I'm here after Kobe's passing for some reason. It's giving me peace.
So glad this video is giving you comfort & peace! We are all in shock, mourning, and disbelief. This is indeed a sad day
Same. This video just popped up.
Same 😢💯💪🏾💪🏾
Me too
Mervin Morgan, Jr. God bless
It's so weird to find out that all the sounds I used to make growing up are actually technical skills. Parents: Stop telling your children to shut up.
Exactly my thoughts. These are just weird noises we make as children? I'm not a trained vocalist, but I wasn't exactly impressed.. . Except for R Allen & the sister @ 06:38.
Right
😂😂😂
I love when Karen Clark - Sheard does her human echoes
I love when Karen clark-sheard
The best!!!!!!!
Rance it’s like stepping into hot water and when it finally becomes just right .
U a mess🤣🤣
😂😂🤣
I'm so glad to be BLACK, we are the shit!
Bio Bot Stupido
@@biobot4967 shut up
Bio Bot wow that’s was very dirty😒
I finally found a music channel that showcases black singers yussss
😩❤❤❤
I laughed at the Luther thing once and my mom threatened to take me out of her will.
😂😂😂😂😂
💀💀💀😆😆😆
Im with you lol mama wlda had to keep her bags
😭😭😭😫😫😫😪😪😪😯😯😯😴😴😴😴
SCREAMINGGGGGGG
All Black, all excellent. We SING !
No ma'am.....we SANG and call heaven to earth!
@@lovebug6388 Yes ma'am ! 🤣
Rachelle is a vocal beast with an enormous gift!
Black singers are the best!! Love from the Philippines. ^_^
Johnathan McReynolds WOW. My mouth is on the floor. Just beautiful
Curteous Gemini agreed. His voice is amazing!
@Kudio j. Hall I love Ella and Billie. Never heard of Pearlie. I'll give her a listen.
I think Rachelle never became a mainstream vocalist because even though she could essentially do whatever she wants with her voice, her musicality wasn't palatable to the masses.
Yep. The way music is consumed today is all wrong. People want something bland and anemic to listen to while driving to work. Play some Rachelle and somebody would crash their car.
Or maybe she didnt care to appeal to the masses?
lalagonegaga 😂😂
I swear I see your profile everywhere. RUclips must think we are the same person 😂😂😂
@@lalagonegaga looool
Proving that the human voice is the number one musical instrument! 😍 Some of you are complaining that this isn't singing....the voice is a musical instrument and you can play with it to make many sounds. That's like telling a guitarist he shouldn't do finger-picking or sliding or slapping. There are many ways to make music.
2:30 If I attended that church I would've thought he was having a stroke 😩
I see you under literally every music based video I watch, I feel like we have the same taste or something 😭
@@Xander-gj6su True, or maybe I'm low-key stalking you 👀
Jk 😂
Xavier Same!! I see him EVERYWHERE!!
Omg😫🤣
😂Everytime I see your profile in singing videos I know it's gonna be shady 🤣💀
the ending of the video, I"m done, Lay me at the throne leave me there, has me crying😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lord, why do I always find these videos just before bedtime...now I'm up!!
Lala Hathaway's Polyphonic note sounds like a ghost😂😂😂😂😂
There are others who do it and it sounds amazing
I thought she was harmonizing her layers, I never knew her 1 note was doing all of that
Luther's ghost notes were inspired from Aretha. She started it back in the mid 70s.
Right! My first time hearing her do it was at the end of the song As Long As You Are There from her 1975 Album You.
@@missya9103 Yep! Prior to that, she did at the 1975 Grammys for Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing
@@midnitesky She sure did. I forgot about that performance.
Rachell Ferrell is a musical beast!
Cookies are good to eat not then faith evans dont no one wanna see faith her voice is angelic soulful and skilled
“BAHUUUM” took me out lol
Most of these "weird things" are pretty normal here in South Africa because of the different cultures we have
Not really... No.
Lalah giving me straight shivers. That’s insane talent
Those "ghost runs" luther was doing, was actually started by aretha by mid 70s.
Yes
Karen is a beast. Hands down ❤️
LeCresia was a vocal powerhouse! Hearing her in worship live is the 8th Wonder of the World
I'm so hooked on this woman it's insane 😭😭😭🤧 A powerhouse
Rachelle Ferrell is not a “great vocalist.” She’s a vocal beast, half-voice, half-machine, unprecedented and incomparable.
FACTS. That clip of her is from the 2010 Soul Train Awards during the Anita Baker Tribute. Can't tell you HOW MANY TIMES I've watched that. Her & Lalah Hathaway give me goosebumps every time!
