Defend myself from criminals, defend myself from elected and appointed officials, defend myself from police, defend myself from prosecutors and judges. It's out of control, John. Thanks for all the info.😊
Now that's the spirit of 1776!!! It's all a bluff and they are depending on sheeple to comply with corrupt laws that they cannot enforce!!! Gonna get real for them real soon!!!
@@markpillori That ship has sailed and those trying to enforce anti constitutional laws will be dealt with as our founding fathers would deal with them!!! Your just another ankle grabber so assume position!!!
2 bags of garden lime per, and traceable proof is gone in 2 years. Except for teeth. One per river or lake crossed and they will never find enough to trace. Hillbilly law is very effective.
I was a long time member of USCCA, and recently switched to Attorneys On Retainer! The number one rule of insurance companies is to deny the claim! That’s why we switched to actual attorneys that can help in a self defense case! Even if you have broken the local law, they will defend you! God Bless, and always carry!
I'm a truck driver and carried for many years , you need to know every states laws and regulations, its complicated, also have to remember type of ammo and magazine capacity laws in some states
This is the problem with gun laws. We have a constitutional right to keep and bear arms. There is no "right" to have a drivers lic yet anyone in one state can drive in any other wo worrying about whether or not their state lic is good in another state. WHY THE HELL CAN'T WE GET THIS FOR OUR RIGHT TO CARRY! It's infuriating what one has to go thru to try and be legal to travel across the country. We need to have a national carry lic. so that citizens who can carry have the right to carry in all states, counties, and towns. It's absurd how many loops you have to jump through to go across this country and still be able to carry.
@@lovematters7122 Criminals are going to be criminals and not care about any of the laws. When you impose laws upon the law abiding citizens, you are depriving us of our right and allowing the criminals to carry firearms while we are stripped of our defensive capability.
A guy from NH was arrested in Massachusetts for carrying a concealed hand gun , when he went to court the judge ruled " law against carrying guns across state lines unconstitutional " He used other constitutional rights as examples, you don't lose any other rights while traveling why should you lose the right to carry !!!
@@TheDesertwalker I am ,, I live in NC for 23 years. Carry always, 1 in the pipe. The Constitution of the United States has the 2nd amendment for “ARMS”.
I’d have to say I totally agree with you! You would be a fool not to have one! Some areas I have ran across Bear and Cougar! I’d rather have one and worry about the legal stuff later! Than not have one and be dead or a love one dead.
I was in fear for my life and could not move to back up. The suspect was in the RV before I woke up and he block the exit of the door and window. That would be my starting point>>>>But say nothing before a lawyer was in the room. Zero.
Hey there, not trying to be the fly in the ointment, but; USCCA has and will reject your request for coverage if they deem your “self defense” unlawful! They have a whole team of essentially insurance claims adjusters who review your claims and will reject and refuse to pay if your situation doesn’t seem legitimate!
Yeah, and those people in Nebraska (older couple at rest stop) wouldn't have been helped if their firearm was locked away while traveling. So stupid, these laws.
A simple question ... can I legally carry just a shotgun in my camping trailer across the country without the problems associated with concealed carry of small firearms? I have not been able to find answer.
Guys, come RV in Wyoming! Constitutional carry here in the last great state of the old United States. And we have Yellowstone and Teton National parks.
Constitutional carry here in NH too, but we prefer our tourists to bring money rather than guns. So I agree that you should all go to Wyoming instead. I had a great time there for the 2017 solar eclipse. Already too many tourists here, so we make sure you have to pay through the nose to sleep in your vehicle. We use local squatters to block some of the free places.
Hi there my wife and I are full time travelers we have been traveling for 15 years . As a Army vet i always figured I would rather be judge by 12 than carried by 6. Then we got our ccw and a good dog.
I'm in CA and just purchased a BYRNA pistol. It not a firearm, it is a non-lethal pellet gun & shot gun shells. They also have defense sprays. I have medical issues and I'm not comfortable firing my hand gun except if the BYNNA doesn't cause them to retreat. Made in America. Feels well made, I haven't practiced with it yet, but it is light weight compared to my fire arm.
It's in the Constitution which limits federal areas of power, and gives the rest to the States. But it also says that all states must honor the titles, deeds, and licenses of all other states, which only with gun laws doesn't happen.
I'm going to pose a question to you 2. Why would you trust your freedom to a insurance company that doesn't make money on your acquital? I would recommend Attorneys on Retainer.
