I think this is a GREAT project to demonstrate that you only have to craft one piece at a time, if "making a costume" is too intimidating. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve just started planning my winter soldier cosplay, I planned on doing something similar to this technique for his arm so it was great seeing it in action!
To be honest, while I'm not sure _exactly_ what you're envisioning, I think a combination of techniques from this and the Decimation Claws ( ruclips.net/video/H_Rj1stiNkk/видео.html ) would be bob on...
This will come quite in handy for my incoming Techpriest cosplay...oh and finally a reliable glue thats available in germany. Have been looking for one for quite some time now.
A robot arm was the first prop I ever made and it's really a great first thing to create as it's not too complicated yet a quite complete object 👌 I even made mine without using a hot gun 😅
Thanks, this super useful video helped a lot for my first cosplay project! I made the big clunky bionic hands of Nina Cortex though - a bit different than your elegant example!
Never made a cosplay fit before and I think I’m going to use your pattern and this video to make a robot arm for a Tetsuo (of Akira 1988) fit! After spending hours looking for something I could just buy. This will be much cheaper. Thank you!!
