The girl of steel really shows her metal in this episode and Waller finally got her comeuppance in the end becoming the most wanted woman on earth. Even steel got his chance to shine alongside livewire and her group.
Unfortunately Kara’s troubles are far from over. A survivor (or survivors) from one of the worlds Brainiac and Kara decimated is gonna eventually find her, and demand justice. Or worse she’s going to experience what Reed Richards and John Stewart went through, an intergalactic tribunal. It’s inevitable.

This was the best episode of the series so far, in my opinion. It had everything: lots of action, tons of emotion and payoff, and a dose of wholesomeness. It’s great to know that season 3 is already in production, because while this episode felt like it could serve as a series finale, there’s so much avenues left to explore( Lex hasn’t become bald yet lol ). The best part is that Batman caped crusader is literally right around the corner, so hopefully its quality will be equally as great.

Knowing that Waller getting convicted by the law is a good thing for me and a sigh of relief too besides if anyone does deserve to undermined Superman it’s Lex Luthor his archenemy.
First off, thank you for the excellent videos, Joel. Also, I called it, Kara is the Superman Red reference. Very genuinely, I think that season 3 or 4 could feature Death of Superman/Reign of the Supermen. But with Kara replacing Eradicator and Darkseid replacing Doomsday.
The depth of the raw gripping emotion in this show is unparalleled! I've cried so much watching it! The character development is top-tier and the storytelling is excellent! There's a few things I don't care for but on the whole it's.....well....super!
You know the best part of this episode? The past villains helping Superman. THIS is why Superman is important - him inspiring others become heroes themselves is why Superman will always be the GOAT. ALSO - Kara kicked Clark's ass in their first encounter but he defeated her in return twice (once while being mind-controlled, and the other here).
3:11 I love this reason for Brainiac evil motivation. One reason why I think many Superman villains weren't popular as the Batman and Spider Man rogues, besides the poor use of them in the films, has alot to do with the fact, most time, the villains don't have a theme that ties them to Superman stories. When looking at Batman and Spider Man rogues, most of them are usually dark mirror reflection of the heroes aspects (ex: Mr Freeze represents Batman grief, Riddler his intelect; Kraven represents Spider Man dedication, Ock his love for science) or have a personal connection with them (ex: Green Goblin and Two Face). Most of Superman villain were usually define by the fact they could counter his abilites. Having them dealing with things like loneliness is cool way to turn them into contrast to Superman's character rather than just his powers.
So proud of this finale (though wasn't expecting Luthor and Deathstroke being buddies), hoping S3 characters are: Krypto, Lobo, Maxima, Mongul, Bizarro and Cyborg Superman
I love the moment they gave Waller. Even if she does horrible things they come from a place of love for her country, she would gladly die to protect Earth. Unlike someone like Lex, who despite all his pro-humanity talk this season, only really cares about himself.
I love this episode it was really awesome and such a great season finale especially with Superman and supergirl kicking ass and beating Branaic was really awesome and badass and amazing In my opinion. Also that revelation of Braniac being the one to destroy krypton was insane and super dark and insane in my opinion, and such a great finale and badass that I am super excited for season 3.
3:50 Huh….gives an idea who might show up next season. Also Brainiac went full Frieza in the flashback when he revealed he destroyed Krypton. Though, because he didn’t give their “greatest weapon” a name. I wonder if it’s gonna foreshadow it as something.
For all the talk about Superhero Fatigue In live action, we are really getting great stuff in animation series this year. Seasons two of What If ,Invincible, and My Adventures of Superman along with X-men 97. Can’t wait for Batman Cape Crusader next month.
If Clark does end up wearing another set of trunks onto this new suit, it will be so good to see the two siblings in their respective suits with a memorable feature of their heritage: Clark with the trunks from his adoptive mother and Kara with the scarf like her adoptive father.
I think we'll have a new intro next season with Kara/Supergirl in it. I really like what they did her character, might be my favourite version of the character honestly.
2 things i noticed. I think the weapon beainiac said he used to destroy krypton may be related to the phantom zone based on what was shown in the flashback. Another is that it was implied in flashbacks that perhaps the enemy jeypton was losing to was apocalypse. Could darksied have potentially corrupted brainiac?
Its was a very good finale man and season 2 as a whole. I'm looking forward to see what they do with Kara in the future and to see who will be the next main villain, my guess Lex Luthor. Looking forward to season 3 !

