The Black Church Choir & Singers! It is true Karen Clark- Sheard is known for all those vocal scales and runs! And she can sing!But, vocally it can be way too much on the vocal chords as the years pass! And it can be quite boring and redundant to listen to after awhile! Especially, for professional musicians like me, who are also professional singers! A rare combination, even by todays standards! I coach people to sing in other languages, also! German, Italian, French, Spanish and English!Several Music Genres! Jazz, Classical, Blues, Pop, Musixal Theater etc! I suspect all the Clark Sisters have had some vocal professional training over the years! Hopefully, since they have been singing for such a long. long time they will continue to preserve their voices, even in the midst of all the excitement they create for the crowds of black church people and the world! I am a well known professional vocal coach who understands the physiology of the voice and how to use the best healthy singing techniques into old age! All professional singers and want to be pro-singers must have a once a year exam from a throat doctor! Those doctors check for nodules on the vocal chords! A lot of singers get them from over singing and not giving the vocal chords enough time to rest! I believe gospel singers, in particular, need the best vocal education they can get! Although professional coaches of my calibre are very, very expensive! Choir musicians in the black church usually teach the choirs the songs by the out dated method of pounding vocal melody parts out on the piano! This method does a lot of vocal damage and unecessary wear and tear on the vocal chords over the years! People spend their lives dedicated to church and its music, and yet, the church and choir directors don't think enough of the choir members loyalty and dedication to at least spend a few minutes during choir rehearsal on music education for the entire choir! At least teaching all choir members how to read their own vocal parts and how to take care of their voices! Choir members can eventually learn to read their own notes! And not overuse their voices unnecessarily! Thereby, preserving their voices for years to come!:But, I suspect the old and outdated practice of pounding out the notes on the piano will continue, particularly in the black church, as long as choir directors want to stay in control and remain the center of attraction! They seem to want to keep choir members musically uneducated and depending on them for every note! Especially, if the choir directors are gay! They love showing off, flitting around and being the center of attraction! And the down -low, under-cover men (many are married) just love watching those gay choir directors sashaying around every Sunday! So, I am not suprised that the black church has never, mever denounced the gay agenda that has seeped into every crevice of our modern day society! When will the Real Church Stand Up?

The only thing I can say is that some of y'all might remember a young Karen with her Sisters. She was so shy that she would never speak up or cry out and talk to an audience. When her sisters would get mad at her she'd respond, "I don't know what to say..." Well...look at God! She sure knows what to say now! She's a beauty and I'm not even talking about outer (although she clearly as that too).