I have my Cc in my state (Michigan) & practice regularly. MI is also an open carry state ( with restrictions). What’s crazy is even with my CC, when traveling in my car I Must have my ammo secured separately from my gun. So what am I supposed to say to someone trying to hijack my car . . Excuse me & give me a moment to Retreiver my magazine & load my gun????? Rediculous!!!!!!
If you're in your car, you're supposed to drive away, not shoot someone "trying to hijack" you. If you're not in your car, there is no gun/ammo separation problem. Until you actually pull the trigger, an empty gun can do anything that a loaded gun can do, as far as scaring off someone. And in the incredibly unlikely event that you're being shot at while in your car, hitting the gas is a way better idea than getting into a gun battle. Way too many people think of their guns as their best and only defense. It is never your only defense, and often is not your best defense. That definitely includes when you're in your car and someone is trying to get in. Fight or flight is an easy choice when flight will work and fight can get you killed. Everyone thinks they'll win a gun battle, even when they are taken by surprise by someone who has a head start on you. Just like everyone in the poker room thinks they're better than the other 9 players at the table. There are more fish than sharks, in both cases.
You need to re-read the law.Michigan law does not require you to keep ammo and pistol separated in your vehicle if you a valid CPL.A long gun is another story.Shotguns and rifles must be cased and unloaded for transport, but not a handgun if you have a valid CPL. If you doubt me feel free to stop by your local Police or Sheriff station and ask the desk officer.
Thank You, What states are you talking about ( that you wouldn't travel) ? I live in Wisconsin and I travel all over the midwest by myself and one thing I do or try to do is not draw attention to my self.
I know this for a fact. You can NOT go on, in or near Bourbon Street in New Orleans, LA with a firearm. You will end up with a code 95 charge at Orleans Parish Justice Center Detention Facility. They have police that specifically patrol only that particular area. Those particular police have body scanners on them. They will know if you have a firearm on you or not. You don't even have to show it. I know this because I used to work at that detention facility as a nurse. A good rule of thumb is "If an area has a high volume of alcohol sales, chances are it is zoned as a gun free zone." which makes sense anyway. Alcohol and firearms do NOT mix ever. Bad combination!!! Question: How can someone retreat in a 30' camper with only one door? Does not seem possible to me. What are the states you won't go to? Another good rule of thumb: Don't give them a reason to stop you. Stay within the speed limit if you have a gun in the vehicle. Drive like you should drive.
Surely where I was born and raised (NJ) and where I went to college and spent most of my adult life (MA) made his list. Pretty restrictive laws, but nobody in my family ever had a problem due to that, and in MA, I got an unrestricted concealed carry permit at age 24, no problem. Bit of a hassle sending certified-mail letters to 3 places every time I moved (state office, and police in from/to towns) but never a problem. One MA law of note, is that it is illegal to leave a firearm in a vehicle unattended, out of your "direct control". And you know what? It was kind of nice knowing that criminals and morons could be prosecuted for violating tight laws like that, if they got stupid and left a gun in their car door pocket for someone else to steal. Oops, did I just call John a moron for doing that? As for cops not bothering you if you stay within the speed limit, I'll say that it helps, but is far from a guarantee, at least if you drive through Kansas. They are well known for conducting illegal stops and illegal searches, and are under federal court orders to knock it off. But this April 20th I was heading home from NV to NH, and happened to be passing through Kansas on I-70 a bit before Topeka. Note that Kansas is a "zero tolerance" state for marijuana, sandwiched between two legal-pot states, Colorado and Missouri. And note that April 20th is 4/20, and 420 is associated with pot. I am not a pot user. Just an old guy driving a Prius 65 in a 70 down I-70, on radar cruise control with lane assist. Car loaded up with cameras, astronomy gear, a freezer full of PowerAde and water bottles, a bed, and camping gear after a solar eclipse expedition in TX, visiting an RV nomad in AZ, and hiking in NV. My car has an alarm that goes off if I wander from my lane. It did not go off, and I was not wandering in my lane. They stopped me for wandering in my lane and "driving on the shoulder line". Said they were checking that I was OK. When they saw I was sober and perfectly fine, they said they'd run my plate and license, and just give me a warning. Then 3 more troopers arrive. A canine circles my car and puts his paws on my rear passenger window. Suddenly they say they have probable cause to search, and take me a couple car lengths in front of the car, with the canine cop keeping me there while 3 or 4 others rummage through my car for 15-20 minutes. When I told him I'd been camping near Area 51, he told me his story of seeing a UFO. Hopefully someday he'll remember they probed him and the dog. The head cop then says "He's right, there's nothing. Let's go." No apology, no hesitation to get back into their positions to illegally search someone else. And off they go, leaving me to re-pack my car, in an empty weigh station entrance. As I rolled out of the weigh station, the scale lit up. I was rolling down the road at 4180 pounds, with a GVWR of 4115. The one thing they could have gotten me for, they missed! I could not stop laughing. They'd been pretty polite and relaxed, but I was pissed about having my rights trampled. Despite having been 15 minutes from where I was planning to stop for the night, and very tired, I drove onward until I was out of Kansas. Kansas is now the only state on my no-go list. Though I know you should never answer any question from a cop, when they walked me away from the car, they asked if I had any weapons on me, and I told them I had 2 knives in my pocket. The canine cop just said "As long as they stay there, we won't have a problem." They asked whether there were weapons, knives, needles, chemicals, or anything else dangerous in the car. I told them what was where, not much. When I got back home and was unpacking, I ran across a machete and two bear spray canisters I'd forgotten to tell them about. So in 20 minutes, 4 guys can't find a machete or bear spray. What are their chances of finding pot if you hid it? Surprisingly, they didn't used the dog when searching. It's probably just trained to alert on command, but wouldn't know a drug stash or a bomb, if it tripped over it.
