Sevens speed being boosted allows u to easily jump over Infernus ult as I have showed in my 133k dmg Seven build (also showed killing players BEHIND walls) hes an auto counter to flying heroes, his stun is unmissable, unlike Infernus, double eco shard Seven with Knockdown basically prevents u from playing for 10 seconds and negates anti-stun items cuz u can space those 3 stuns out. He starts with Tesla bullets. YA ITS ALOT. EASILY S TIER.
As a player from both games, the worst deadlock patch is like twice as good as overwatch’s best. Kinda crazy how good the balance team is and how proactive they are, even if balance “isnt the the focus” atm.
@kc-lz8gs depends on your metric, i don't think doing it the way you describe is productive. you're just describing a list from best to worst and putting x of those in s and y of those in a, and so forth.. i wouldn't call that a tierlist.
seven ball build is one of the most toxic things I've seen in this game. Gigantic radius, hits through walls, one-shots camps, insta-clears waves. Just feels so hard to play around.
It's so funny how the pros were saying losing to seven is a skill issue and now they are losing to seven themselves. the people that play this game should stop pretending to know everything. it's really obnoxious
HMC is mainly used as a movement tech, if you jump um, air dash and HMC you will gain insane speed and momentum, which can be combined with a lot of other movement tech. So the movement tech people like me really love that they keep the movement tech in game even if not intended ;)
Just wanted to say the scrim review video is amazing, and I like that content, it’s long and people watch a lot of it, the game needs analysis and you can be the start as the only guy who does it. It’s a win win for both people
Vindicta is probably the hardest hero to balance in the game right now due to her range. If she has to have low health cause of her range, but her damage is extremely sensitive. Too high and she’s a menace, too low and she’s basically useless. The sweet spot varies from match to match making her hard to balance That’s just me uninformed opinion as an Abrams main, please feel free to correct me if
Knockdown makes it to where you can't play the game. If you're doing good and couple people buy Knockdown it basically neutralizes you entirely. I think the cast range on Knockdown needs to be reduced.
Fleetfoot is super underrated for shiv's melee and weapon builds. Once you're enraged and have one point in your ult, you get a massive +2 m/s movespeed bonus, and you can keep that while shooting because of Fleetfoot's passive. The fleetfoot active letting you cancel heavy punches is the chef's kiss.

Thank you for not under rating mcginnis. People over on the subreddit consistently say mcginnis is trash yet her wall is unbelievably oppressive in lane and the very short cool down on her ult means you can almost never push hard against her. Very frustrating champ in the right hands
People just suck with her. She split pushes better than any other character rn, and coordinated walls to lock out people from fights is deadly af, not even just in lane

I'm having a lot of success in low-mid MMR with Vindicta. I build her for max gun with Glass Cannon and Leech, and cooldown reduction on 2. She does absurd damage and you have to play range and corners, basically like Overwatch. She feels good to someone coming from hero shooters. She's also great in lane.
only way i ever find success on vindicta this patch is to save my flight for escape/securing a team fight win (diving after a kill) and getting alchemical fire very early on to clear waves and deny pushes. the flight speed reduction has felt miserable and I honestly want them to rework her ult upgrades entirely
I think her flying nerf was necessary, as having perma air time was just a very unintertactive playstyle. Also i play more around roofs now since I no longer can rely on flying all the time. What really baffles me is the change to her assassinate bonus souls. You can actually end up feeding the enemy team by no fault of your own (assassinate enemies, your team dies with their share of the bonus, enemy collects the soul balls).
Im glad they are more open to re adding things that they may have deemed as unintended at first I don't believe HMC was ever something that makes or breaks the game and was just super fun to use the movement that you can do around the map with it is sick

Ult, refresher, ult (plus duration), and Soul rebirth were extremely annoying on top of her crazy damage. If she's gonna have so much death immunity, then she can't also be tanky. Especially since you can't cc her at all when she ults.

I think Geist is in a pretty healthy spot, they could make it so her abilities take away more health or make her regen go down to 0.5, that way it makes for some tough considerations early on, making laning against her easier, and slows down the snowball a tad but doesn't impact the late game for her as much. They could also nerf Malice again but fights last so long sometimes that having a character that spends hp to deal extra damage to someone increases the pace of duels.
slice n dice shive is pretty nasty just because youre moving so much towards the end and it has enough damage to take a good chunk of their health to the point where if theyre still engaging while theyre at like 50% you can slice n dice through them and execute at the same time
Any specific things to note with strong lane bullies like mirage into seven? Struggling with how to adapt and used to mop the floors with pretty much any hero but seven and geist now give me a ton of trouble

You cant really farm so you have to take fights and win them or you become last in souls. I don't really know what the answer is to fix her.

idk about dynamo being B tier, aoe stun that only a few characters have kits to counter just seems inherently broken, I would put him above a few of the A tier characters (assuming the dynamo actually has a microphone to say what they're going to do).

