@Skeletor the Gamebro Again still not cheap. And given the fact you need a PS5 to even use it. It's not that far from the competition's price than you make it seem.
I considered getting PSVR with RE7 but didn’t and then got PSVR2 with RE Village as my first VR experience. I was not disappointed! Thanks Wood for the video. I really want to go in on VR and this helps.
Great to see some PSVR2 love ❤. No Man's Sky and Gran Tourismo are my favourites, Horizon, Pistol Whipped, Zenith, Kayak vr, Saints and Sinners, etc are all amazing.
PSVR2 is my first VR headset and it is amazing call of the mountain was a little of a tech demo but it was still a amazing game that I keep going back to after I finished it but I do hope that Playstation will have more exclusive PSVR2 games in the near future
If you haven't played it already I highly recommend Pistol Whip. It is a great blend of shooter and rhythm game. Also great for those who get motion sickness as you basically only move forward similar to an on-rails shooter.
Demeo was actually super surprising to me. It’s fun but SO hard. No baby mode. 😂 Synth Riders has been my absolute favorite so far. Playing in expert mode is insane, and the experience levels are beautiful. My coworker and I played the “among us” version of Pavlov one night and had a BLAST. I’m not into shooters, but the people we played with were hilarious. The only issue is that I’m super short, so it rendered me crouching. It only made the experience more hilarious.
I had a lot of hesitation buying the PSVR2 since I had significant motion sickness with the og PSVR... I'm happy to say that I've played multiple games on PSVR2 for weeks now and have had virtually no issues with motion sickness, even when playing longer sessions. I thought for sure I'd get sick in something like GT7, but I haven't had any discomfort. Hope this encourages anyone who has had rough times with other VR experiences but still want to try this genuinely immersive and astounding tech! And thanks Wood for the recommendations, I've been thinking about what I should try next and this really helps.
@piotrszmyt106 I've had no need for medication. Most of the games feel completely comfortable with one or two exceptions thus far that have created slight motion sickness. Most games have a very smooth framerate and comfort settings which really help to alleviate any issues. From what I've seen online, some people will still have problems, but there are some like me whose experience has been completely transformed by the new tech. If you've had problems before, don't lose hope just yet!
I feel like it mainly comes down to acclimation. I felt initially motion sick, but after a week and taking breaks and coming back to play as much as possible, I can play as long as I like. Now, the limiting factor is how long I can stand for, which I’m also acclimating to as well lol
Once you've played VR consistently for a week or so, you can do smooth turning no problem. Snap takes away from the immersion. I instead recommend turning on the feature which darkens the sides, when you turn your head. It does more than you'd imagine to ease motion sickness, and does little to break immersion. 😉👍
The best is just never using snap turn. You get used to avoiding the cable and the immersion is so much higher. If you feel the cable getting really tangled, just go into passthrough and start unwinding. The best solution is the VR wire cable management system though!
For me smooth turning is kind of hit and miss if I'm able to turn it up really high then I'll use that over anything else but if I can't turn it up at all or enough I'm going to use snap turning
Horizon cotm blows me away everytime I play. Scaling a summit and taking in the vista is amazing. Leaning over the edge of a cliff and getting anxiety because your brain thinks you're a thousand feet in the air is so cool.
Here for the PS VR2 content. I want to do snap turning but I just can't. I'd rather be sick 😄 It is true after a few day of queasiness I am able to stomach more smooth movement and turning.
I love my PS VR2 I always want to play games in VR. There’s no better way playing video games than actually feeling like you’re in the game and I’m addicted to it and resident evil 4 in VR is fire.
I've been a VR nerd since the OG HTC Vive and I still think Horizon COTM is solid. Fun combat, beautiful visuals, and approachable to people who haven't played the main Horizon games. It's no Half Life Alyx, but it deserves a better rep than it's gotten.
Demeo is my favorite. Tales of Onogoro gives me the puzzles that I love and I also love The Last Clockwinder. Plus, the only way I will play Gran Turismo 7 is in vr now. I love it.
I've gotten used to smooth turning over time but I've noticed that in the games with no reprojectcion and smooth >=90fps the issue was completely gone (pavlov, light brigade for example).
Been a while since you last made a Playstation video Wood. Wish you would make those more often. Love your old 10 best & worst PS4 games videos and your PS5 videos. Hope you review Final Fantasy 16 after Zelda.
Gutted this video didn’t do better for you man. As long as you know it’s not your content, it’s a really great video as usual, but as someone who has supported the tech for 7 years it’s an absolute roller coaster in terms of interest and retention. Only the hardcore keep going with it on socials. Hope you keep making the content you enjoy & don’t let the algorithm kill the YOU on your RUclips channel. If you read this you need to try some Zeldas in VR and I can help you set them up. Original Zelda, the nes version is amazing in VR and completely free. Breath of the Wild the great plateau is mind blowing to visit and I have some playable Ocarina Boss fights remade in unreal engine 4. Let me know. Not looking for clout.
I played many FPS games in VR. The best FPS game I have played is Firewall. The Sony exclusive. I own contractors, pavlov, war dust, and honestly every VR fps on steam. With my vive, vive pro, index and quest 2... all I really thought about was Firewall on psvr. That game made me buy all the PC headsets. But no game was as fun. PSVR 2 will have a killer fps. Trust me buy firewall when it releases for psvr2, if you want to get into VR FPS games.
Hey! Listen! I just watched your We’re not Okay video and wanted to share what helped me when I was developing agoraphobia after chronic panic attacks from PTSD. Therapy/medication! Im prescribed a beta blocker that I take if I know I need to do something that’s stressing me out. It stops my heart from pounding and it’s much easier to convince myself I’m ok if my heart doesn’t feel like it’s jumping out of my chest. I take it as needed and keep it with me in my purse in case the panic sneaks up on me. Grocery pick up. It makes the grocery trips shorter but still requires leaving the house. Make a physical list of things you feel ok doing. For me, “staycations” at a hotel in town (swim at the hotel pool, hot tub, order room service-it’s fun), going to the movies, swimming, going to the library were a few that made the list. I hope you’re getting better, little by little!
Psvr 2 is the first vr I've ever bought. I have been mostly happy with it so far. I don't play it everyday but I think that is the point of vr. It's supposed to provide short amazing experiences here and there. I couldn't see myself playing on it for hours at a time like flat-screen games on my ps5 or gaming pc.
For me I really love Pistol Whip and Symth Riderz...Anything I can get a workout in and trick my brain into thinking its a game is awesome lol...looking forward to picking up Creed
Zenith just got it's third class by the way and added a whole new zone, mining and woodcutting ^^ I got so happy seeing you like the game and added it to your top 10 :D
3:25 I just got my PSVR2 and since I already had REV in my backlog I popped that in. I got to the village and during one of the lycan attacks inside one of the houses I dropped my gun and pulled out my knife and just flailed about until I started feeling sick 😂
I’m looking forward to a wallet busting first year of PSVR2 games. Puzzling Places is a nice chill game and I think Walkabout Golf is going to be great for casual and chill games too. Moss is really good but Moss 2 is much better.
Hehe I'm in the same situation, got the headset and didn't realize I would have to buy a bunch of games but boy I do not mind at all! I have a wheel so Gran Turismo is heavenly 😍
idk if ur gonna see this, but smell-o-vision does exist (highly in beta but still works well appearently) thrillseaker has done some stuff with it, ill see if i can find the vid
Townsmen VR is such an overlooked gem on psvr2. Please give it a chance ppl. It's a really cute fun resource gathering game akin to Age of Empires and Stronghold.
Okay beta maps can you please upload another animal Crossing video I know you and King might be pretty right now but whatever I love your channel I appreciate your content❤❤
Too many people talk down on the PS VR2 , I’ll personally really enjoy the headset compared to my quest two and used it 100 times more as well. I can’t wait to see what games come in the next few years
Gotta agree with what you said about Moss - it’s the perfect entry into VR! (And Quill is absolutely adorable.) Now all that’s missing is Astrobot. Come on Sony, port that over asap pls!

