My comment is solely about the photo part of the video. By and large, the "photo package" of the two phones is satisfactory. In my eyes, however, the iPhone wins, and it's on something technical that you might not be aware of. Namely the construction of the image sensors themselves. It is clear to see that Samsung's image sensor(s) are of a technically thinner type, where the individual pixel well is not as large. This results in a lot of over-radiation from one pixel to the surrounding ones. If you look at the first long-term exposures, the iPhone's image is clearly more "clearly defined". Although it is most obvious in low light situations, it is also visible in ordinary photos in normal lighting. It is also this problem that means that you actually do not get any benefit whatsoever from the many extra megapixels that the Samsung has. To put it as the photographer I am, the many megapixels are just a sales trick to get people to buy, the quality is not complete, because then the image sensor would have been too big. You also see this mistake made within quite ordinary cameras. There are many more things than just "megapixels" that matter. Had the rest of the sensor been of the "same quality", it would have swept the iPhone off the field. Instead, we now see over-radiation from well to well, which means that what you gain in the number of pixels you lose elsewhere. But pixels are cheap - it's "everything else" that costs. It can also be seen on the 1x5x10x photos of the skyscraper. The iPhone's rendering is the sharpest - not because of the lens, but because of the sensor. Precisely this also gives a more uniform color and a greater and more uniform color depth. And it is, after all, the sensor that makes each and every photo. And very briefly about myself. Photographer and photo dealer with more than 50 years of experience, including more than 25 years with digital photography. Finally, there is the personal preference, whether one likes one or the other best, and that cannot be discussed or quantified. Smartphones aren’t the problem. The problem is the apps that are used on them. Society isn’t negatively impacted to any significant degree from having a phone with any of the native functionality. Target the criticism at the appropriate culprit: TikTok, Insta, Twitter/X, FB, etc.
Great comparison, think it shows both phones advantages and disadvantages. For me, the S24 ultra is the better choice, but I think which ecosystem you use is the reason to choose by. Though Apple AI delay would put me of!!
I just bought the 16 Pro and even though the camera is top notch, the phone itself is still pretty basic. I now own a S22+, but I want a better camera. I think I'll return the iPhone and get the S24 Ultra. These are the 2 main reasons why I hate the iPhone: 1. Blutooth doesn't work with Android. My husband is and will always be an Android fan, so transferring files between our phones without a 3rd party app is impossible. And most of those apps require a subscription. 2. It's an absolute nightmare to transfer videos from the PC to iPhone. It only works the other way around. Normally when we go on holiday, we take photos with my phone, his phone, our Canon, and when we get home, I download everything into my laptop, delete all the crap, then transfer back into my phone only what I want to upload on social. I don't keep hundreds of GB of photos and videos on my phone. And without iCloud, iTunes or some other app, you can't do that with the iPhone, as it's still not compatible with anything other than Mac, after all these years. I have tried a million ways to copy videos from my PC into my iPhone and they just won't show in my phone. I don't understand why they can't simply sort the issue with an USB cable, like Android. Smartphones should simplify our lives, not complicate them :). If it weren't for these issues, iPhone would be my top choice. I love the phone, the feel, the design, the size - it honestly looks like a luxury phone. And it's much better optimised for social media, especially Instagram. Sometimes when I upload videos with my S22+, they lag or glitch, or are out of sync and it's so annoying. Not to mention that the app crashes sometimes and I have to re-install it. I am hoping that the Samsung 24 Ultra brings an improvement.
Samsung is definitely better in EU. The iPhone should be much cheaper in the EU than in the US because Apple Intelligence isn't available in the EU and won't be anytime soon. If there will be at all. Stupid EU rules. But I'm still IPhone user in EU
Thank you for the information about PWM. It is crucial for our health, and many people need to know about it. The frequency of 280 Hz is too low for our eyes. The best generation of iPhone is the 13th, and they have a much higher frequency of PWM (480 Hz for pro and 606 Hz for regular models)
Here we go again. The apple bias review. It is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that Samsung has left Apple behind. We've not even talked about the S-Pen or DeX.. Come on. Just admit that Apple needs to catch up instead of always coming to diplomatic conclusions about ecosysytems. If one needs proper video recording , there are professional video cameras to buy in the market, so thats not a plus for the iPhone. Own up for once, Samsung S24 Ultra beats the iPhone hands down without any apple loyalty bias. THAT SHOULD BE THE CONCLUSION OF YOUR VIDEO, instead of beating round the bush like your fellow co-apple fan boy reviewers. There are practical proofs. IPhone 16, no AI on launch (and flagship phones like the 14 pro max wont even get it - that really sucks), no S-Pen, no DeX, OS updates, not much customization......... Poor. Samsung is the obvious boss and Apple needs to take some Samsung MOOC.
This is a great comparison, but I definitely think there are some optimisation issues with iOS 18 because usually the iPhone is faster loading games and exporting videos.

I have both.
Waste of money but ok
@@TartanLad , maybe he has enough!!!
@@TartanLad I beg to differ. It's what I like, and want. I've been fortunate to have the means. And I'll switch ecosystems at will. Nothing wrong with that.