i think paradox got buffed for pub play and nerfed for organized, her scalings are a LOT better now, shes less reliant on teammates killing her swaps this patch
Melee cancel with fleetfoot has been in the game for several patchs now. I only started a few months ago and it's been in since I've been playing. Also you're supposed to sort tier lists. You have Yamato at bottom of B tier and your first words are "she could be A tier". Slide her up next time. Also, brother, Shiv is a terror in the right hands and you main him and you put him in S+++ tier and you say we're in a good spot on balance. Dial back these biases man.
I think Vindicta is a bit better than her placement in this video. For some reason High Elo Vindictas are stuck on the spirit build that everyone was running the previous patch. Her gun range is insane. I've had a lot of success in high elo with pure gun builds. Her flight uptime is horrendous so have to play around not using flying nearly as much.
i dont see vindicta getting buffed soon. in lower MMR games she’s a menace because lower MMR players dont play to her weaknesses, or dont itemize accordingly. same with haze. they’re noob stomper characters so to speak. how do i know? i queue with a friend who is a newer player, and he gets frustrated when we play against vindicta. of course this can be said for pretty much every character, like abrams can stomp lower MMR too if people dont keep their distance, but what I’ve seen so far is that vindicta often dominates low rank games.
i was playing lady geist day one and shes pretty fun but shes crazy good during lane with her bomb and crazy good the rest of the game if you know how to use her ult effectively, then i tried shiv and i havent gone back since because shiv is way more fun but i think lady geist is top 3 heros ATLEAST as far as meta

Seven needs a dmg nerf to Jungle mobs with his ball I think, would make him less efficient early, but would still enable him to power jungler when he gets Surge of power and Superior cooldown;for his Power Surge. Or mby just a jungle meta tweak idk, Seven stomps too many lower elo games imo.

This spirit scaling for Grey Talon to bullet damage is crap, if you actually care about the weapon damage then go for weapon damage items. Boundless is waste of money, and there are way better options like impr burst that works with mystic shot or surge of power.
Shiv and Seven are so oppressive right now. Shiv is just straight up near unkillable if he gets a decent lead, making comebacks against a good Shiv is almost impossible. Seven just farms too fast; he's just going to drive through the entire map clearing lanes and jungles in seconds, and he does it faster than Haze with ricochet. Mobility items like majestic leap and magic carpet makes it even better. There's literally no way to stop him from farming unless you dedicate two high mobility CC heroes like Wraith and Lash solely to shut him down. Shiv and Seven were my mains before this patch, but now I'm avoiding playing with them since nerfs are inevitable, and I don't wanna get a whiplash from it.
@@filipgasic2642 Nah can't get too used to them when the game is being updated so frequently, I'll take this time to master some off-meta heroes. Normally the meta lasts a few months, but in Deadlock rn the meta is shifting pretty much every week since it's in active development.
They need to nerf some of the braindead builds, like geist bombs and seven balls. Like wow, you threw down an almost unavoidable ability with a massive radius, you're so skilled, it must have been really hard to press that button.
Gunbop bebop & double / triple bonb sewerside bebop is insanely funny. And abrams is also very fucking good in pugs 😄 got shafted quite alot by him everytime i got matched against one
I have 409 games as McGinnis and I struggle to understand S tier outside of a 6 stack in discord with a shot caller and you have the time to get into a favorable position to land a perfect wall into an Ult, in solo lobbies she has to be one of the worst. There's no characters she feels particularly strong against now, Melee is incredibly meta right now especially with animation changes and cancels that make her even more vulnerable, her Ult is easy to get away from let alone cancel while being completely invalidated by a slight incline change, and her turrets die instantly especially early on. Even if you hit somebody with the wall early for the 25% damage boost, usually they can just get away. If they initiate on you, there's nothing you have to really put up a fight once somebody is in your face. Minigun might have high DPS but requires so much time to spin up all you have to do is break LOS against her for a moment to reset it. I think I went from winning most of my lanes previous to the patch to never winning a single engagement, and at the end if we do manage to win I just exist and never feel like I contributed much compared to any other character in the game sans Vindicta. If it's wall and a minor heal that your team constantly runs away from, sure she's a great, "support". The enemy has to be completely braindead to let you get anything off. What a I missing? How is she a threat? Especially early on when most characters can just walk up and slap her. It seriously seems like the only thing she's good for is the Wall.
unstoppable + fleetfoot + spirit build, unstoppable removes the movement slow from the ult and the damage is insane, you are running around with 15m/s and near perma uptime on ultimate
@@keslol One of the biggest problems with her ult is how easy it is to either stun her out of it or just close the gap, and I feel like that build would solve both those problems. Maybe worth checking into.

Haze definitely not A unless talking low to mid MMR. In high MMR she’s pretty bad, grey talon (gun build) and warden (hydration build) both should be higher than her
i’m going to cry when he is inevitably nerfed into being completely meta irrelevant because I love the character behind the gameplay as well, it’s mostly what keeps me playing him

yeah, making her weaker on laning stage would help, because it`s almost impossible to lane against a good gheist
Yeah, make her abilities take more health away from her. So she can nuke herself when she wants to and then take your health bar. It'll be great.

