can you PLEASE do a full video about this lens specufically on the a6700, i recently bought the a6700 and am considering this lense, how is it?? Do you shoot weddings with it??
it's the only way to get the best image quality possible. You get rid of any distortion and aberration since you get the center of the lens covering the whole aps-c sensor. And because the lens has a wider light threshold the bokeh will get close to that of a full frame camera. The only inconvenient is that it makes no sense to place a standard wide angle FX lens on a DX format sensor and expect stuff to look wide angle. There are APS-C lenses for that though.
@@Rickyp0123I was wondering about your lens combo with this a6700. Am trying to decide if I want a Sony a 9 or Sony a 6700 with that 200-600 Sony lens.
Thats the f4 they dont have the macro in the 2.8 and also can tell because the 2.8 is internal zoom, so the lens stays the same size and the f4 the lens changes its length when zooming out
@@robertdoyle8972false, f2.8 focus distance is 40cm. F4 version II is 26 cm. And the old f4 had internal zoom. The new one extends. All this info is just a couple of clicks online. Why say something if you don’t know is accurate. And is highly confusing
Of course! It's actually a tripod strap, not a bag. Here's a link if you want to check it out - bit.ly/3BnoCOM. It's super useful and I find it a lot more comfortable then the tripod strapped to my bag. Hope this helps 😊
It's great. The quality of the picture depends on your skill and the quality of your lens. Better invest the money on the lens. I have the A6700 and it is very good.

A viewfinder is the small window of old or professional camera where you look through with one eye. The 6700 doesnt have that built-in @@WilkinsonCameras
@@cutecoots we know what a viewfinder is 😂 What we don’t know is what the OP was asking us. The question is ambiguous. The Sony A6700 does have a viewfinder built in. It’s an OLED EVF (Electronic viewfinders are the standard now and therefore the terms “EVF”, “electronic viewfinder” and “viewfinder” are now used interchangeably.)
@@WilkinsonCameras okay. I know there are some which you can insert instead of the flash light "shoe" (at least in Germany we call it the Blitzschuh"? 🤣 Maybe He wanted to ask if you use an external one because you hold the camera low and it looked like you watch on the camera from above.
@@cutecoots we call that the “hotshoe” if has electrical contacts or a “coldshoe” if it’s just for holding things. “Blitzschuh” which I think would directly translate as “lightening shoe” makes a lot more sense though! We quite like your German nouns… they can be very literal! 😄
You're using Crop body with full lens and then capturing macro photography on a telephoto lens. Tell me you're pretending to be a photographer without telling me vibes.
🤣 your comment says that you’re probably not a photographer…. But we’d love to help you learn. The Sony 70-200mm Macro F4 G OSS II is designed to be used as a macro lens. It’s half-macro as standard, 0.7 with a 1.4x tele and full macro with a 2x. Macro capability and focal length are not linked. But also… why wouldn’t you use a full frame lens on a crop body? Lots of wildlife photographers rely on full frame lenses on crop bodies.
next lens on my list.
a6700 plus my Sony 55 mm 1.8 is amazing, I bet this lens would look fantastic! Next I want a 35 gmaster

Crop body with full lens... Have you encountered any inconveniences while using it?
I got the same combo, works well, just get like the simg 18-50 and you will be fully covered

Not at all! I use the 200-600 with the a6700 and it works great. The only downside is that a dedicated APS-C only lens would be smaller and lighter.

f4 or f2.8, which you this is better
2.8

Do you recommend buying a Sony a6700? How is the first camera for photo and video, and what lens universal zoom to take for it?

The macro capabilities in this lens is pretty incredible to be fair but the 70-200mm F2.8 II is also a beautiful lens AND with an F2.8 not F4!
how do you pack your tripod? I have the hardest time with that.
