The moment he mentioned they have Lebanese wine I knew he would pick out a Musar and describe it as a personal favorite. That winery is legendary. Sad so much of their stocks were lost in the Beirut explosion.
Its too preserve the labels from being damaged by moisture or fungus. Even though old labels may look cool it often decreases the value of a wine bottle when the label is damaged
Every time I see a wine cellar like this I think of Porthos of the Three Musketeers holed up in the wine cellars drunk out of his mind. Imagine the damage he could to this wine cellar!
Now you tell me you're in Torino ?? I've been in Torino last week, wonderful city, good food everywhere, had so many Barbaresco, Barolo, Amarone, & Prosecco in the afternoons, of course. Next time i'll look for Del Cambio.
Bro, they ain't keeping garbage weed in the most secure room of there cellar.😆😆 Those bottles of DRC are worth tens of thousands of dollars a piece!!! Weed, ain't got sshhh on those bottles. Cute, but you have no clue what your talking about, respectfully my dude.😎
It’s a high turnover cellar in a restaurant. He said in the video they are going through 1-2k bottles per month. With their stocks they would deplete the cellar in a couple years, so if anything they need to keep buying bottles to meet demand.
That’s not how it works for somms. They try most all of the wines, it’s their job. And somms have access to fine wines outside of the standard retail/restaurant model.
I dont even drink but I can appreciate the care and craft this must take not only to make but also maintain. This is simply amazing
Best part 9:15 lol .. He is like see huh? we got all the good stuff!
Where I rather be during quarantine!
I'm in love with this!!

I said the same thing. Musar is so good!!
I'm impressed with everything this guy knows
Thank you very much Rudy!
Added to my bucket list. Crazy choice of some of worlds best wines
Impressive! Frantasic tour, thank you.
Thanks!
Amazing collection and layout.
Awesome in every way.
Amazing collection
Thank you a wonderful tour... I would love to know the purpose of the plastic wrap on many of the bottles..?

Delicious selection 😁
Did you notice? All the most expensive bottles are stored crosswise, so that they may easily roll out of the shelf and break on the stone floor.
Or they store em that way so the cork doesn't dry out
Essa é a cave dos sonhos de qualquer enófilo!!!
The bottles sit so close to the edge!!! Oh lord. I would be like a bull in a china shop.
This would be an awesome to make a video. I cant even imagine the amazing Aroma in there.
There is the Aroma tempation to open some bottles
Sem dúvida,o aroma é de poeira 😂😂😂
Damn! Huge cellar.
19.000 bottles, 1.000 - 2.000 bottles of turnover per month. And an impressive cellar. That must be a full time job sourcing it!
Wine heaven right there..
il paradiso in terra!
Amazing

Can we actually drink a wine from 1930 for example or that bottles are only for private collections?
Every bottle there is on the menu
Unless those wines are liberated from the cellar and drank they're just collecting dust in a tomb
Magnificent
Imagine if there was an earthquake...
Nishant Jain 😂😭
yep
O lado bom de ter muito dinheiro , poder ter cultura e beber bons vinhos.
Wooooow barolo
Beste Italian Pizzeria
Drink something! 🍷
nothing from Portugal?!
wines have emotions ♥️
Holy shit, that’s millions of euro’s
Got any Cupcake down there?
Ice Man lol
Dude, not funny. They only store fine wines, like Barefoot Bubbly and Yellowtail.
no issue rapidly taking bottles to show off and placing them back??
No trouble. Wine isnt that fragile.
Why have cellars like this when this stuff will never be consumed?
They go through 2000 bottles per year
Huge bags of weed at 9:04

@@davidcaple6521I was kidding, of course it’s not but hey, I’d be okay with a splif and a bottle of Mouton Rothschild
@@davibrass haha you gote bro🤙🤙 hilarious 😂
Visit here and you'll not drunk by alcohol but by name.haha
I want to die and wake up there
Why hoard all this wine, if so much is going to be oxidized?

Enikku oru 10 ennaam tharamoo!??
I cringe every time he picks a bottle up. Its a delicacy you should handle the bottles more carefully.
Wine isnt like a Newborn baby. Wait. Even a Newborn isnt that fragile.
Dont worry.
That’s where romanticism comes to play...
I pity this man, he is like work in jail, forced to smile n served to riches, explained like he know wines but can’t afford to even drink a bottle..

Aren’t these old wine will go bad after aging in the cellar for so long? What a waste of good wine.
No, most of these are built to last many decades. And most will probably be consumed within a year or two anyways.