@@EfficientRVer Yes we had an issue in Kansas early on in my travel nursing career. We were traveling at night and my hubby was driving. Long story short, got pulled over. He got arrested and taken to the hospital for a blood draw. Then taken to the local detention center. I was able to get him out a few hours later. We went on to our next assignment but went back to get a lawyer. I wish I could have seen the look on the cop's face when the blood work came back negative for everything. Plus a lawyer in the room. Would have been priceless and picture worthy. We steer clear of Kansas also.
We refuse to travel those states as well!!! We have had USCCA for about 15 years or more. And I’m over the laws banning my 2A RIGHTS! By the way…. USAA will NOT cover you if you have an accidental firing, it happened to a lady from our church (former EMT & cop) where she had her gun go off with a live bullet instead of the training dummy in the chamber. Went through her apartment wall, struck the leg of a man sitting in his chair! 🤯
As always, some things to seriously think about. Thank you. BTW, on a lighter note....how did homeschooling go this year? Are you enjoying it? God bless.
Hello, my wife and I enjoy your videos very much. We are glad that you returned to making videos about RVs. Regarding this video, we carried USCCA for many years. Then we became concerned because we learned of how they are trying to get out of representing you via various loopholes. My brother brought this to my attention. Attached is a link to Attorneys On Retainer. They will explain their benefits over USCCA. Worth checking out. Thank you. Keep up the good work. ruclips.net/video/RbCU49ATNjE/видео.html
Uscca will not cover you if the cops decide to arrest you and charge you with a felony while they investigate your situation. I dropped them when I researched their small print.
You should read and understand the contrat with the different insurance/attorney programs, some state that if you break a law then you have no coverage. such as carring in a state that does not allow carrying guns, and many other things that a zealous officer can come up with. Not everyone believes you should have the right to own a firearm.
I live in lower NY, not NYC, not westchester.(wokechester) The laws we have here are ridiculous! I got threatened with arrest because of a flip knife I had in my glove box. The cop saw it as I was getting my registration. I have since moved my documents to my passenger visor and I don’t open my glove box if pulled over. I consider that knife a tool more than a weapon. I use it mainly to open packages. I guess it could be used as a weapon the same way a hammer or screwdriver can but if it gets to that point I’m just going to drive through the threat rather than engage it with a 2” knife. Yes a simple flip knife is somehow illegal in NY! Be glad you don’t live here! [edit] I wasn’t arrested and the cop gave me back my “illegal” knife so the whole interaction was a bit confusing.
For three years I traveled across 44 states moving every day or two on average. I didn't have time to research each state, county, and city law and regulation so I gave up (that's what they want us to do!) and locked my unloaded firearms in one safe and my ammunition in another and never pulled them out unless I was in a sketchy place, and usually I'd move on from sketchy places before loading. Fortunately, I've settled into a campground for a while where I have a guard chicken named Charlie that watches out for me.🐓
Yeap, unfortunately there are states and people who don’t respect and value our Second Amendment rights. Sad that this is such an issue. Agreed, you need to research where you are going if you want to carry your firearm.
Here is what I think about the laws when it comes to making myself safe. It's better to be judge by 12 then carried by 6. I"m going to keep myself safe. Believe we are not the minority. We are the majority, just with out a microphone.
YUP ... I owned a house in SC (castle law state - I was told I could protect my castle, but was told not to shoot anyone in the back, cuz I wouldn't be in danger if the intruder was leaving) and moved back to NY and was warned NOT to take my guns across the state lines (it would be a felony)
Attorneys on Retainer Program... Insurance CANNOT payoff for a "criminal" act. Attorneys on Retainer is NOT insurance... they will defend you regardless of verdict in both criminal and civil attacks.
