first clip you deal more dmg with 60 spirit , the spirit scaling of mirage 3 is really high and the scarabs also deal same dmg independent of enemy resistances so scaling them with flat spirit is just better
Heads up for the Mirage Build, Surge only activates if you use the 3rd, not from Max Stack Activation. However with QSR and Surge you get more damage from Max stacks - 1 then you do from full Max stacks. I actually use that in my TP Healer Build: 94395 EDIT: The Spirit part of Surge is always applied. I conflated it with my QSR reload testing results where with QSR the damage is not applied unless you activate the ability, my mistake. You do still get more damage by having both and activating at 4/8 stacks instead of 8/12 if you are not going crazy into spirit for your build.

Pretty sure that the bonus spirit power is ALWAYS activated on that ability, with the conditional effects just being the fire rate and movement speed.