I got motion sick when i first played Skyrim VR on the original PSVR, but i kept playing on smooth motion and eventually you WILL get your "VR legs", or at least i did. And now NOTHING in VR can make me motion sick.
i only have PSVR 1 and easily my favorite is Iron Man VR - Personal bias aside everything about it felt so good from flight to combat and it had a pretty decent story to boot! Plus who doesn’t wanna be Iron Man
Ye if there is one VR Game i can realy recommend: Moss 1 and 2. The best games ever. Games i also like are Half Life Alyx and Pavlov. And then there is many games i like but i would not say: YES, you need to play that game.
I just got a ps vr 2 from my boss cuz he doesn’t play games enough , and he knows I game every day all day , and man this little gizomo gadget is so fun especially for some one who hasn’t played vr and likes to play games and try something new, people always just have to complain about something ya know
I'm sorry, but I find it hard to trust your review of Horizon Call of the Mountain as a mere tech demo. To me, it seems not credible given that many VR enthusiasts are praising it as one of the best VR experiences to date, on par with Half-Life: Alyx. The developers clearly put a lot of passion into creating this game, and it shows in the incredible world they've crafted. As someone who hasn't played the game yet, I encourage anyone interested in VR gaming to give Horizon a chance and experience it for themselves.
You said the only current PSVR 2 exclusive game available right now is Horizon Call of the Mountain but the VR versions of GT7 and Resident Evil Village are also PSVR 2 exclusive games.
What are the BEST PlayStation VR2 games?