I love this season two finale just like how it feel about the season one finale last year and i’am so excited and hyped for season three and I can’t wait for Kara’s journey as supergirl and more couple moments that we’ll get especially with karmy aka jimmy and Kara.
My Adventures with Superman's season 2 finale was epic. Brainiac is winning and getting ready to destroy the Earth. In typical anime fashion, there was no intro, which makes sense since Brainiac was winning. I was surprised that Hank Henshaw was part of the next attempt to stop Brainiac with missle fire from planes, but obviously, it was ineffective. Interestingly enough, Brainiac fired on the planes, destroying many of them. We don't officially know what happened to Hank. If he survived, this definitely sets up his transformation into Cyborg Superman. I did make theories of who would be able to help with this invasion, but I didn't expect them all to happen. Livewire, Heat Wave, Silver Banshee, Mist, and Rough House came to help Superman and Kara, while John Henry Irons came to help Lois, Jimmy, and Steve in the Steel suit. Even Sam Lane, who clearly recruited all of them, came to help Amanda Waller and Superman. While Amanda did choose to aid Sam, it doesn't make up for the harm she caused. I will at least give her some credit. Even when the odds were against her, Amanda Waller still chose to fight to save the Earth. That's more than Lex Luthor did. He showed his true colors as he ran off to save himself, as at the end of the day, Lex Luthor cares only about himself. It was pretty cool to see Steel, Livewire, Heat Wave, Mist, Silver Banshee, and Rough House help Superman and Kara get to Brainiac's ship. Unfortunately, Brainiac's mind control over Kara was still in effect as he took complete control of her. Brainiac then confirmed that he was the one who destroyed Krypton, and it was for such a petty reason. The kryptonians were losing their war to an enemy that we still have no confirmation on. Whoever they were, the kryptonians were negotiating peace with them. The theory that the kryptonians were at war with Darkseid now makes no sense because Darkseid would never negotiate peace with Krypton. The only planet that Apokalips has ever been forced to make peace with is New Genesis, and Darkseid has been shown to risk breaking that truce before. Not that it matters since Brainiac destroyed Krypton to prevent himself from being irrelevant in a possible time of peace since he was made for war. Seeing Clark shed tears is telling as it shows that despite Krypton's mistakes, he still has humanity to care for his people and be sad for their deaths as they at least tried to make peace in the end. It was fortunate that Jor-El found out what Brainiac was up to and got his son out beforehand. He probably managed to tell his brother Zor-El, which led to Kara's survival too, but unfortunately, Brainiac got to her. Brainiac is just so determined to win at this point that he used the Eradicator override of his mind control over Kara to force her to his complete control. Once again, Clark had to fight his cousin, and it was probably harder this time because of how much Clark had grown to love his cousin. I'm glad that not only does Clark not give up on saving his cousin, but he does it in a way that is true to who Superman is. He holds her and tries to reach her. I also like how Jimmy and Lois help to try to reach her, too. I was annoyed with Lois' previous animosity with Kara, even if it was somewhat reasonable, but Lois helping to save Kara here more than makes up for it. We also get to see Kara continue with her resistance against Brainiac's mind control. It was cool to see Superman and Kara send Brainiac's ship to the sun together, but Brainiac just wouldn't give up. His Black Zero protocol seems to be powering his laser with the kryptonite Jimmy left behind. I was actually worried that even with Superman and Kara so close to the yellow sun, they would still be in trouble with the kryptonite. Kara even had to push Clark out the way of the kryptonite attack, causing her to fall into the sun. Even so, Clark still went into the sun to save Kara. It took 2 seasons for this version of Superman and even Supergirl to finally realize that they get their power from the sun. It was awesome to see Kara finally get her official Supergirl suit, and even more awesome to see both Superman and Supergirl supercharged by the sun to where they could overcome Brainiac's kryptonite weapon. Even so, Brainiac still used a large kryptonite blade for one final attack. It was fitting for Kara to be the one to defeat Brainiac, even though she got a temporary scar from the attack and was out for a few days. It had a nice way to end the season. Kara survived the battle, met Jonathan and Martha officially becoming part of the Kent Family, and she got to officially play catch with Clark as a nice callback and bonding experience with the kryptonian cousins. I was surprised that there was a party at the Kent farm with Perry White, Vicky Vale, John Henry Irons, Sam Lane, Cat Grant and Jimmy's flamebird team, which raises questions about Clark's secret. Although, it is nice to see the good guys gather to have a party celebrating victory over Brainiac. It also seems like Mallah, Brain, and Kara are working on construction. It's nice that the Daily Planet is printing the truth about how Superman, Supergirl, and many people in Metropolis helped save the Earth. So, even if some of Superman's reputation is damaged, much of it is salvaged and stable. Supergirl also gained good favor on Earth for helping to save the world, and Vicki couldn't help but use Supergirl to scoop Perry. Amanda Waller hasn't made up for the harm she caused, considering that the people reported her still at large, but she tends to beat the system. To make things worse, Lex Luthor is still gaining power with Lexcorp and has Slade Wilson working with him, which in itself was an unexpected surprise given their rivalry. I worry about the trouble they will cause in the next season since Lex Luthor is Superman's nemesis. It was nice to see Lois officially turn down Vicki's offer. We all knew she would, but it's still nice to see her tell Clark, especially when he was willing to make the comute work if she did take the job. It was also nice to see Clark and Lois have a double date with Kara and Jimmy before Superman and Supergirl were needed, flying together with their respective dates. Nice end to season 2. The only downside was that Superman's costume still didn't have the red trunks added in by the end, but I do like Kara's Supergirl suit, and I can't wait for season 3.
i would say that gives Brainiac's motives more depth. since he knows, the race the krytonians are trying to make peace talks for won't go along with it, he makes a preventive strike against his own people; so that he can build up a new krytonian culture that can stand against a greater enemy. either that or he's just lying about their race was going to be destroyed. which, villains lie all of the time for their own gain; it's not like it comes out of left field or something.
@@johnthai6188I honestly don't think that this gives Brainiac any depth to his motivation. It's not like he even considered whether or not the peace talks would last so much as he was only concerned with how it affected his relevance in Kryptonian society. Brainiac still destroyed Krypton for the petty reason of remaining relevant.
Honestly Two for Two Great Season finales, This Show is GOATED!! Honestly can't wait to see where Season 3 goes from here. And here's hoping that Batman or Wonder woman get introduced in Season 3. Have the Justice League slowly forming and all that.
That was such a satisfying season finale, despite Lex not getting the comeuppance he should have. There was so much payoff, with everyone banding together to save their planet.
it is actually pretty scary to see kara with the angry red eyes. ah yes the power of family to destroy brainiaic. it's also interesting that they still kept brainiac's AI box; i wonder if, the writers are going to do anything with that for next season, or is it just a memento. also with the main cast being larger now, it's going to be interesting to see, what stories we will get for season 3. we also got an answer of how krypton fell. overall, i loved this season of MAWS; it's hands down better than season 1. for the people that had criticism of "bad" pacing for this season, and think that season 1 is better, I still don't understand where that comes from. this season had better pacing than season 1, or some of the episodes of x-men 97, better writing with it's characters and plot. which is a good thing, you want your characters to progress into being better written within the coming seasons. I would give season 1 a 7/10 and season 2 a 9/10 or even a 10/10.
Even though this season was a little low in my opinion, still very good though. But when they introduced Kara/Supergirl, Brainiac and more expansion in this version of the DC universe. I just to explore more of this universes versions of DC characters, I mean we saw a Green Lantern, Hawkman and Hawkgirl's race and home planet. I would love to see more of this universe and maybe have a shows about them.
@@johnthai6188 I think season 2 is better than season 1, but I was talking about some of side stuff was ok or not as good, but enjoyable like the episode on how Lois and Jimmy got to space. But honestly I don't have that much negatives in all of seasons so far, I really like the show and looking forward to seeing more.
The pacing criticisms probably focused on the first few episodes, as to how it took a while to set up the A-plot of the season, that being all the way in ep 5.

