we can choose different love interests for the traveller, my ayalumi heart would be so happy

I've played Genshin from the release and I've gotta say. A LOT of characters have made me want to pull for them BADLY fr4om gameplay and design alone ( AHEM Hu Tao Supremacy ). Ayaka was never on my radar. Her design was cool and all but for some reason I never was interested. I decided to skip her for Baal to keep my Archon streak going... NOW LET ME JUST SAY.. THAT STORY QUEST.. THAT GODDAMN STORY QUEST?! That made my heart flutter with how absolutely AMAZING her backstory is. Then I come to RUclips to all of these fan animations and such and they literally pull at my heartstrings to where I honestly regret not pulling for her. I'm late but I seriously love her and want her from her personality and backstory. I also want an anime. Now. Dassit. :)

I’ve been playing genshin since June of 2021 right before inazuma came out. I’m now on Fontaine and the fact that this video was made 2 years ago only makes it seem so much more nostalgic. I’m graduating soon, and the feeling of “saying goodbye” is the same. I cried while watching his, it was so beautiful.
*Alternate interpretation of Ayaka's quest from Chinese forums* "It is obvious that Ayaka has some kind of crush on Traveler, but then there's more to it. The key scene is the Prayer Plaques, Ayaka wishes for a happy and peaceful Inazuma, while Traveler is apparently only concerned with reuniting with his/her sibling. TO ME ayaka's quest was the best that was the most wholesome thing ever and i honestly enjoyed how it mostly focused on her i honestly wanted to cry shit was too wholesome
I enjoyed this questline, it was nice to have a moment where there was just peace and quiet for the most part. The end was made infinitely better by the fact that the primos I got from this let me get the wish that earned me the Mistsplitter.
It's really well written telling us all about what kind of person Ayaka is what she struggles with what kind of person she wants to become ,she doesn't want to end up like her mother that's why she decided to go the festival , when she dances it's her letting go of her past self but it can be also seen as a way to show appreciation to the traveler for helping her come to terms with her problems.. Ah it’s so sad to see Ayaka being depicted as a “Yandere” because she’s not!! The traveler is literally just her first friend and she cares deeply for them, I just wish that Aether and Ayaka shippers would stop changing her whole personality, this is why I prefer Ayaka and Lumine, the fanart and head canons are just way more wholesome!!

It’s annoying, nonetheless, to see so much art of her obsessing over Aether. It’s worse because they don’t treat Lumine the same way and something about that is off putting to me.

I’ve been playing genshin since June of 2021 right before inazuma came out. I’m now on Fontaine and the fact that this video was made 2 years ago only makes it seem so much more nostalgic. I’m graduating soon, and the feeling of “saying goodbye” is the same. I cried while watching his, it was so beautiful.

"It is obvious that Ayaka has some kind of crush on Traveler, but then there's more to it. The key scene is the Prayer Plaques, Ayaka wishes for a happy and peaceful Inazuma, while Traveler is apparently only concerned with reuniting with his/her sibling. That is the point when it is shown to us(although still subtle) that Ayaka and Traveler are not meant to be together, and Ayaka realized it. After that, it's the scene where Ayaka gives us that farewell dance. "Please keep your eyes on me" because she knows one day, Traveler will leave her and Inazuma and continue in his/her own path and wish for the Traveler to remember her. Then she literally said, "I can see myself the rest of the way back." That scene was for their final farewell, and then we see they continued in their own paths.
The whole story was executed as if Ayaka and Traveler are having a date, but then once you get those hidden messages, you realize it's just another one of those depressing Inazuma stories."

It's really well written telling us all about what kind of person Ayaka is what she struggles with what kind of person she wants to become ,she doesn't want to end up like her mother that's why she decided to go the festival , when she dances it's her letting go of her past self but it can be also seen as a way to show appreciation to the traveler for helping her come to terms with her problems..