You should play blade and sorcery
With a Star Wars mod
Can you do a switch accessories mystery box I'm posting this from Australia 🇦🇺
I’m in love with the PSVR2. Bet gaming experience I’ve had since a kid. Cannot wait to see what’s next!
I have a question for you. Do you have a seperate playstation account for vr games or do you play all your games on one account?
@@primetimeperry622lo normal seria que tengas todos los juegos en la misma cuenta, porque compras los juegos en la cuenta igual
@@primetimeperry622 Same account. I'm curious why you'd ask that?
Come on guys. Show the PSVR2 some love!
Have you seen its price?

Love my PSVR2. I had a Walkman in the 80s! The earbuds are not that bad.
I just got one yesterday, and I had Rez ps5 and it was very fun. I'm on my weekend so I'll have to check out Horizon Call of the Mountain.
Hey Wood, nice to meet you tonight at #Puntnam’s in Brooklyn, hope you enjoyed your time with us

Thanks for giving Psvr2 some good content. Instead for nearly everyone else kicking on it so much they can.
Love the video, Wood! I want more PSVR2 content! I just got the headset a few weeks ago bad I'm loving it so much
For me I really love Pistol Whip and Symth Riderz...Anything I can get a workout in and trick my brain into thinking its a game is awesome lol...looking forward to picking up Creed

😮 I THOUGHT THIS WAS A MANDELA EFFECT.... I was like I thought he did Switch videos😅😅😅😅.
I just finished moss II it was f’ing fantastic. The puzzles were challenging at times but overall it was a beautiful game experience.
Thanks for the video and for that tip in the end... i always turn on smooth turning and i always get sick in like 10 min 😂
A few more tips for motion sickness. Turn on a fan. Walk slowly. Reduce brightness to minimum (that changes the frame duration). And don't play gt7. 😅
I absolutely love when you do playstation videos
In fact my favorite video you've made is your video on zombie games!!!
Awesome video thanks for the information have a awsome day wood
Very intrigued by VR and PS is likely the way I’d go. If a wee time crisis bundle came out I think I’d buy it immediately 😂
Zenith just got it's third class by the way and added a whole new zone, mining and woodcutting ^^
I got so happy seeing you like the game and added it to your top 10 :D
You should now in 2024 do an updated game list
Cool video! I'm really unsure about PSVR2 so this is interesting. Thx!
Buying it next week finally. First ever vr experience im going to have so exited!!!
3:25 I just got my PSVR2 and since I already had REV in my backlog I popped that in. I got to the village and during one of the lycan attacks inside one of the houses I dropped my gun and pulled out my knife and just flailed about until I started feeling sick 😂