I pick up the 16 pro max and carrying a case with the camera control button n its better than just cut out
BRO! do you like Motocross too? cause im a huge fan of Motocross and always have been. im a super mega fan now. and would like to meet you some day. you like NF,skillet and motocross.
Both are technologically amazing but they're not making society better. Honestly society would be better if we didn't have smartphones
Suppose it would also be better without automobiles, planes, modern business tech etc eh?
Didn't take me long to find the stupidest comment on the internet today.
Smartphones aren’t the problem. The problem is the apps that are used on them. Society isn’t negatively impacted to any significant degree from having a phone with any of the native functionality. Target the criticism at the appropriate culprit: TikTok, Insta, Twitter/X, FB, etc.
Speak for yourself, I believe smart phones have been very important for society.
Thank you for this Video 😊 I don’t like Android any more since I have iOS 😂
Great comparison, think it shows both phones advantages and disadvantages. For me, the S24 ultra is the better choice, but I think which ecosystem you use is the reason to choose by. Though Apple AI delay would put me of!!
Both phones cannot beat each other in every cases. Here the issue is I can't afford any of the two😅
More ram on the samsung s24 ultra 12gb
I just bought the 16 Pro and even though the camera is top notch, the phone itself is still pretty basic. I now own a S22+, but I want a better camera. I think I'll return the iPhone and get the S24 Ultra. These are the 2 main reasons why I hate the iPhone:
Bro. Samsung is already cheaper than Apple
really? How about Samsung fold 1T
@@333allstars cheap than iPhone always
@@Sean3456 not really, 16PM 256GB costs as much as S24U 256GB
@@davidensinger4175 iPhone is always expensive
I don’t know the S 24 screen looks better to me
Sorry bro, my comment got pasted on your video. It was meant for the video I watched previous to your video.
I have both phones and honestly iphones just beat samsung as terms with camera quality and notifications. The s24 ultra notifations are annoying where as in iphone they are just right there easy to read and navigate through. Samsung beats iphone in display with more vibrant coloring. So idk both have their pros and cons.
Is it worth it to switch from iPhone if you are wanting something different or am I better off staying with iOS? I’m undecided between s24 ultra or iPhone pro 16 max and wait for s25 ultra.
Ford and Chevrolet. Coke and Pepsi. Been going on for years.
Beside of a sound, S24 ultra is the winner.
Great content, as always! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
The 16 Pro, the s taking better pictures, imo, they’re much re true to color, the further you go out, or up close. In game mode, the S24 Ultra beats the 16 ProMax, because of the Glare from the Glass.
S24U cannot even come close to iPhone in terms of gaming performance. In games where iPhone gives 80 fps, Samsung drops below 40.
BTW iOS 18.0.2 can't come soon enough for me. I keep having to reboot my iP16PM to get the camera working.
I left after the 13, iphones became boring (same experience since my 4s), I got the S24u in 1TB I'll be keeping it for at least 3 years until both companies (maybe another one) brings something really new to the table
I think I bored with Apple wanting to try something different thank for posting.
Ay yo my 13pro is glitching like androids 10 years ago. All the letters are small across all apps. I just woke up and saw these changes. I tried to fix it vie settings. Doesn’t work. I restarted the phone. Still no change. Wtf?
I don't understand the war, chose what you want.
@@StyIishy the “war” will never end and Android users are toxic and insecure about their phones. IPhone users don’t worry about Android users.
If you are wise, owning both will benefit your mental health
S24 is square and the edges look sharp which is a weird look but S24 has better contrast on Real Race Game
Next year ima exchanging my 15 pro max with Samsung 25ultra or pixel because I hate pill cut on iPhone ,miss , Samsung keyboard , ai features and most importantly I don’t have to pay more for my consumables to greedy apple
Apple could have at LEAST put a fingerprint scanner in that camera button so we could remap it for unlock instead of stupid no one asked for camera control button…
Faceid is great , no need for fingerprintsendor
I have the 15 plus … should I get the 16 pro max?
Switched to the S24 ultra from the 15 pro max and I love it ❤
I switched from the 15 Plus to the 16 pro for the compact size. The 15 plus was just too big for my hands! I’m happy with my choice!

Is there an android equivalent to Airdrop?
yes,it's called Quickshare
Yes 10 years after airdrop google made quickshare
@Randomdude21-e that's not true. Quick share was exclusively on samsung devices only for years but with samsung and google partnership, quickshare is now part of google ecosystem and works with all other android devices. That features didn't come out 10 years after airdrop,i don't know where you get your information from
iphone 16 should be compared to s25 not s24, obviously iphone 16 is better because they are generations ahead
Don’t like the look of the Samsung. I will stick with my 15 PM. It seems to do everything I want.
Two good camera systems. The issue I find on both is when a human subject in the frame. It can be epic or totally trash an otherwise good photo
IPhone 16 pro max is great but i love the samsung s24 ultra ❤
I think the problem witb Android phones in general is not the hardware, hardware is great ... it's the OS and the software. - I tried a s22 ultra for some weeks ... camera was great, screen amazing, the pen incredible, the dex super useful and even with all that ... I need to rollback to an Iphone that just works ;-)
