He said he felt the spirit in my words and emotions and was touched. His heart was softened. Now we are able to share lots of things of a spiritual nature. Not perfect, but so much better! God bless you that you may find a way through it. 🙏

I also love The Lord is my Light. That hymn describes Him for me. Also Amy Wright in her closing prayer at the end of Conference called Him “The Messenger of the Covenant.” I literally thought what in the world, I have never heard that one!! Wow! She seems to have a few titles for Jesus that I need to learn. Great video discussion. 😊 I liked how you said to say His titles meaningfully. I have been doing that in my prayers, so this was an endorsement.

I really felt the same when Bro. Jeppson said that the more we try the more we feel like we’re going backwards. We simply have tp push through it-if we know we’re not doing something wrong. And eventually we break through the wall.
My daughter and I got saved a few months ago and attend Glad Tidings Church in Yuba City with Pastor Dave Bryan. It was the best thing I have ever done in my entire life.

What Matt is sharing here reminds me of the path "Spencer" shared as he and those traveling with him; that they learned that through their trials taught them that they had to learn to "totally depend and focus" on our Savior.
I love what has been said. I too have a testimony and personal relationship with my Savior much like you do from the experiences that I have had. Isn't it wonderful? He is my JOY!

Randy, I have watched all of your wonderful episodes on your channel as well as Matt’s. But this one right here, to me, is the most important one that has been posted. It beautifully illustrates foundational truths that I pray reaches so many hearts.
If I may briefly say, for months I have been prompted to start a podcast focusing on the names of Christ (based on my artwork called “I AM”, that I had a dream about years ago) and I finally am heeding the prompting and just recorded my first 3 episodes this week. (Would be honored to have you guys on it sometime soon)
However, the reason I share this, is to express my gratitude for the both of you, being the inspired instruments in His hands that you are, and that after listening to this episode it gives me another witness that I too can and need to raise my testimony to help bring others closer to our Savior- to truly know Him, not just know of Him.

Thank you for your example of forgiveness. All too often people who are searching or trying honestly to repent they are blocked and stifled by others' judgemental actions and seif righteousness. We in the church must stop doing that and allow those who have slipped from the path to be able to return for when they do return they will likely have soom amazing lessons and experience from the Savior to share with other for all to learn from.

This was a home run for me as well. I am conservatively excited about GC. I have been expecting more and have been underwhelmed with conference until someone starts pointing things out that I didn't see as clearly.

Don't be disappointed if it's just the basics and the milk again, many of the members aren't ready to hear about the hardships and tribulations coming.

“Truman show” I love that! We have to learn to look beyond our perceptions. Before I start my day, I close my eyes and picture our earth hanging in space surrounded by the planets, and that helps bring everything into the proper perspective

It’s very interesting to me that Matt felt like earthquakes would be something big that he mentioned in this podcast. Then we had an earthquake in Taiwan, one in Japan, and one on the east coast of America all in one week.

You were speaking of people "who mess up very little in their life" which brought to my memory something from Edward Gibbons book about the Roman Empire.
"The friends of Christianity may
acknowledge without a blush, that many of the most eminent saints had
been before their baptism the most abandoned sinners. Those persons, who
in the world had followed, though in an imperfect manner, the dictates
of benevolence and propriety, derived such a calm satisfaction from the
opinion of their own rectitude, as rendered them much less susceptible
of the sudden emotions of shame, of grief, and of terror, which have
given birth to so many wonderful conversions. After the example of their
divine Master, the missionaries of the gospel disdained not the society
of men, and especially of women, oppressed by the consciousness, and

It is the "abandoned sinners" who often go on to "the most eminent saints." Whereas, those "whose opinion of their own rectitude," were "less susceptible of ..shame, of grief, and of terror."

Many evangelicals and latter-day saints have had dreams about a massive earthquake, originating from the New Madrid, that splits this country in half. Some have seen the Gulf of Mexico flood into the country, up to the great lakes. Obviously, I'm a believer. I'm just curious as to how the Lord will preserve sacred sites like Adam-Ondi-Ahman, if these things do happen.

@@misfyresalot Really? We are talking the 99% pre trib rapture crowd. Just like LDS, many are falling away and believe in easy salvation and no hardship end times.
The true believers of all Christendom are seeing these signs and preparing for the hardships ahead. Young men will dream dreams and old men will see visions as the scriptures say. Only the luckiest (chosen) and the working righteous will make it to the millennium if these hardships escalate before His coming.

