Nice - thanks for this.
At 19:35 you propose a little tip to help isolate the terrain for grass painting, but it doesn't resolve the real problem.
If you again replace the terrain mesh with a new one, you will lose your foliage yet again. This is a problem, and I hope the developers find a way to re-link foliage to updated/ replace base meshes. I've lost hours of work having to re-place painted foliage. They need to realize that terrain changes frequently during design iterations in most projects.
The other tip I suggest (but didnt mention in this video) is to bring in your topography SEPARATE from your building. So, if your building changes A LOT, you arent refreshing the topography model all the time (and potentially losing the painted vegetation). Not sure there is much to do about that issue.... As you are painting on a mesh surface and that mesh surface gets replaced and potentially modified
@@TheRevitKid Yes - I always have a "TERRAIN" fbx separate from the main model for this reason. Still, foliage is lost with every refresh of that terrain model. My work-around is to apply foliage to a "dummy" terrain which is switched off during renders. That way, if the displayed terrain has been changed then the foliage is not lost because it's connected to the dummy. It's still a problem though if the new terrain has, for instance, some new lowered areas around a building. The foliage (connected to the dummy) will appear to float over the lowered terrain. You're right - not much can be done - but Epic could create a new kind of "dynamic geometry" that can re-connect foliage to it's revised z-depths on each refresh.
Hi, did you post process these views before showing your client?
Just a little bit of color correction... yes. Nothing more than that.
Look at this video... around 39 minutes I show basically the extent of my color correction: ruclips.net/user/live00-lkTbX0lI?feature=share
How is this tutorials in this insane speed ? 😅

Is there any way you can soften the model edges through the material editor?
No… Not the I am aware of. You’d have to chafer the mesh edges.
Hello Sir, is there any way we can reduce the poly count in Revit, cant find any solution Sir please help me...
Not sure what you mean? Do you mean when you EXPORT from Revit to Twinmotion?
@@TheRevitKid Sir, for VR Experience i want to Reduce the polygon count of Revit Model Sir...
Can u tell me a way to decrease the mesh of a Revit Model Sir...
@@abcreations3298 Revit does not have meshes... so you need to tell me what format you are exporting to and trying to use VR with before I can answer you.
@@TheRevitKid i have Tried with fbx and Datasmith Sir, to import it into Unreal Engine, but as my project is large the polycount went to 2 Million...
