  • Check out this gemstone I found! Know as Dallasite, it is mostly found on the beaches of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. I had the most amazing day walking the beaches looking for the very best samples of this gemstone for my collection and to sell in my online rock store. www.danhurdprospecting.com

I was never much of a rockhound, mostly look for shells and sea glass, but this past fall I visited my daughter in Nova Scotia and we went to the beach in Blomidon Park. The amount of beautiful agate just lying around everywhere would turn anyone in to an amateur geologist. It's truly amazing, and apparently is being constantly refreshed by the famous Bay of Fundy tides. I don't know if you've ever gone, but if you haven't, you might want to consider adding it to your list of potential travels. You'd probably make an amazing video from it :D

If you're worried about the bass from wind you can filter the audio signal post-production with a multibrand compressor. Just do it selectively on the clips that have really bad wind and cut the bass completely off. It'll still sound windy but there won't be that loud woof woof sound in the bass range.
