I'd love something like Black and White in VR. That game and (to a lesser extent) it's sequel we're fantastic and would translate perfectly into VR. Casting spells using gestures still amazes me even now.
This game is sublime. Almost worth psvr2 in its own right. I bought this to sell the psvr2 to my wife. She’s taken over the damned thing and I’ve barely had a look in. I hope the devs continue to support the game over the coming months.
@@TheAbvsyork it’s not a technical powerhouse of a game but all the pieces fall into the right place to really immerse you into it. Nice pace, lots of charm, some great attention to detail.
I can’t for the life of me understand while we haven’t seen Black and White on VR yet. Someone make this or something like it happen. It’s a genre that would shine in VR.
Thanks for making this Review, really love your reviews and the oldschool lens also helps :) I love populous so much, this looks like a good pickup and i feel like that more games like this will continue to come out. Can't say how awesome it would be to have a VR version of Syndicate/Syndicate Wars, that would be killer! Keep up the amazing work :)
I was checking this out because I am thinking of buying it on Steam. A good sale right now, (dated 2023-12-06). Nice review. Funny about what you said wifes, True True.
The venerable Amiga 500. Had one myself. Started with a VIC20 as my first computer. Then C64, C128 and Amiga 500. After that CBM folded, so no more Amiga anything, and I went to Intel.
Yeah, future games will definitely benefit by having more VRAM, main RAM... any RAM. On VRAM it seems that 16- 32GB is, at this (mid 2024) time, the "comfy target spot" for awhile regarding the likely VRAM demands of upcoming app and game releases. And a lot of other issues involved in all that, of course.

You have me dreaming of all those old bullfrog games in VR now! Imagine Syndicate in VR!

Yes!
Came here to say this. Townsmen very much had that B&W vibe.
yeah!
Isn't B&W2 allot better than the 1st one?
I agree one of the best games!
Spore would be fun too
This looks awesome. Weird no one’s talking about it.

I played Populous endlessly as a kid with an Amiga
Really good to hear, I loved the game and used to waste hours on it rather than studying for exams.... Worth it :-)
Was my first game on amiga in 1988.❤
same here. My mom said she just loved the music as she listened in the other room.

Hell yeah. I have hours of fun with Populus back in the early 90s on my PC.
This really looks amazing!
I just had a thought: The Sims VR
That would be interesting to see
I would love XCOM in VR.
R.I.P. rabbit at 3:52
For real. It was like when Jason put that camper in the sleeping bag and beat them against the tree.
Interesting concept for a game
Everytime I pickup someone and change their job i hear the old black and white voice saying "diciple fisherman" 😂
Can u make a technical video on how upcoming pc games will require more than 8gb vram.

Animal abuse!!
You said this was a quest 2 port. This is not true. Its a PCVR port.
100%, nothing feels more embarrassing than playing vr in front of your girl
