- In Episode 3 we are in the beautiful town of Rudesheim where we visit a very interesting museum and show you what else this interesting town in Germany has to offer. We also start our Avalon Vista Tour and show you the Club Lounge and Sky Deck on this lovely river cruise ship.
We cruised on Avalon Vista in October 2022 on the Romantic Rhine Cruise Itinerary visiting Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Cologne, Rudesheim, Mainz in Germany, Strasbourg and Breisach in France.

@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel did they point out 2 bridge turrets 1 on each side of the river, just after you left Cologne, that was the Bridge at Remagen that was bombed by the US in WW2

We went to rudesheim 3 years ago just before Covid hit. Loved it we took the cable car to the top and had one of the special coffees at the top that the waiter brought everything to the table and made it for us. Was fabulous a real experience. We did the same cruise as this with Riviera cruises. Loved all the stops looking to do the Danube with saga in 2024.

Heavens ! That museum. I was there a couple of weeks ago ( Emerald). I lasted 5 minutes in there. Claustrophobic and too noisy 😂.

We’re here on Friday and will be visiting the museum as there’s nothing else to do, even though we’ve been before….my wife several times.
Alas we’re here before the WC starts so the Logo Bar will have to survive without me.
I’ll be honest we were disappointed with the furniture of the sun deck, for a premium outfit at a premium price I’d have expected more comfortable chairs.
We like the bed facing the window, more should do that.
With what they charge I’d have expected it to be AI like APT and Scenic.
Understand your points about the all inclusive and beds. Enjoy your time there! 😃