I can’t wait for season 3. Say what you want, but Amanda wasn’t WRONG, per say. This entire mess happened BECAUSE of Clark calling Kara. Technically it wasn’t even her fault. I don’t like her at all, but she had a point. Also Brainiac was mad because he didn’t want to become obsolete and alone, and ends up trying to force those situations onto Kara and make her feel alone. This show is PEAK. Also when Kara and Clark started trying to push the ship into space and the theme song started playing, you can’t tell me that didn’t get you hype!!!!!!! 😊
Also the length of this battle screams Dragonball. I actually like the idea that Brainiac destroyed Krypton (saving only Kandor, of course). More adaptations should go with that.
Did anyone else get that vibe that they’re not expecting another season? It felt super final to me. Like there’s no en credit stinger or cliffhangers or continuing sub-plots. Besides lex and Waller. It felt it all ended super quick.
I love MAWS and I can't wait to see what other characters they introduce next season we might see Green Lanterns, The Flash, Wonder Woman. But what villian do they introduce next season Zod? Cyborg Superman? Darkseid? I can't wait to find out. And I hope they don't keep this new suit I think it really looks weird and the original one was almost perfect or I guess if they remove the shoulder pads from this new suit and add the trunks I might like it but for now it's not my favorite.
Brainiac really reminds me of the machine from I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, he even sounds like him from the old BBC radio play based on the short story. I really liked this season but the ending felt almost like an end of series montage, it's weird how Waller gets to be on a facist on live television and take over only for post alien invasion to just have a tv say she's on the run? Also that Villain turned Hero with Steel gang just sorta vanishes?