BossTeamEntertainment going to it right now, and THANK YOU for reminding!,🙏🏾🙏🏾
@@bossteamentertainment6836 I can honestly say I watch that show every Saturday. Kem could not deal!🤣🤣
😅😅😅
Lol I was waiting for the scene in Sister Act 2 when the boy hit that high note singing “Oh Happy Day”
Karen's echoes are from another world
Luther got those ghost runs from
Aretha
That Rarschelle Ferrell is the real thing........
Clark sister really made a mark with A LOT OF SINGERS
Le Cresia Campbell singing Magnify? It just caves in everything within me from the inside, "MY LORD"!!😮
I love when vocalist play around with their voices😂😂😂
Our people can do amazing things
There’s a difference between being a singer and a vocalist. Clearly most of y’all are accustomed to hearing singing and not vocalization. 😭
My God those Clark sisters though, YES I love And of course there will never be anyone close to The great Luthor Vandross. What blessing they all are and a what a blessing that we can hear them.
Karen, Lahlah, Keke,Cressia, Jonathan all had me shook like Are they even humans? but as for the rest, well, They should go collect their ovation somewhere else!
Rance is so geekin lmao he really be playin around with it
Karen Clark is amazing!!!!!!😍😍😍😍
Ke ke Wyatt should have been on this
Most sounds like birds, dolphins or wind. Nature sounds!
When I am singing it sounds more like a windows '95 computer conecting with (phone) internet.
THIS HAS TICKLED MEEEEEE
the first woman sound like a bird with those bird sounds she's making.
Team Yakis 😂🤣
Twinkie with them stutters
I know right
The echoes were literally the best😮😮😮
Dorinda Clark Cole should’ve been mentioned also for her unique jazz phrasing and repetition/ stutter melisma
Karen Clark Sheard excites me 😆
Luthor vibrates his whole body with those ooohs..
Ok but Klaren Clark..... C'MON NOW!!! YES LAWD!!!🔥🔥🔥🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾❤️❤️❤️
Luther’s glissandos were an imitation of Aretha. She was doing them first.
Yes that's very true
I do not know why Rachelle Ferrell is so underated
That type of singing she does would not get a lot of mainstream attention or reaction.
At present, many of these iconic vocalists are being imitated!!!!
Deacon Davis I’ve said for years that Beyoncé has made her career out of trying to sound like The Clark Sisters but she lacks the talent and skill to do so thereby sounding silly and forced in her vocal performances.
Paula’s Universe * Ain’t that the truth!!!
Paula’s Universe * how ?? What Beyoncé song do you hear her vocals do that ?
Chante Moore has a unique sound she does with her voice at the end or during certain songs. It sounds like a high whistle. She's another excellent vocalist who should be added to this list.
Head voice is what it's called
You forgot Minnie Ripperton's Whistle register notes ruclips.net/video/K7MqTrXwojk/видео.html
Yes, the Pioneer! Before Mariah , Chante Moore, Christina Aguilera were even born
Even like this. Mariah is so much better doing whistles
@@filipecastro1652 Yes, Mariah Most def perfected it! The Pioneer deserves the title , Minnie Ripperton
@@KENTURNERSINGS She's inspired Mimi for sure
That right
Some of the great vocalist of this time. Rachelle Ferrell, and of course Karen Clark
2:30 If it was my first time in that church, I would think that Rance was having some kind of stroke 😥
LOL 😂😂😂
Jonathan McReynolds ♥️♥️♥️
Rachelle Ferrell is my fave female vocalist of all time!
That lady singing with the opera is something else
Lecresia Campbell 🔥🔥🔥😭
Lemme go practice this is the car real quick
No outside
🤣🤣🤣
Sorry but its called black soul music for a reason not everybody can relate LOL!
Kiki is every bit of her aunt Twinke to me...
Watch this while you’re high , funniest 😂 shit ever
🙋I'm not high at all & I'm crackin tf up💯😭😭😭😭😂😂😂😂😂❤
especially the man at 2:20 ...and then he stood there bend over like "...uhhh.. what r u up to?? r u waiting for something??"
@@bossteamentertainment6836 😭😭😭
@@Mariahidol 😭😭😭😭
I think Tonex's voice is unique too..He definitely deserves to be put on this list!!
Yasaaaaas!!
I Convinced Lala Hathaway vocal chords from another dimension.
Rachelle Farrell is a goddess!!!!!!!!
KARENS ECHO 🙌🏾❤️
These singers are masters! No matter the octave you can hear the distinctive words.
