I'm actually performing with one DSi at a time! I use two in this video so that I can transition into the next song. While one DSi is playing a song, I set up the next song to play on the other. =)
This continually reminds me that you don't need super expensive gear to make great music. Well done. I hope you do lives, because this would be really fun to jam out to in a club setting.

Jesus Christ Anthony.... I can't believe you were 16 when you did this.... I'm SO EAGER FOR MORE DS10! THIS WAS A LOOOONNNG TIME AGO AND WE STILL WANT MORE!
@m31lo Thanks, man! I'm glad you like it. All of the songs I used in this mix were created over the course of the past year. Preparing this mix took about a week. I had to analyze my songs and figure out what was the best way to make transitions. Btw, I would love to hear a DS-10 mix of yours sometime. =)
I remember watching this time and time again many years ago before I bought it for myself. I’ve had it In mind and decided to check it out again for the first time in years. WOW! It’s Even better than I remembered, just quality. I need to dig my DS again and have some fun.
Absolutely beautiful. I downloaded a ROM of this for my Acekard 2i for the DS, and I love this so much. As a music maker, it's great for me because it seems like I always get the ideas I love the most, right before I fall asleep. This has helped a lot because when I get one of those ideas and am so tired, I can just open this up, put in the sequence, and save it, so I can remember it for later. :)
Gosh Anthony! I'm always returning to this video after all this years. Still blowing my mind the amount of things you do and the massive sounds you achieve. Thanks for that and the inspiration!
@pcm1630 Thank you! Yes, it's possible to make chords on Korg DS-10. By adjusting the BALANCE knob to the center and messing with the VCO 2 PITCH knob, it's possible to make musical intervals like thirds, fourths, fifths, eighths, and the like. Add in another note to the other synth instrument and BAM you get a chord. Most of the time, I like to replace some of my drum instruments for chords so that I have more freedom with the main synths. Hopefully I've explained this well enough. xD
My cat loved this video! I had my phone sitting on the couch playing it and he just sat and watched your hands go back and forth. Anyway, this was really fun to listen to, and it's hard to believe that it was created on DSs
Wow. After listening all the way through I am completely impressed by the skill you must have in memorizing how the song goes and making it work (most likely) perfectly. Not to mention this is a DS. Sir, you have my respect.

Korg DS-10 Plus is a pretty limited program in terms of what you can do. With the Plus version, you'll have access to four synths and eight static synths. There are 16 patterns to work with and three effects in total. The beauty of it is that you need to work within the limitations to make something great. There's no way of exporting audio, so you'll have to record the audio from the DS externally. I think the user interface is clean and simple. Endless possibilities of sounds from DS-10. =)
This is fantastic! Most people make worse music than you on software that cost them $1,000+. Not bad for something designed for gaming, My favourite bit was at 3:53. Keep up the good work!
This is really impressive! I'm terrible at live performance with Korg DS-10 Plus, but even I know that it would be hard to memorize 27-minutes-worth of song-alteration! Bravo!

@ASELTRANCE Thank you for your interest! Korg DS-10 is only available for the Nintendo DS. It also works on the 3DS, too. This program takes time to learn. I simply love everything about the music. You are a very talented musician, my dear. Thank you so much for providing us your awesome (literaly) music! Big up from Brazil!
I created four note chords by messing with the balance and VCO2 pitch on both SYN1 and SYN2. Korg DS-10 Plus has Dual Mode (on DSi and later editions) which allows access to two save slots at the same time. That kinda answered the question.
I commented on this mix sometime back in autumn and I feel one comment isn't enough. Beautiful music, very pleasant to listen to and very hard to not fall in love with the beats and the synths!!!
very nice man! :) this little program is exceptional! Your really awesome with it. Its great you can show what its capable of! Korg should sponsor you!
@Halopedian Sorry for the late response, but thank you very much! Typically, I leave my hi hat on drum track 3. For this transition, I replaced SYN2 with the hi hat and did some sneaky patching to create a 16th note triplet. Try this: Make a long legato note on SYN1 SEQ. Go to SYN1 PATCH and connect the square wave to VCA IN. Turn the MG switch on the left to BPM. Now, just adjust the FREQ and the VCA IN knob. You should be able to make triplets and notes faster than an 16th note. Have fun. =)

@DexterChacko Thank you very much! Basically, all I used were my two DSi consoles, some cables, and a PC. To mix one track into another, I set up the current song into a transition and pressed 'play' on the following song. It's done manually; if I mess up my timing, it would sound off. I had to figure out how to mix every single song together. Lastly, I recorded it using Audacity with the DSi's audio output and the line in jack on the PC. =)