While I probably will never give a PSVR I like seeing some gems on platforms other than Switch from time to time. Great video!
Me - the guns empty
Enemy - looks @ me are you gonna shoot
Me- slaps them with my hand 😂 because the gun is empty ☺️
Yes! More PSVR2 content please! Also, you've gotta play The Light Brigade. It's phenomenal. My favorite game so far.
Another game that is a must have is called walkabout mini golf. It hasnt come out on the psvr2 yet but will soon.

Townsmen VR is such an overlooked gem on psvr2. Please give it a chance ppl. It's a really cute fun resource gathering game akin to Age of Empires and Stronghold.
Just love how casually he just shows the New Zelda Switch 😂
Nice (And fun) video. Keep it up. (I still can't decide between Moss Book II and After The Fall).
Just got mine in the sale on Saturday £349 from Argos. Thanks for the video dude
Okay beta maps can you please upload another animal Crossing video I know you and King might be pretty right now but whatever I love your channel I appreciate your content❤❤

Im looking for playstation vr 2 games as DISC format. In retail stores but can't find any.
If Skyrim came to PSVR2, I would immediately buy the headset.
I really hope it does but it looks like microsoft just made a deal with Activision and Bethesda 😢
Probably working on an Xbox series X VR rival
Best game roundup for PSVR2. Thanks, man!
Gotta agree with what you said about Moss - it’s the perfect entry into VR! (And Quill is absolutely adorable.)
Now all that’s missing is Astrobot. Come on Sony, port that over asap pls!
Thank you to give us 10 games worth buy
You talking about Demeo in your review video made me wanna take a look at it and it’s one of my favorite VR games now
So many want to talk about the price, tech age is now and this is where we will see the have nots from the haves, if you want the kit you buy if not don’t. But I wouldn’t encourage pricing being the key point.
The experience?
Desirables?
the hardware?
lasting appeal?
I know even more titles will come so I don’t see that as a question.
I think it ticks all the boxes and we are just in.. I think the purchase was well worth it.
😂😂😂😂 the Village explained was great lol
Let's goooo! New video!!!
When you're playing horizon you should turn off vignettes. Please try the light brigade. It's addicting
Glad you're enjoying PSVR2 - you missed the best game though - GT7! Even if you're not a racing fan you should check it out. Mind blowing.
Also I love your video and I rewatch talk the Ali express ones or the videos where you buy every switch
Where is GT7? It's the system seller in my eyes. Even if you are not a car fanatic or a racing fan. It makes you a car and racing fan!
Excited for the YouTooz!!
That VR, something else. I still think I will pass out the more and more I see. If I ever try it, I definetly won't be alone.
I had Demeo on quest, one of my favourite vr games for sure
Even if I don't have a psvr or even a playstation, I'll watch wood talk all day about it bc he's wood
I like this video because I'm interested in VR and because of like you Wood that is all

Ye if there is one VR Game i can realy recommend: Moss 1 and 2. The best games ever. Games i also like are Half Life Alyx and Pavlov. And then there is many games i like but i would not say: YES, you need to play that game.
Pistol whip is another great one, beat sabre shooting. its a work out though. my kegs hurt for 2 days afterward
Kayak is relaxing for people without deep water anxiety
5:10 lmao this song reminds me so much of The Mowgli's - Clean Light.
Ngl im not satisfied with most the vr games. Resident evil village was amazing and zenith as well. I hope they bring more open world AAA tittles to vr
the kayak game is so relaxing
Keep up the lit videos
I recommend rec room it's not on PSVR2 yet but it's basically every other device/VR and it's free
I got psvr2, t300 wheel , GT7 and No Mans Sky all for $700 shipped.
Thanks for the video! I just dusted my psvr2 off yesterday, and i want to use it more!