Cartoon Theory ! we saw brainiac destroy krypton, but the method we saw had an Erie black beam/portal. what if Brainuac trapped everyone in the phantom zone like Zod was in the canon.
I wonder if they would turn Injustice Gang into the Suicide Squad once Waller finds a safe haven and a bit of backing. As for new characters, part of me wants the classic Justice League to show up piece by piece but at same time don't want to pull away from Superman directly. There are probably plenty of Superman villains to pull in. Luthor may learn from his failure of the Metallo robots and instead use the tech to make the cyborg version to hopefully avoid the new Metallo from being corrupted. Now, if they can only find a dog to adopt and turn into Krypto.
Going back with the Reign of The Supermen reference, maybe you could use Kara as the stand in for connor (unless they find some interesting way to throw him into this too but wishful thinking 😅)
If they're following the story concept of American Alien with some twists and turns that add to ROS, I would say that Superboy (Conner Kent) should be next and then maybe they can do a New Krypton Arc. I'd rather a Super-Kid we haven't seen in awhile be portrayed as he originally was. Chris Kent, Superman's Son who is Nightwing 4 and have him do a team-up with Jimmy because Jimmy's Flamebird and it will further add to Superman callbacks...also Chris isn't nearly as allergic to Kryptonite as everyone else...it'll still hurt, but it's practically pepper.

I mean kinda personally doubt it. Batman Caped Crusader starts on Amazon on August 1st, so they probably don't want 2 dueling versions of the same hero on TV. Then again we could take a trip to Gotham and maybe meet Bruce Wayne out of the costume.
I would like to see a justice league in this universe but I want this show to stay a Superman focused show. Maybe in this universe a justice league is more of a Superman team not heroes across the DC Universe.
not going to lie lex didn't look good at the end of the season. I get he has to have a sinister look, but I feel like Kryptonite illness sets in we might see lex shaving for cancer reason.
I did enjoy this show but that doesn't mean I don't have some problems with it. Though it makes up for it in other areas, it does get a little bit to corny with all the friendship stuff. On an unrelated note, did they ever show what civilization the Kryptonians couldn't conquer and were trying to negotiate peace with? I felt like I was missing something.

Wait I just thought about this do they Daily Planet know the secret identity of Superman and Supergirl because the Kent family held a bbq at the end of this episode and almost all of them were there and they probably knew who Kara was because she doesn't have a secret earth name yet and she had the scar on her face, I wonder what they will do next season will they just keep the secret identity or just make it so the Daily Planet knows but they keep it a secret
I love this show and glad how good it is. Unfortunately Young Justice is cancelled again. But I do think that DC once done as good as this, can use Animation to help showcase more of their characters. Like Aquamam, Green Lanterns, Wonder Woman, Zatana the Flashes, etc.
This show came out of nowhere to delivery some of the best Superman content in years.

