    Really well done! I like it.
    How long does the acrylic paint last on the fabric? I have not painted straight acrylic on spandex before, I always expect it to crack and peel from the major moving points (knuckles, wrist).
    Just curious.

      Yea, very good question, plz answer.

    • @HendoArt
      @HendoArt  6 лет назад +24

      Odin Makes oh hi senpai! I've found that as long as I paint while wearing it, there isn't much cracking since I'm already stretching it as far as it will go for the most part. Also kind of depends on the brand, I'm using the brand Golden in 3 layers and it hasn't budged at all. I've also found that it actually sinks into thin stretch fabrics better than when I'm using it to cover vinyl or leather!

    • @anarchyantz1564
      @anarchyantz1564 6 лет назад +1

      Hendo Art - I love the fact you paint it while wearing it, wish I was that dexterous, I find if I am trying it that way my hand I am doing it on shakes slightly to get anything done that looks straight. In this case would Plasti dip or a vinyl spray undercoat work to eliminate the cracking when using the acrylic? Oh and excellent work by the way, found you via Odin and subbed ! :)

    • @HendoArt
      @HendoArt  6 лет назад +4

      A plastidip undercoat will also crack once you put it on, so it's better to just paint it while stretched. If you can't wear it, you can usually just stretch it over something, like a spray paint can or a wine bottle! Something that matches the thickness of your arm!

    i could watch you for hours. and all i can think is that you dad is the luckiest dude on earth. christmas shopping for your daughter at home depot, power tools on every occasion. midnight calls because of technical problems... thats the dream.

    @camaro6780 6 лет назад +11

    I saw the video go up and quickly went shopping. Started making my arm by following your video. So far I put 8 hours in and I've been eyeballing the whole time. You make this look so easy. I lost myself somewhere and have to fix it but I hope I can get it all right for comic con in 3 weeks

  • @ctso74

    I am honestly impressed by your one-handed painting. The arm looks great!

    • @HendoArt
      @HendoArt  6 лет назад +1

      Do most people paint with two? Genuine question lol I haven't watched many people paint!

    • @ctso74
      @ctso74 6 лет назад

      When doing small details, I'll need to steady one hand with the other. Otherwise, it looks all wobbly. Too much coffee?
      I don't think I'd be able to do my own arm, without cheating somehow.

He's named Kable so he was super excited to see who he was named after finally, as was I... I just slapped together random shapes because i couldn't find any decent reference pictures.
