Which seats did you get and how comfortable are they? You look tall like me. Oh, and I too have not welded since high school, but just bought a welder to start again…because of the seats. Granted, High school was 42 years ago for me.
We got Corbeau Moab seats. They are way better than the stock seats, but not as comfy as super high end seats. I’m 6’4” and head doesn’t touch the ceiling! Awesome that you’re getting back into welding- it’s like riding a bike😂
Thanks for the update. Talk about a snowball effect. ❄ I've seen a few Overland rigs that go next level on the dash , overhead console, and center console. Ie. Mike @travetheglobe 😊😊 Will you be doing the something similar? Any idea on the box design yet? We are looking at Globe Trekker for our build. Very strong panels and subframe.
Thanks! Yeah, some of the cabs get crazy! We'll be building a center console/armrest to store some camera gear in, and double as a dog seat, but I doubt we'll do more than that. The backup cam, tire pressure gauge and carplay stereo are already enough screens for us, so I doubt we'll desire to add too much more. Yeah, we've got a box design- not using Globe Trekker, but we've heard great things! We're actually working on a video describing our box design now, should be out in a week or two!

We've changed our layout multiple times. Theme still similar but chassis has changed a few times.