Supes has a lot of cool villains in the comics.
Brainiac’s collection of planets in the DCAU is heavily hinted to be based upon a possible feeling of guilt for abandoning Krypton to die.

So proud of this finale (though wasn't expecting Luthor and Deathstroke being buddies), hoping S3 characters are: Krypto, Lobo, Maxima, Mongul, Bizarro and Cyborg Superman
I love the moment they gave Waller. Even if she does horrible things they come from a place of love for her country, she would gladly die to protect Earth.
Unlike someone like Lex, who despite all his pro-humanity talk this season, only really cares about himself.
I love this episode it was really awesome and such a great season finale especially with Superman and supergirl kicking ass and beating Branaic was really awesome and badass and amazing In my opinion. Also that revelation of Braniac being the one to destroy krypton was insane and super dark and insane in my opinion, and such a great finale and badass that I am super excited for season 3.

For all the talk about Superhero Fatigue In live action, we are really getting great stuff in animation series this year. Seasons two of What If ,Invincible, and My Adventures of Superman along with X-men 97. Can’t wait for Batman Cape Crusader next month.

2 things i noticed. I think the weapon beainiac said he used to destroy krypton may be related to the phantom zone based on what was shown in the flashback.
Another is that it was implied in flashbacks that perhaps the enemy jeypton was losing to was apocalypse. Could darksied have potentially corrupted brainiac?
Its was a very good finale man and season 2 as a whole. I'm looking forward to see what they do with Kara in the future and to see who will be the next main villain, my guess Lex Luthor. Looking forward to season 3 !

