Welcome back to Bangkok! 🙏🏻😃🇹🇭 (Retired at 50 and living here since May 2022… I go back to Houston 4x a year for a couple weeks; but in Bangkok 90%). Enjoy!!! 👏🏻👍🏻
The joy you’re feeling is evident on your face, in your smile and from the WTF attitude you seem to have embraced. Your comments about “if I don’t do it now, when? “ made me lol. I am so glad you will have a friend to adventure with in Thailand! 💙
As a Vietnamese-American I go to Vietnam several times a year and every I’m in Vietnam I always go to Thailand. Love Thailand! Are you living in SE Asia for the time being?
I appreciate your bravery. I'd never in a million years jump on a non-bicycle without a helmet. I've taken motorcycle lessons (actual motorcycle) and seen the accident statistics. Now, it's not as wild as people hype it up to be, most high speed deaths occur by riders who didnt own the bike, didnt have a license, or was on drugs or alcohol, or were literally in the wrong oncoming lane on a straight road.. (around 80% of the fatal accidents). So if you're just sensible, you're not at as much risk as people think. That said however, what's also interesting is that the vast majority of serious injury (we're talking including permanent paralyzation, that doestn count as "death"), happens at LOW SPEEDS, city streets, between 15-45km/h.... Scooter speeds.. So if you think it's safer to ride a scooter without a helmet, than a motorcycle without a helmet, it's not. At even a slow 30km/h fall, if your melon hits anything at all, it's cracked. Oncoming / parked car door? Cracked. Light pole? Cracked. Then people say "but if you crash you're f'd anyway so helmet wont help". Yes it will, if its strapped on and isnt a trash helmet. At slow speeds they absorb everything. And remember, slow city speeds is the vast majority of serious injury cases. Not 60km/h+ on highways. Highways are actually the safest. I do agree with the "gotta do it once, to have done it". But yeah, not regularly, or even twice.
Welcome back to Bangkok Zane! I have resubscribed to your channel after unsubscribing when you left Thailand earlier. I'm looking forward to your Thailand content!
Welcome back. You come back at the right time. The air quality is nice and improving a lot due to raining season across Thailand. I love Bangkok the most during this time of the year.
I take motorbikes every time because i don't drive its like a whole excursion every time I love it. I almost fell asleep whilst on the back once I was drifting in and out of conscioiuness
That hotel you’re staying at seems like it’s the Kokotel Bangkok Sukhumvit. Nice place and can’t beat the price. What you ate, I love falafel, on pita with various veggies, ranch dressing with maybe some Sirachi sauce.
Welcome back to BKK! SkyTower: it is known as Mahanakorn Tower or Tuk Mahanakhon (don't pronounce the r). It is best to goog map it. The BTS has a station right outside of it. You get out at Chong Nonsi station. From Asoke take the Blue MRT line to Silom and walk out over to the BTS Sala Deang station. Take the BTS to Chong Nonsi. The Jenga like building is your destination. Ready some 30 bucks to go up (more or less) In Bangkok, everyone feels so at home. You look so relaxed and happier like you are on a real vacation now.😂
Yes, one cannot get bored in Bangkok. Not sure if you have checked out any parks in Bangkok. There is a great one in Asoke area, Benjakitti Forrest Park, and of course another great one is the Lumpini Park 😃.
Awesome you’re back in Bangkok. I think you we’re trying to get to Mahanakhorn Tower, but the views at Baiyoke is good too. Btw why do you only wear a black T-shirt every day?
Hi Zane. I think you gave away your hotel in the video. That's if one takes a really close look haha. Anyways, I'm Filipino and I love Bangkok as well. I just got back from a recent trip during Songkran. As a Filipino, I do feel at home in Bangkok as well and will keep on coming back. Enjoy and safe travels.
Man, I should've bought some stocks of the toastie company when it was 15-16 Baht per share. Now, it's 20 Baht :-( Seems to get free advertisement from vlogger after vlogger! Welcome back to the fabulous Bangkok. Take your friend to some of the rooftop bars. Those cannot be missed. My fav has always been Vertigo at the Banyan Tree Hotel on Sathorn Road. Just a 5-minute walk from the MRT Lumphini.
Breaking Mahanakon visit news: Hopefully you get this in time. Best time to visit is dusk. So you can watch the sunset and see Bangkok turn from beautiful daylight to freaking awesome night mode.
$40 actually isn't that great for that type of room. You can stay at a totally modern, sleek, large Ibis hotel room (global hotel chain) for $35 in Bangkok right across from MBK mall with fridge, air con, etc. Bangkok is cheap for hotels.
I honestly wouldn't return to the US unless it was of life or death other than that I would stay right in that country and it's affordable living and eating if that's your choice. Enjoy! Zane u only get one life So Enjoy!🙏🏼
Another tourist visiting making mainly a tourist-selfie. Nothing personal, but maybe nice to focus more on the town, less on yourself? Just an idea, you know, maybe a cultural thing? Good luck- welcome!

I was in the Navy for 20 years. Thailand and Spain have the prettiest ladies in the world
I think Italian women are the prettiest
you love those ladyboys
@@mr90s48 the ladies in Italy are the hairiest. They don't shave anywhere. Lol
welcome back home .

I think the one you want to visit is Mahanakorn building, they have a glass deck.
Welcome Zane! I've lived in Bangkok for almost a year, If you'd like to grab a coffee at soho house I'd love to hang out!
Bangkok has been the most visited city by foreign tourists in the world for 5 consecutive years. 🤗😊
Very pretty enjoyable vlog
Welcome to Thailand again

Great vid
You look so happy!
Hello, welcome back to
Thailand agin, I saw smile on your face.
❤️🤍💙🤍❤️

wow what a nice view, never been in Bangkok, it's beautiful 🤩
The difficult part about Bangkok that everybody hates is getting out of it. "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave".
@Chai You know, it's not always "One Night in Bangkok" that was born from inspiration 😉.
Thank you to back to thailand .
Welcome back to BKK!

That was fun let's do that again 😊 found you on Instagram! ❤
Awesome vlog 🔥🔥
I knew you were going for a toasty will be doing the same thing as soon as i get back
The building you suppose to go is called Mahanakorn, right next to BTS Chongnonsri station
I take motorbike taxis all the time, the drivers know what they're doing and i've never really felt unsafe
Bangkok wooo 😊
I see my fellow Pinoys working at Hotels in Bangkok. I can tell they are Filipinos by their accent.
I thought so too. That's deffo not a Thai accent of English.
Welcome back to BKK 🤗😊🫰❤️🎉🎊🇹🇭
I think you just made up my mind where in Asia I want to retire to
You should go to Phuket and go to Chiangmai again.
Or go to Pattaya.

You found your future wife?