My son could sing like Rance Allen when he was 10 months old
Girl your comments are so funny !!
😂😂😂
How the fuck yall dont got Patti labelle walking away from microphones and still being heard
Cause she just loud she really doesnt do anything vocally challenging
@@Destined36 u know u lying patti hits notes and belt notes
@@TheBoss-vm7eh my point exactly and what else?
@@Destined36 u don't know about singing if u think that's just being loud or screaming
@@TheBoss-vm7eh Ain't nobody saying P. Labelle doesn't rock! However she is not a singer who does intricate techniques vocally! She is a belter with extremely high range , that has darkened over the yrs. She does not run, skat, hit notes in whistle registry, her lower range definitely isn't her strong suite, no sticatto passages ... NOTHING TECHNICAL! Her only advantage is that she is a dramatic soprano therefore, her voice has [ or should I say HAD] a lot of weight with a large volume output!
U obviously dont know anything about vocals if you think she belongs in this list of singers. Its not a bad thing, she just isn't one that uses acrobats vocally ... she doesn't need to! Patti knows how to stay in her lane. If this post was a reflection about : high notes, belting, and power she would definitely fit BUT ITS NOT!
THESE VOICES IN HEAVEN SHALL AND WILL REJOICE AND MS KAREN CLARK SHEARD SHOOK THE BUILDING
Karen Clark Sheard - AWESOME 👏🏻
Crazy thing is ... artist are ( real artist) they paint their music, tones, Uniqueness with the paint brush God gave them... its their expression...
Small close minded ppl will never understand the world of art an expression!!!
BLACK EXCELLENCE!!!!!!
Rance makes me lose my mind
AND WE ALL BLACK 💃
PERIOD!
Btw you can’t just scat out of nowhere you gotta feel it
Black People MAGIC.
The dual voice, the trompet, the echo and luther vandross are unique and amaze me they really sing..the rest are just like animal sound..
lmfaoooo i swear i love being Black 😂
we’re so extra & expressive ❤️❤️❤️
I love me some Callie Day!!
Yesssssssss
I was about to be mad at that video til I watched the ending.
Chantae Moore is a beast! Definitely should’ve been included
BISHOP RANCE!!!!!!!!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾😮💨 God rest his beautiful soul♥️
Oh my gosh I want to meet Layla Hathaway sooo bad because I can do the same thing....it happened by accident. I didn't know other people could produce more than one note at a time!
I saw her perform live front row lol. I also stumbled across the ability to do that and thought I was just tweaking until she did it on the Snarky Puppy song 'Something'.
*Lalah 😅
Oh LeCresia we miss you a lot. 😥😥
For real music was born in AFRICA no doubt.
Yeh, they are my favourite aliens
RESPECT TWINKIE,
Personally wouldn't have put the Reynolds guy in this circuit...but this was awesome.....Bryan Wilson...Kim Burrel....B Slade....Bobby Mcferrin
I was expecting that guy form Pentatonix to be in this vid, he can sing 2 notes at the same time
Or something. This sounds terrible
👁👁👀👁👁 I make some of these sounds doing everyday things like...stumping my toe, bumping into walls, getting excited, sex, crying, calming my temper.... Wow! I got talent!
I’m here for Mr.Vandross 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
The peacocks are *SHOOK* 🦉
My girls rachelle and lalah
Somebody forgot about Lisa Fischer.
2:36 that C5. It's rare to hear male gospel/soul singers have that level of balance in mix. Especially in the 5th octave.
He can do that sorta sound up to an E5. And mix overall up to a D above that.
Gotta love the face he makes while hitting that :D
Gospel is a mix of opera
Yesssss Rachael Farrell yesss!! I’ve always loved her
i'm convinced the 2nd lady.. was the voiceover of the little boy on Thorneberrys
Yes thats queen rachelle Ferrell
Lecrecia Campbell was so underrated.
I must've listened to Magnify a thousand times in two months 🔥🔥 Her delivery and vocal ability is outrageous 😭😭😭 I only listen to the extended version cause I need all of what she puts out 11:56 minutes of it
Where is b Slade he does a trumpet sound with his voice also ..and what about Leandra Johnson whistle bird singing thing that she does lol
Lala and Rachelle🥰
Jonathan, simply divine
Omg.. I literally just put someone on to Lucresia Campbell’s “Even Me” the other day. I love Daryls and Yolandas but this rendition was very much overlooked
Auntie Twinkie, Uncle Rance , Auntie Karen , and Jonathan McReynolds