Brainiac was so good.
My Adventures with Superman's season 2 finale was epic. Brainiac is winning and getting ready to destroy the Earth. In typical anime fashion, there was no intro, which makes sense since Brainiac was winning. I was surprised that Hank Henshaw was part of the next attempt to stop Brainiac with missle fire from planes, but obviously, it was ineffective. Interestingly enough, Brainiac fired on the planes, destroying many of them. We don't officially know what happened to Hank. If he survived, this definitely sets up his transformation into Cyborg Superman. I did make theories of who would be able to help with this invasion, but I didn't expect them all to happen. Livewire, Heat Wave, Silver Banshee, Mist, and Rough House came to help Superman and Kara, while John Henry Irons came to help Lois, Jimmy, and Steve in the Steel suit. Even Sam Lane, who clearly recruited all of them, came to help Amanda Waller and Superman. While Amanda did choose to aid Sam, it doesn't make up for the harm she caused. I will at least give her some credit. Even when the odds were against her, Amanda Waller still chose to fight to save the Earth. That's more than Lex Luthor did. He showed his true colors as he ran off to save himself, as at the end of the day, Lex Luthor cares only about himself. It was pretty cool to see Steel, Livewire, Heat Wave, Mist, Silver Banshee, and Rough House help Superman and Kara get to Brainiac's ship. Unfortunately, Brainiac's mind control over Kara was still in effect as he took complete control of her. Brainiac then confirmed that he was the one who destroyed Krypton, and it was for such a petty reason. The kryptonians were losing their war to an enemy that we still have no confirmation on. Whoever they were, the kryptonians were negotiating peace with them. The theory that the kryptonians were at war with Darkseid now makes no sense because Darkseid would never negotiate peace with Krypton. The only planet that Apokalips has ever been forced to make peace with is New Genesis, and Darkseid has been shown to risk breaking that truce before. Not that it matters since Brainiac destroyed Krypton to prevent himself from being irrelevant in a possible time of peace since he was made for war. Seeing Clark shed tears is telling as it shows that despite Krypton's mistakes, he still has humanity to care for his people and be sad for their deaths as they at least tried to make peace in the end. It was fortunate that Jor-El found out what Brainiac was up to and got his son out beforehand. He probably managed to tell his brother Zor-El, which led to Kara's survival too, but unfortunately, Brainiac got to her. Brainiac is just so determined to win at this point that he used the Eradicator override of his mind control over Kara to force her to his complete control. Once again, Clark had to fight his cousin, and it was probably harder this time because of how much Clark had grown to love his cousin. I'm glad that not only does Clark not give up on saving his cousin, but he does it in a way that is true to who Superman is. He holds her and tries to reach her. I also like how Jimmy and Lois help to try to reach her, too. I was annoyed with Lois' previous animosity with Kara, even if it was somewhat reasonable, but Lois helping to save Kara here more than makes up for it. We also get to see Kara continue with her resistance against Brainiac's mind control. It was cool to see Superman and Kara send Brainiac's ship to the sun together, but Brainiac just wouldn't give up. His Black Zero protocol seems to be powering his laser with the kryptonite Jimmy left behind. I was actually worried that even with Superman and Kara so close to the yellow sun, they would still be in trouble with the kryptonite. Kara even had to push Clark out the way of the kryptonite attack, causing her to fall into the sun. Even so, Clark still went into the sun to save Kara. It took 2 seasons for this version of Superman and even Supergirl to finally realize that they get their power from the sun. It was awesome to see Kara finally get her official Supergirl suit, and even more awesome to see both Superman and Supergirl supercharged by the sun to where they could overcome Brainiac's kryptonite weapon. Even so, Brainiac still used a large kryptonite blade for one final attack. It was fitting for Kara to be the one to defeat Brainiac, even though she got a temporary scar from the attack and was out for a few days. It had a nice way to end the season. Kara survived the battle, met Jonathan and Martha officially becoming part of the Kent Family, and she got to officially play catch with Clark as a nice callback and bonding experience with the kryptonian cousins. I was surprised that there was a party at the Kent farm with Perry White, Vicky Vale, John Henry Irons, Sam Lane, Cat Grant and Jimmy's flamebird team, which raises questions about Clark's secret. Although, it is nice to see the good guys gather to have a party celebrating victory over Brainiac. It also seems like Mallah, Brain, and Kara are working on construction. It's nice that the Daily Planet is printing the truth about how Superman, Supergirl, and many people in Metropolis helped save the Earth. So, even if some of Superman's reputation is damaged, much of it is salvaged and stable. Supergirl also gained good favor on Earth for helping to save the world, and Vicki couldn't help but use Supergirl to scoop Perry. Amanda Waller hasn't made up for the harm she caused, considering that the people reported her still at large, but she tends to beat the system. To make things worse, Lex Luthor is still gaining power with Lexcorp and has Slade Wilson working with him, which in itself was an unexpected surprise given their rivalry. I worry about the trouble they will cause in the next season since Lex Luthor is Superman's nemesis. It was nice to see Lois officially turn down Vicki's offer. We all knew she would, but it's still nice to see her tell Clark, especially when he was willing to make the comute work if she did take the job. It was also nice to see Clark and Lois have a double date with Kara and Jimmy before Superman and Supergirl were needed, flying together with their respective dates. Nice end to season 2. The only downside was that Superman's costume still didn't have the red trunks added in by the end, but I do like Kara's Supergirl suit, and I can't wait for season 3.
we know as fans know that Apokalips won't ever negotiate peace talks, but the kryptonians don't know that in the show.

i would say that gives Brainiac's motives more depth. since he knows, the race the krytonians are trying to make peace talks for won't go along with it, he makes a preventive strike against his own people; so that he can build up a new krytonian culture that can stand against a greater enemy. either that or he's just lying about their race was going to be destroyed. which, villains lie all of the time for their own gain; it's not like it comes out of left field or something.

It's not like he even considered whether or not the peace talks would last so much as he was only concerned with how it affected his relevance in Kryptonian society. Brainiac still destroyed Krypton for the petty reason of remaining relevant.

