Thank you, Marc. You did right by this product, showing how it is packaged and used in an objective and clear way. I think you should do more product reviews. I enjoyed this.
Chantmagick I tried to be fair and unbiased, glad to hear I did it justice. I'd like to do more!
Your videos are put together very well. Nice work :)
Nick Wilson thank you my friend! Cheers!
Thanks!
I've never seen the 'bicycle pump" style corkscrew before. I was impressed despite it being more than just a novel idea. (They should be endorsing you on this one, Marc!)
What I like about it--if the cork is a bit dry it's not going to leave little chunks in the bottle while battling to get it out. On many occasions, I've had that happen to me with
traditional corkscrews. Of course I will continue to keep a "waiter's friend" in my glove compartment for those times you show up at a party and there isn't a corkscrew to
be had. When my mom calls and asks what I want for my birthday, thanks to you, I can give her a lead.
Cheers,
Darryl
My dad had one 50 years ago but people are too lazy to pump it nowerdays
Thanks a lot😅 you help me so much
Thank you!!!
What's your favorite way to get a bottle of wine open? Would you try this new gadget? Post below.
After breaking many of a wine openers and lots of hand-injuries we've found a perfectly working screw pull: bit.ly/2IB4wjb. You just keep turning clockwise until a cork pops-out effortlessly. :-D
One technical thing, you had said the first two required some muscle. I want to say, pumping up and down requires some 💪
Thank you that was really great information. But I do have a bit of a concerne with spending 69.99 and knowing that quite a few bottles in the market have a nylon cork.
That's understandable. I get my product samples for free, so I was a bit shocked when I learned the price, too. It's a bit much for the average consumer.
Man, you do not have enough subscribers for the amount of work you put into your videos! A damn shame!
Stephen Knoth thanks for that. I do put a lot into these. All in time, my friend...
I have to agree with you, Stephen. I stumbled upon Marc's blog during the wee hours of the night and have watched several of his
commentaries. How could I not subscribe--I liked his material. Yes, I'm shocked that he doesn't have more followers. I guess our
way to help is basically spreading the word. Cheers,
Darryl Racine
Did you open an older cork Wirth it? That was my first thought as a potential big benefit.
Louis, yes I'd say that's probably the biggest benefit to using this. It's good if you have a fragile cork and need to get it out without breaking!
So how do you take it off (the second one)
Lucas you can just pull it out.
Mine has never worked. I can sit here and pump this bottle all day. It’s a great arm workout though.
I am so happy I read the reviews all the way down. I was just getting ready to buy 15 of them for Christmas gifts. Looks like the company can't fulfill their orders.
For old corks this doesn't sound bad.. I haven't tried that other tool with the two pins.. Do you know it?
Christiaan Haesen yes, it's called the ah-so, and I don't like to use it because I've actually broken the glass off the top of the bottle with them. They push the glass outward sometimes.
This is just the Cork Genius -the aerator, and instead give you 2 extra vacuum corks (for whatever reason)
Our needle filled with cork the first time then never worked again
I want to see that opener attempting a 30 year old wine.
You dont have the aerator?
Not in this kit, Jacob. For whatever reason. I think I would have preferred that to the stoppers, personally...
I ordered 1 for $39.95 but after 40+ days have not received it and they have not answered emails
Do you want me send you mine? I only used it once. Send me your private info via wineliving.info and I'll mail it to you. They never responded to me either; I'll take this video down. I won't support products that cheat or lie.
I ordered several for all of my real estate clients 6 weeks ago for Christmas gifts, and to date have not been able to contact the company. I'm a little worried about the validity of the company.
@@wine-living lol. 5 years later, and the video is still up
I ordered one last year and never received it, even after repeated attempts to contact them.
Thanks for letting me know. I should take this video down. Seems like they're not a very good company, based on the comments here.
@@wine-livingtake it down already
Wouldn't pop for me. Didn't work.
That is not new my dad had one 50 years ago i gave hin at xmas and it cost a 10 shillings (50p)
It is so obvious that you spliced the footage on the first 2 bottles. Why not let us see how long and how many pumps to open the bottle??
Remember It does not work on plastic corks
It does, but I wouldn't recommend it. It's hard to get that needle through those nylon stoppers. Cheers.
First, I wish you hadn't edited the sequences where you were demonstrating it. Why did you do that? It wasn't clear how many pumps were required. Why not show the unedited sequences? Second, I wish you would state clearly what consideration you are given for the review. Free product? Cash? Conditions attached? As it is, I can't give much credence to this review.
