- The Central Pacific region of Costa Rica spans along the central areas of the country’s Pacific coast, primarily in the Puntarenas province.
In recent years, the Central Pacific has undergone significant development, with luxury hotels, marinas, shopping centers, golf courses, and fine restaurants emerging as centers of tourism and expat living in the area.
Here are our thoughts on living in this region.

Thanks guys! Moving to the Central Pacific in 2-3 months! See y’all soon. Pura Vida!

You’ll get it soon Jeff! Pura Vida!
Thank you so much for this video! I am only a few weeks into my research, and this is one area that I keep getting drawn back to as being a good first area to explore for potential relocation. Hoping to make a first trip (of several) to start getting more comfortable with the idea of potentially making the leap.
Crocodiles first, POPS second. A Pura Vida day :)
Add a walk on the beach and I’m right there with you!
I’ve been researching since May, have visited twice and keep getting stalled on picking my favorite place to start. I do want warm and humidity all the time. Would love to chat 😊
Reach out - we'd love to set up a consultation (you can book that on our website as well)