We are torn. Our house was made in the 50’s out of cinder block. Of course it isn’t reinforced, and I have no reason to believe it would survive much of an earthquake at all. We also, both me and my wife, have had dreams of tornadoes and an earthquake in the valley large enough do destroy most everything, and open the ground causing the aquifer to flood the whole valley, and everyone had to flee into the mountains. Do you spend the money to rebuild your home, or just get the essentials necessary for survival. Hope to get more inspiration on this sooner than later

This "urgency" to receive personal revelation is not new. Brigham Young (Journal of Discourses) spoke of the importance for the Saints to have the guidance of the Holy Ghost. And, I am guessing that personal revelation comes through the Holy Ghost, but maybe I am wrong.
You are correct. It does come through the holy ghost.
Just my impression and my opinion, but I do not believe that the Second Coming will occur for about 30 to maybe 50 years yet. Yes, things can happen very quickly, but there is yet so much that needs to occur first, in my opinion.
While this is a very personal thing to discern, the Savior has told us that the righteous will be watching and will not be caught unawares, so you have the ability to pray about it and ask about proximity. Helpful to that is to look with eyes to see and ears to hear what the prophets have been saying about proximity and ROLE and RESPONSIBILITY to be part of ushering in His coming, a few here to read closely as you pray and prepare:
“One crucial element of this gathering is preparing a people who are
able, ready, and worthy to receive the Lord when He comes again, a people who have
already chosen Jesus Christ over this fallen world, a people who rejoice in their agency
to live the higher, holier laws of Jesus Christ.
I call upon YOU, my dear brothers and sisters, to become this righteous people.

WE have a responsibility to prepare the Church of the Lamb of God to receive the Lamb
of God-in person, in triumphant glory, in His millennial role as Lord of lords and King of

This is insane. We have been looking for sign for centuries and anything that looks similar to the cryptic Bible verses hits the mark. We need to stop hoping for tragedy and enjoy the life we have.
You are insane to not understand the scriptures and the signs of the times. Just the wars in Eastern Europe, middle east, Africa, and preparations in Asia are enough to make logical people of the world prepare for upcoming hardships.

If ye are prepared ye shall not fear. The opposite is also true.
I don't believe the Red hefer sacrifice will fulfill prophecy in Malachi 3:3. No unclean or non priesthood holder can offer this in righteousness. They will have to be baptized first. Also, this can't happen without the authority of the Melchizedek Priesthood. My guess Malachi 3:3 will be fulfilled at New Jerusalem.
Read Pres. Smith’s quote closely as it relates to the Levites, in Israel: “We are living in the dispensation of the fullness of times into which all things are to be gathered, and all things are to be restored since the beginning. Even this earth is to be restored to the condition which prevailed before Adam’s transgression. Now in the nature of things, the law of sacrifice will have to be restored, or all things which were decreed by the Lord would not be restored. It will be necessary, therefore, for the sons of Levi, who offered the blood sacrifices anciently in Israel, to offer such a sacrifice again to round out and complete this ordinance in this dispensation. Sacrifice by the shedding of blood was instituted in the days of Adam and of necessity will have to be restored.
“The sacrifice of animals will be done to complete the restoration when the temple spoken of is built; at the beginning of the millennium, or in the restoration, blood sacrifices will be performed long enough to complete the fulness of the restoration in this dispensation. Afterwards sacrifice will be of some other character.” (Joseph Fielding Smith, DS 3:93-94.)
@@kcmattp it doesn't say they will be offered in Israel but they where done anciently in Isreal. This will have to be done by those in the Savior's church and who hold the priesthood:
"It will be necessary here to make a few observations on the doctrine set forth in the above quotation, and it is generally supposed that sacrifice was entirely done away when the Great Sacrifice the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus was offered up, and that there will be no necessity for the ordinance of sacrifice in future; but those who assert this are certainly not acquainted with the duties, privileges and authority of the Priesthood, or with the Prophets.
The offering of sacrifice has ever been connected and forms a part of the duties of the Priesthood. It began with the Priesthood, and will be continued until after the coming of Christ, from generation to generation. We frequently have mention made of the offering of sacrifice by the servants of the Most High in ancient days, prior to the law of Moses; which ordinances will be continued when the Priesthood is restored with all its authority, power and blessings." ( TPJS 171, 172)
Joseph Fielding specifically referred to “the sons of Levi, who offered the blood sacrifices in Israel.” These are literal descendants of Levi, even though they do not have priesthood power to perform ordinances (which is precisely what Joseph Smith was referencing in the quote you cited), they have the ability to perform this ritual by lineage. We shall see.
@@kcmattp They have the right to officiate in the priesthood if they have been baptized and given the priesthood by one who has the priesthood. I know of no nonmember thst has ever been given the right to officiate in the priesthood. We're does a prophet say those not of our church can officiate in the priesthood ordances. This Ideas seems contrary to the church and section 107.
You misread my response. We are not talking about ordinances here, but about a ritual sacrifice as offering. Joseph Fielding Smith’s quote speaks directly to this, not Joseph Smith’s comment you included. It’s alright though, we can just let things play out and see what the Lord has in store.

True Latter Day Saints have moved beyond burnt sacrifices and a third temple built by unhallowed hands who continue to crucify the Lord because they know Him not and seek to institute that which was fulfilled by Him. They do these things because their sins remain
