  • Police towed a white trailer Tuesday that belongs to one of four people charged in the death and disappearance of Kansas moms Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley. Each of the four suspects is believed to be involved in an anti-government group called God's Misfits, though it's unclear whether the organization is connected to the women's deaths.

A town that small, with everyone knowing everyone else, and this judge is claiming he is best friends with one of them but yet he never even heard of this group? HIGHLY UNLIKELY. In fact, SO unlikely as to be laughable that anyone in that area would make such a claim.
There may be long distances between residences, and it may be very remote, but townspeople and especially law enforcement know exactly who is who, who lives where, and the business of people in their area. And if they don’t know them personally, they know people who know them personally. And people have nothing better to do than to talk about their neighbors and anything that moves in their town, comes into their town, and lives in areas surrounding their town.

Sooo true. It’s hard to fathom how people can become so self centered and deluded that they would murder two moms, hide their crime, lie to their grandkids and investigators and yet feel they are the best parent for these kids. Delusional, conceited and Oblivious to the tragedy they’ve created for these kids.

This is a horrendous situation, but the thing I have trouble with is how they're trying to paint rural America, this is a massive departure from the norm.....if this much press time was given to murders in liberal urban areas, there wouldn't be time to report on anything else. Per capita rural America is by far the most sane place to be.
