I had the same reaction when someone told me JP FanFest was going to be in the Tokyo Dome. That is utterly insane.

I hope the Ishgardian Clergy are gonna be forgiving when I defeat Halone though given the fact that I’m a DRK main already doesn’t help my case
I mean, technically Halone is testing you just like what the ye ol knights of the round did to you when you were in Ishgard during 3.0.
@@bl00dm0urne Well, the Knights of the Round were the villains of the initial story of Heavensward, so they weren't really testing you, but trying to kill you.

I'd like the ability to have glasses and wings out while in combat. I understand not fighting with an umbrella, but the wings and glasses don't occupy your hands
Oh god, finally a blue UI theme that actually doesn't hurt to look at! I wanted to use the classic theme so much, but man, that brightness was not good for my eyes.
Keeping my dots active was actually really fun as a Paladin. I’ll miss the way the class used to be. Curious about the changes though.
My guess for the pink elephant mount is actually from Excitatron 6000? It's mask is the same as some decorations from there.
"Designing for multiple weapon completions" could imply having a lot more one-time large grinds rather than a ton of individual weapon quests.
not a fan of how DoTs are disappearing from the game, I love applying DoTs, give us a DoT job

Summoner has changed. There are no more dot jobs
“DoTs don’t work under our two minute window” is probably the excuse.

With the Rave Elephant and the Allagan Node, I’m gonna go out on a whim and say that the Node will be the Potsherd Trade in mount.
And that Rave Elephant will be the Pegasus/Dodo level mount. And that somewhere, on 91-100 we’ll just see a Rave patrolling towards us like the Dodo.
Finally the train minion will allow me to finally see a train on the central thanalan tracks
we do see nymeia in the trailer and in the raid itself, so my bet is the second boss is her and althyk(hence why they didnt show it at all) and the last tier will have a surprise final boss
The raid gear images are in order: tanking, maiming, striking, ranged, scouting, healing and casting. The translator and image poster got a little out of order with each other.
I'm glad they're addressing the "Block" mechanic on Holy Sheltron. Block in general is just flavor with Sheltron and Passage of Arms as opposed to just making it flat mitigation like Rampart and Sentinel are. I get it has a shield, but at this point in the game, it's a hold over as they probably can't make the PLD weapons "two-hand" set like NIN/ROG weapons.
For the 10th anniversary we should get a Wind Up Director/Yoshi P.

Im thinking the goring blade combo will give you 'divine might' while the other gives you 'atonement'. You do the former to get a quick spell cast, then the other to recover the MP. It also wouldn't make sense to give them a second buff considering "fight or flight" is still a thing, though I guess we'll have to see how all this interacts with the proper requiescat combo.

I hope they post a video on the lodestone on January 9th detailing the PLD changes with gameplay.
Anybody else hoping that this new deep dungeon will have access to giving the memories needed for resistance weapons? We're all going to be trying it once or twice, might be nice to get something from it.
I think it's very interesting that Nymeia shows up in the fight with Althyk and makes me wonder if she's not gonna have a fight of her own at all...

|| Omg guys i finally understand that Godbert cameo… and you would not believe me… remember how in Potd and Hoh we can transform into pther creatures and succubus? They will allow us to transform into Eorzeas most powerful being Godbert himself in Eureka Orthos… we can become godbert and use 1% of his power to do the deep dungeon||
I really hope Deep Dungeon will have worthwhile rewards. The hairstyle is a bit meh, tbh. So here's hoping they are a bit more generous with rewards for a new content of the patch.
...I'm worried about the pally rework...it didnt need a rework and my fear is that they felt it wasnt enough like the other tanks leads to further job hominization
Yeah, I didn't like losing the Damage over Time for Goring Blade. In the chat people were asking what was the point of doing the Goring Blade comb now?
@@Violent_Wolfen Unless the "Divine might" buff is limited to Goring Blade, I'm guessing this is the first preparatory step for getting rid of it in the next expansion to make room for a new ability or skill.

What is "Divine Might"? I have combed the FF14 website job guidr for PLD and couldnt find that name at all. Is that just JP name version changed to english version?
I did the same thing, it turns out Divine Might is a new ability/buff/status, or somethingorother.
it's a new effect from finishing a weapon combo that essentially gives you a stack of Requiscat for holy spirit.

We're fighting 5 of the 12 this time. There are scenes of 5 fighting in the raid and 5 standing side by side in the trailer. So this confuses me. Maybe we fight all at once as the final boss after Oschan?
My guess is Oschon is second to last, and then we have the true final... Whatever is behind the mysterious pavilion
So in DD you have a full PT when everyone uses it right LOL if that waspossible, I wonder if everyone gets a bunshin or only one who used it that's so funny.

I should know this by now... but so sick of all the healer/caster dresses.... Its like they think anyone playing a male toon couldn't possibly also play a casting job.

@@CidemNK thing is.... there are TONS of robes in the game already. But some of those scouting sets would make perfectly fine casting styles as well. Even just the one in this video would have been great as an alternative that isn't just a big dress.
I hate most casting gear because of how dress-y it is, but also because my feet clip through it while running.
I would like to see Minwu's gear from FFII as the next WHM artifact gear. He is the only canonical male white mage in FF history (unless you count the evil bishops from Tactics as white mages) and it would be a really nice change of style for the job, I bet even folks with female WoLs would appreciate it.

Minwu's gear would be very fitting especially from Thavnair... but the problem is it's still just more robes/dresses.
It has taken far too long for deep dungeon to come out
It is kinda sad how some got banned or suspended for features that SE was so quickly able to add into the game. :( Also, the add duplicate items to retainer will be nice for after doing treasure maps. Now I don't have to move the materia that drops one by one.
