My father grew up in Hugoton. I love that little town. It used to be one of the most wealthy towns when oil was spilling like crazy. The last time i was there (2018), it was just a sleepy little town with the nicest people ever. This story is so sad. I'm praying they find these women alive, but i think we all know the odds are not on their side.

Because the women are likely dead...at the hands of her ex's family. Police aren't going to go on a wild goose chase when the know who did it. They probably already got all the cell phone data on the family members and saw the planning and the aftermath. Now they're building a tight case against them.

But that area scares me. It’s common to need to search ourselves instead of hoping officials will do it. I learned that when my 13 yo daughter went missing. As it is, she’s lucky she didn’t end up one since she went with an older but underage so protected from being an amber alert as it should have been male from her school. She’s autistic and gullible and a fawning and didn’t know how to not just go along with a come with me scenario. However she did somehow figure out how to lead them through areas she knew I’d search, some so horrific dark and gang obvious I was afraid of actually finding here there; and to the hospital hours and hours away where I and both of my parents had completed residency with so I was already steadily moving my way there, had called ahead just in case, and she was immediately recognized by patrol. They called me and said they brought her in with an older male and he had called his parents to come get him, but that she wasn’t talking. Which was common, she’s selective mute when stressed or frightened. She was also known to wander with no reasons why or where when she would so I had to be cautiously aware at all times. She home schooled after that is a happy adult ow but has never ever ever spoken about those two days. We have to do the work, you’re the help these two women need.

I'm sorry but no not everybody knows about this. I live in Kansas, and I've never even heard of these women. I pray they are found. What do you mean someone sent them out there to check an abandoned house. Maybe check into that person to see if foul play is involved.
One article wrote mother had to have other woman along, because her brother was a sexual predator who had harmed the kids and she refused to protect the kids from him. Wish they'd report on that and other basics around the custody case. Kids will be safer without that side of family in their life, if claims in newspaper are correct. We learnt quickly not to let the hate get us down, most people are just grateful for the help...you might be surprised the way it works, that the next time you search it could be those haters begging you for help to find someone they care about. They are just making noise to get attention. You have to remember (even if you don't find the 2 ladies) that you are helping. I think it's time for authorities to realize the public is getting tired of our people/our kids going missing, and supposedly without a trace. The reason the public wants more info is bc the public often has doubts on how these cases are investigated. Are they turning over every stone? Sometimes, is there a cover up happening? I'm sorry but no not everybody knows about this. I live in Kansas, and I've never even heard of these women. I pray they are found. What do you mean someone sent them out there to check an abandoned house. Maybe check into that person to see if foul play is involved.

Do what you feel you need to...most negative feedback comes from people who don't have the ability to do anything themselves.... As a volunteer here in Australia I have helped in search and rescue. We learnt quickly not to let the hate get us down, most people are just grateful for the help...you might be surprised the way it works, that the next time you search it could be those haters begging you for help to find someone they care about.
They are just making noise to get attention.
You have to remember (even if you don't find the 2 ladies) that you are helping. Even if it's only to give the comfort, to those who care, of knowing someone is actively looking. You do what you can and let the true colours and dirt of others wash out together. People who see you can tell... Anyone who has ever searched knows what it's like, the feeling that you just have to look at one more place before you stop. Look after yourself.

The state investigators or FBI would have a hotel room in proximity of the investigation. Which is obviously NOT where the car was left. Stop standing in fields and start watching diners and hotels. Where is the closest air port?

But that’s truly not what we are here for, I have absolute faith in LE here and they are working hard to get answers. I am just here to try to help find the ladies, if that’s possible, as there have been no searches other than the initial couple of hours. They need justice but they also want them found and someone on their side to be a voice for their loved one.

One thing the Oklahoma panhandle has is a vast amount of nothing. You could literally be 50ft from someone laying in the tall grass and never find them.
I think it's time for authorities to realize the public is getting tired of our people/our kids going missing, and supposedly without a trace. The reason the public wants more info is bc the public often has doubts on how these cases are investigated. Are they turning over every stone? Sometimes, is there a cover up happening? Are they competent? With technologies help, our crime resolve statistics shouldn't be at 50%. So yes, I see why RUclipsrs are going out and checking tips they are receiving.
Rock Chock and Kari have been in the panhandle searching for Veronica and Jilian for over a week. I admire their dedication and perseverance. I pray to God they or somebody will locate these two moms and return them to their families. Just as much, though, I want the low-life who did this brought to justice and placed on death row. So far, I'm not at all impressed by the OSBI. I think the FBI would be a better agency to handle this case as it does cross state lines. From what I've seen so far, this case is too out of reach for the OSBI and they should hand it over to a more competent agency.