Honestly Two for Two Great Season finales, This Show is GOATED!! Honestly can't wait to see where Season 3 goes from here. And here's hoping that Batman or Wonder woman get introduced in Season 3. Have the Justice League slowly forming and all that.
That was such a satisfying season finale, despite Lex not getting the comeuppance he should have. There was so much payoff, with everyone banding together to save their planet.
This show is just the peakest of peaks
it is actually pretty scary to see kara with the angry red eyes. ah yes the power of family to destroy brainiaic. it's also interesting that they still kept brainiac's AI box; i wonder if, the writers are going to do anything with that for next season, or is it just a memento. also with the main cast being larger now, it's going to be interesting to see, what stories we will get for season 3. we also got an answer of how krypton fell. overall, i loved this season of MAWS; it's hands down better than season 1. for the people that had criticism of "bad" pacing for this season, and think that season 1 is better, I still don't understand where that comes from. this season had better pacing than season 1, or some of the episodes of x-men 97, better writing with it's characters and plot. which is a good thing, you want your characters to progress into being better written within the coming seasons. I would give season 1 a 7/10 and season 2 a 9/10 or even a 10/10.
Even though this season was a little low in my opinion, still very good though. But when they introduced Kara/Supergirl, Brainiac and more expansion in this version of the DC universe. I just to explore more of this universes versions of DC characters, I mean we saw a Green Lantern, Hawkman and Hawkgirl's race and home planet. I would love to see more of this universe and maybe have a shows about them.

@@johnthai6188 I think season 2 is better than season 1, but I was talking about some of side stuff was ok or not as good, but enjoyable like the episode on how Lois and Jimmy got to space. But honestly I don't have that much negatives in all of seasons so far, I really like the show and looking forward to seeing more.
The pacing criticisms probably focused on the first few episodes, as to how it took a while to set up the A-plot of the season, that being all the way in ep 5.

Say what you want, but Amanda wasn’t WRONG, per say. This entire mess happened BECAUSE of Clark calling Kara. Technically it wasn’t even her fault. I don’t like her at all, but she had a point.
Also Brainiac was mad because he didn’t want to become obsolete and alone, and ends up trying to force those situations onto Kara and make her feel alone.
This show is PEAK.
Also when Kara and Clark started trying to push the ship into space and the theme song started playing, you can’t tell me that didn’t get you hype!!!!!!! 😊

Brainiac really reminds me of the machine from I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, he even sounds like him from the old BBC radio play based on the short story. I really liked this season but the ending felt almost like an end of series montage, it's weird how Waller gets to be on a facist on live television and take over only for post alien invasion to just have a tv say she's on the run? Also that Villain turned Hero with Steel gang just sorta vanishes?

I wonder if they would turn Injustice Gang into the Suicide Squad once Waller finds a safe haven and a bit of backing. As for new characters, part of me wants the classic Justice League to show up piece by piece but at same time don't want to pull away from Superman directly. There are probably plenty of Superman villains to pull in. Luthor may learn from his failure of the Metallo robots and instead use the tech to make the cyborg version to hopefully avoid the new Metallo from being corrupted. Now, if they can only find a dog to adopt and turn into Krypto.
Going back with the Reign of The Supermen reference, maybe you could use Kara as the stand in for connor (unless they find some interesting way to throw him into this too but wishful thinking 😅)

If they're following the story concept of American Alien with some twists and turns that add to ROS, I would say that Superboy (Conner Kent) should be next and then maybe they can do a New Krypton Arc. I'd rather a Super-Kid we haven't seen in awhile be portrayed as he originally was. Chris Kent, Superman's Son who is Nightwing 4 and have him do a team-up with Jimmy because Jimmy's Flamebird and it will further add to Superman callbacks...also Chris isn't nearly as allergic to Kryptonite as everyone else...it'll still hurt, but it's practically pepper.

I mean kinda personally doubt it. Batman Caped Crusader starts on Amazon on August 1st, so they probably don't want 2 dueling versions of the same hero on TV. Then again we could take a trip to Gotham and maybe meet Bruce Wayne out of the costume.
I would like to see a justice league in this universe but I want this show to stay a Superman focused show. Maybe in this universe a justice league is more of a Superman team not heroes across the DC Universe.

I did enjoy this show but that doesn't mean I don't have some problems with it. Though it makes up for it in other areas, it does get a little bit to corny with all the friendship stuff. But I do think that DC once done as good as this, can use Animation to help showcase more of their characters. Like Aquamam, Green Lanterns, Wonder Woman, Zatana the Flashes, etc.