Fortunately, I live in Indiana where most surrounding state have Constitutional Carry as we do, with the exception of Michigan and the Draconian People's Republic of Illinois (my home state, but I escaped). I'm a USCCA member as well.
Hey family Look out for u s law shield exclusions on the contract Big part of these. Contracts are the exclusions!!!! The wording can be tricky and You can be excluded for certain Accused actions Or defending yourself against an ex-spouse.Or family member So for example. If you're a victim of Domestic violence and you defend yourself They may exclude you because the act was against An ex boyfriend girlfriend Wife husband Family member. Regardless I'm with John. Rather be judged by twelve Then carried by six
Fellow USCCA member, former LEO, former Ranger, licensed carrier in several states going back to the 80's. Yes, the laws are many: National Parks, Indian Reservations, cities, counties, retreat or no, constitutional or license required, yada, yada, yada! I'm with you--there are states that I just won't go in to for any reason. If I think I'm missing something...then I'll Google a pic. I'm not an RV'er, but an off-grid cabin owner in the mountains of NM. We've got four legged predators and two legged ones, also. The key is training, training...and then training some more. The second key is actually carrying the firearm. [with children aside/c'mon adults be smarter than your kids!]--if you're on the road, camped and fixing dinner and you need your protection--and it's locked up in a cabinet over the bed--it is of little use. It is of no use. The best insurance that a child won't 'play' with your weapon is to have it at your 3-o'clock from the time you wake up till the time you go to bed. I open carry every day, all day, as do my fellow off-gridders in my little mountain community. We haven't had an incident of any type in a long, long while measured in years. Again, training and knowledge. It will take some work, but it will pay off.
These laws are a crock of crap. Oue founding Father's would roll over in their Graves. Having to defend myself against defending myself 😂😂..😂😂😂 what a joke. I'm Pissed
I'd rather bear the cost of a attorney to defend my rights after defending my family, than my son bear the cost of my funeral. It all comes down to voting. Was listening to "Gun Talk" talk radio and couldn't believe my ears when I heard only 4% of hunters bother to vote. WTF? Look at this current Government we have, any gun owners who are too lazy to vote for their personal safety, or hunting sport in my opinion ARE THE PROBLEM. Believe me, the gun grabbers ALL VOTE, and their dead ancestors also vote.
John and Mercedes I'm glad to see my comments on the video prior to this one about knowing the self defense laws in where you are traveling through didn't fall on deaf ears. I applaud you two for broaching this subject. I thought you two did a very fine job on a very complex subject. Like I said in my earlier post it's not the transporting of a firearm, it will be the method / act of self defense in that local area. I briefly scanned the comments from others with the 2A comments, what one needs to realize is that the absolute greatest threat to our bill of rights is every time a legislature at any level meets. There is no greater threat in my opinion. Another point is to say absolutely nothing except fear for your life or that for your loved ones, and lawyer up immediately invoke the 5th / Right to remain silent within the first 5 seconds as in YOU need to be on the phone calling a lawyer then ( this needs to happen for all in your party). Why? several reasons you are traveling and probably just shot /killed a local person in the act of self defense. It won't matter that he or she was a dirt bag scum of the earth since they was 6 years old. What will matter is the family and friends will push that governmental attorney as well as the local LEO's into frying you in court. The other is that even though we are supposed to be using the same language, more times than not what you say will be misconstrued and twisted, thus will be used against you in a court. That includes any statement that your traveling party says regardless of age, relationship or any other factor. With that being said it's not a mistrust of the police, it is the need to invoke the right to remain silent. Your adrenaline is pumping, your mouth and verbiage has no filter you will be talking your way into a prison sentence. Let the lawyer explain EVERYTHING during the interview with the police. There really ideally should only be one story yours. Like I said earlier in my post of the previous video thank God for them ( the police / LEO's), but they will be pressured by the surviving friends and family of the person you killed or shot. Remember your a stranger traveling through, not a member of their community. Now I'm not a lawyer, and what I posted is not legal advice except YOU NEED a Lawyer, but one does not need to be a lawyer to understand why I say what I say. Also don't fall for the trap "oh if you have nothing to hide ...." sorry but that is a fishing expedition used by the LEO's. And trust me it is effective we as humans want / desire validation of being in the right. I apologize for this lengthy post but felt the need to validate your Video. I have only posted comments on youtube or any social media twice in my life and it has been your videos. P.S. and completely off topic did anyone notice that the National Park Service is being sued for going cashless by three people from differing states that should be a interesting video once the ruling comes out
IF you're planning to use ANY tool to defend yourself, you need to plan to defend yourself from the ramifications of doing so, legally, civilly. Attorney's on retainer, US Law Shield, USCCA would be and are MY choices. And yes, I have and recommend using a combination of these services.
