I have both of these phones and honestly it’s not the camera that sets them apart for me it’s the video recording specifically zooming while recording is superior on my iPhone.
Why can't we all just agree that both phones are unbeatable options? Boggles my mind that theres people here who would whine about using the s24u over the 16pm or vice versa.
I agree. Some people want a Ferrari and some people want a Ford. It all depends on what your needs are and how you are going to use the phone. Both phones are great and have their pros and cons.
Suppose it would also be better without automobiles, planes, modern business tech etc eh? Didn't take me long to find the stupidest comment on the internet today.
Thank you for the video. I tried the s24 ultra but the iPhone suits my specific needs more. I’m looking forward to the s25 but I’m not kidding myself in expecting a monumental upgrade.
Having more mics and the ability to switch between different modes on the iPhone is awesome. But the sound in Standart mode is just awful. It sounds way more processed and it shouldn’t be the standart. - An iPhone user.
All I can say is that it comes down to consumer choice at this point. Both phones are great, and personally, I would buy both because each has its own perks.
Samsung is definitely better in EU. The iPhone should be much cheaper in the EU than in the US because Apple Intelligence isn't available in the EU and won't be anytime soon. If there will be at all. Stupid EU rules. But I'm still IPhone user in EU
Samsung Ultra really is the zenith of technology with pen of the note built in. Such difference of design language and pushing further than Apple is willing to give us. Next generation will show if Apple can bring anything new to the table. It’s a drip feed company ever since Steve & Jonny left.
9:50 the IPhone 16 charging stats are interesting. Most youtubers just say 30W charging and 50% in 30 minutes and nothing more. I agree with zollotech that the last 20% takes over an hour and it's just 5V charging past 80%.
My comment is solely about the photo part of the video. By and large, the "photo package" of the two phones is satisfactory. In my eyes, however, the iPhone wins, and it's on something technical that you might not be aware of. Namely the construction of the image sensors themselves. It is clear to see that Samsung's image sensor(s) are of a technically thinner type, where the individual pixel well is not as large. This results in a lot of over-radiation from one pixel to the surrounding ones. If you look at the first long-term exposures, the iPhone's image is clearly more "clearly defined". Although it is most obvious in low light situations, it is also visible in ordinary photos in normal lighting. It is also this problem that means that you actually do not get any benefit whatsoever from the many extra megapixels that the Samsung has. To put it as the photographer I am, the many megapixels are just a sales trick to get people to buy, the quality is not complete, because then the image sensor would have been too big. You also see this mistake made within quite ordinary cameras. There are many more things than just "megapixels" that matter. Had the rest of the sensor been of the "same quality", it would have swept the iPhone off the field. Instead, we now see over-radiation from well to well, which means that what you gain in the number of pixels you lose elsewhere. But pixels are cheap - it's "everything else" that costs. It can also be seen on the 1x5x10x photos of the skyscraper. The iPhone's rendering is the sharpest - not because of the lens, but because of the sensor. Precisely this also gives a more uniform color and a greater and more uniform color depth. And it is, after all, the sensor that makes each and every photo. And very briefly about myself. Photographer and photo dealer with more than 50 years of experience, including more than 25 years with digital photography. Finally, there is the personal preference, whether one likes one or the other best, and that cannot be discussed or quantified. So if you like Samsung's pictures best, that's what you buy, but technically iPhones are the best.

Yes, they do. They build them to whatever Apple specs them for Apple doesn’t want the anti-reflective display because it affects the overall color accuracy. I think that’s a good compromise, but Apple doesn’t.

IPhone recognizes when you are running a benchmarking app so it uses the chip at full capacity, for the rest of the apps it goes back to normal so it runs throttled to conserve battery and to generate less heat. That’s why numbers seem impressive when you run these benchmarking apps but it’s not that fast in practice. I have the iPad Pro with m chip and it throttles games like crazy so fps games run better on my android tablet with a less powerful chip than my iPad.
@@zollotech for normal usage it doesn’t but for gaming it does. I bought the iPad Pro because it’s supposed to be the most powerful tablet for mobile gaming and in paper it is but after 5 mins it starts to throttle down and I get frame drops.