Turret build is similar except you build heroic aura and rush echo shard pretty early

I've had a lot of success in high elo with pure gun builds. Her flight uptime is horrendous so have to play around not using flying nearly as much.
i dont see vindicta getting buffed soon. in lower MMR games she’s a menace because lower MMR players dont play to her weaknesses, or dont itemize accordingly. same with haze. they’re noob stomper characters so to speak. how do i know? i queue with a friend who is a newer player, and he gets frustrated when we play against vindicta. of course this can be said for pretty much every character, like abrams can stomp lower MMR too if people dont keep their distance, but what I’ve seen so far is that vindicta often dominates low rank games.
7 balls are my favorite ability in the game but honestly they can get a little too big.
Wouldn't be a terrible idea to put a hard cap on their size.
The thing is Gheist AOE doesn't respect line of sight and can hit through walls. Making her easily the most BROKEN not OP but just broken character.
Shiv requires too much upkeep to be S tier for the regular joe tbh
i was playing lady geist day one and shes pretty fun but shes crazy good during lane with her bomb and crazy good the rest of the game if you know how to use her ult effectively, then i tried shiv and i havent gone back since because shiv is way more fun but i think lady geist is top 3 heros ATLEAST as far as meta
Great vid, I feel like this is the worse meta since I started playing the game unfortunately, a lot of things feel wrong and the character tweaks were off by a lot imo, hoping that some good changes come soon though.
Seven needs a dmg nerf to Jungle mobs with his ball I think, would make him less efficient early, but would still enable him to power jungler when he gets Surge of power and Superior cooldown;for his Power Surge. Or mby just a jungle meta tweak idk, Seven stomps too many lower elo games imo.

@volgtorbg Melee a lot stronger now. Melee items are busted now and Shivs rage amp makes melee even better. Probably Knife Shiv will be better only when they nerf melee items

I think the support build for dynamo is S tier in ranked tbh. Often ending the game with 70-80k+ healing
Why in your opinion is paradox so much better for organized play than bebop when both have abilities with similar functionality to “Force enemies into the team blender”
i think its because of the speed of the projectile (ie hook you can bait), while paradox is almost instant + she can freeze you to set it up

This spirit scaling for Grey Talon to bullet damage is crap, if you actually care about the weapon damage then go for weapon damage items. Boundless is waste of money, and there are way better options like impr burst that works with mystic shot or surge of power.
Shiv and Seven are so oppressive right now. Shiv is just straight up near unkillable if he gets a decent lead, making comebacks against a good Shiv is almost impossible. Seven just farms too fast; he's just going to drive through the entire map clearing lanes and jungles in seconds, and he does it faster than Haze with ricochet. Mobility items like majestic leap and magic carpet makes it even better. There's literally no way to stop him from farming unless you dedicate two high mobility CC heroes like Wraith and Lash solely to shut him down.
Shiv and Seven were my mains before this patch, but now I'm avoiding playing with them since nerfs are inevitable, and I don't wanna get a whiplash from it.

Normally the meta lasts a few months, but in Deadlock rn the meta is shifting pretty much every week since it's in active development.

They need to nerf some of the braindead builds, like geist bombs and seven balls. Like wow, you threw down an almost unavoidable ability with a massive radius, you're so skilled, it must have been really hard to press that button.
Gunbop bebop & double / triple bonb sewerside bebop is insanely funny. And abrams is also very fucking good in pugs 😄 got shafted quite alot by him everytime i got matched against one

I have 409 games as McGinnis and I struggle to understand S tier outside of a 6 stack in discord with a shot caller and you have the time to get into a favorable position to land a perfect wall into an Ult, in solo lobbies she has to be one of the worst. There's no characters she feels particularly strong against now, Melee is incredibly meta right now especially with animation changes and cancels that make her even more vulnerable, her Ult is easy to get away from let alone cancel while being completely invalidated by a slight incline change, and her turrets die instantly especially early on. Even if you hit somebody with the wall early for the 25% damage boost, usually they can just get away. If they initiate on you, there's nothing you have to really put up a fight once somebody is in your face. Minigun might have high DPS but requires so much time to spin up all you have to do is break LOS against her for a moment to reset it. I think I went from winning most of my lanes previous to the patch to never winning a single engagement, and at the end if we do manage to win I just exist and never feel like I contributed much compared to any other character in the game sans Vindicta.
If it's wall and a minor heal that your team constantly runs away from, sure she's a great, "support". The enemy has to be completely braindead to let you get anything off.
What a I missing? How is she a threat? Especially early on when most characters can just walk up and slap her. It seriously seems like the only thing she's good for is the Wall.
unstoppable + fleetfoot + spirit build, unstoppable removes the movement slow from the ult and the damage is insane, you are running around with 15m/s and near perma uptime on ultimate
@@keslol One of the biggest problems with her ult is how easy it is to either stun her out of it or just close the gap, and I feel like that build would solve both those problems. Maybe worth checking into.

Haze definitely not A unless talking low to mid MMR. In high MMR she’s pretty bad, grey talon (gun build) and warden (hydration build) both should be higher than her

Every patch they nerf yamatos ult , what if: initially its duration is super low , but it scales with spirit power ? Probably a bad idea tho😅
