Thank you so much, I followed the low poly character tutorial and wanting to rig it but didn’t know how.
Very helpful advice! Also, I love your watercolour painting of London.
Amazing work!
As always the best!
Thanks!
What if the model has multiple objects attached to it or is made out of entirely multiple objects
When you weight paint thats when you get everything to follow the rig
Exactly the problem I have, and there’s no tutorial that addresses this problem. I’m rigging a robot with many parts and every single “rigging for games” tutorial uses a simple humanoid model that’s made out of one object
What if it’s a hard surface model?
Trying to do the "Keep Offset" thing but it doesn't work, am I missing something? Like I see the dotted line between the correct joints and when I move the other bone the other bone does nothing.
Try selecting the opposite order when your parent, you might have parented the bones the wrong way
you're awesome at tutoring...
Thanks!
Why would you use the single bone instead of the human preset?
IDK so many people complain about me using rigify so I just showed it from the ground up
@@ThomasPotter it was genuine decision! If they like making their job harder let them do it.🤭🤣👊🏽

What I need to know is how to weight paint a complicated model that has 3 layers of clothes. Shortcuts, tricks, anything. I'm losing hair over this.
A lot of messing around with weight paints and topology
Maybe delete geometries that are covered by clothes? This will make weight paint muvh more easier and lesss clipping problem
