This song belongs this way, not like the studio version - in my opinion. Not easy staying on track this way though. Lots of small time issues but it's still a lot more fun than the Ride the Lightning version.

Not nearly as good as this.
But I think they've been playing fairly good in 2016, considering how much their age is showing. The album is great and all, but it's no secret that lars lost some energy and it's totally ok. He talked about it in some interviews himself.
btw he's almost never played creeping death right, at least not to the studio version. He sort of evolved his own easier live version over the years
Jens Harald the thing is that when the black album came out metallica started to play slower and more groovie songs, that's why lars body got used to play slower songs and the faster songs got harder for him. For example Dave Lombardo's bodie got used to very fast songs and that's why at his age he is able to play fast.

This is the perfect amount of kickdrumming on creep. In my opinion the Joey Jordison version is a bit too much, the song doesnt support Joeys way of drumming (or vice versa) . Great cover!

I know you always include special fills and everybody highlights them in the comments but what always amazed me as a guitatist is the fludity of your playing. Like at 01:29, your kick drum placement (timing wise) is so perfect that it makes me wanna go and grab my own instrument. Keep going man, you are one of the best!

But to not like a kid playing his heart out and letting the rest of us see and hear..You dislike a flat tire....you dislike the plumbing causing a water leak...you can dislike so much that you may miss an opportunity to actually "like" something.