Personally I thought your last video was reckless. Because of everything you are bringing up now. And honestly, there is NO WAY to know every law in every state, county, town or village. The other thing, and it's really a completely different subject... Is knowing when you can shoot, and even more so, when to STOP shooting! If you continue to shoot after the threat is neutralized, you can move from self defense to murder pretty fast. I think everyone should have training in that area. I'm not talking about firearm training, which is also important! You need to know in advance what you are going to do in a self defense encounter, as well as what you going to do after. NEVER EVER has a lawyer said... "I'm sure glad my client talked to the police". There are only two things you should say to police after a self defense incident. "He said he was going to kill me"! AND "I don't feel very well, I'd like to go to a hospital". That's the stuff you don't learn at the range.
I have carry licenses from NY,PENN,FLA AND UTAH, you neglected to say which you guys have . Those are honored in 38 or so states plus those that are constitutional carry. I do a brief look at states I pass through , as we travel to a destination state . I bring a lock box , and stick to ten round mags IF I’ll pass through one of the few that requires that .
Thanks guys for posting this video. I watched one you posted that bothered me as you mentioned where you kept and what weapons you kept. I would recommend USCCA, and you mentioned US Law Shield, so thanks. BTW, did you know that when personnel who work in law enforcement are involved in a shooting, they are placed on Administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation? Stay safe, stay vigilant, and keep practicing weapon-handling skills.
You need to look up the USCCA terms. There are several cases where they refused services. The agreement states that if your action is deemed illegal, they can refuse service. Guess what? The fact that you gave discharged a firearm is in fact illegal. Do your homework look up the cases that USCCA has denied and make your decision. FYI, I have been a member of USCCA since 2009 but after seeing how they have treated other members, I am seriously considering taking my money and legal safety somewhere else.
Real easy. Federal law allows you to transport secured, unloaded, firearms anywhere in US. Google firearms laws for what ever state you are entering. Problem is, if you have to defend yourself in a state that doesn't allow you to possess LOADED firearms , this is when you get in trouble. Also, some states don't allow you to have access to handgun but may allow you to "own" shotgun. Iv traveled all over and as long as I'm not doing something to make cops bother me, I've had no problems.
It's supposed to be a Constitutional civil right. What we got is a large set of laws dependent on what zip code you happen to be in. People are in jail out of confusion because the 20,000+ "laws" are so convoluted. Having 9 political hacks in black robes, taking liberties with the simple text of our Bill of Rights has been a disaster.
The 2nd Ammendment is a Constituional Right. A Motorhome is considered a Domicile. A travel Trailer I'm not so sure of. Shall not be infringed means exactly that. Nice informative video
Very true. None the less, I will always be defending mine and ours right to defend personal life and property. The older we get, the "term life in prison" loses it significance
The Supreme Court, which is pretty pro-gun, says an RV is not a home in that sense, much less a domicile. Probably as part of a scheme to make it easier for cops to search it. So, be careful making broad claims which in fact are different than the actual law of the land. Living in a fantasy world where the laws are what you want, rather than living in the real world, where it is complicated, can land you in jail. You're basically saying that you're going to ignore all his advice because you wish things were another way. And no, an RV is not a domicile. A domicile has more to do with an address, than with what the home physically is like.
Great video guys. I need to find out what are the 7 or 8 states you’d not go into with firearms. I will avoid those as well. Already seen 49 of 50. 48 of them trucking for 10 years. So it won’t bother me to not RV into those 8. Thanks!
With this being said top 20 places to park your rv and stay in America 🇺🇸? Based on beauty, affordability, safety, and amenities? Thank you for all yall do.
Thanks for this follow up video about crossing state lines with firearms and the challenges associated with doing so. Are you familiar with Byrna launchers which offer a less lethal self defense option and if so, what are your thoughts? Thanks!
I know a lot of the viewers are hoping to use their 2a rights to tag someone like their buddy Kyle. But if you feel you need to protect yourself while rving then you must stop rving. From a defensive point of review an RV is a horrible place. Thin walls, lots of glass. Any person that wants to get you, can do it easily. Your tires can be cut, electricity and water disconnected. Your pickup can be disabled and then what you gonna do? Go Rambo, which means everyone is a suspect even the nice people next to you and you want to take lethal risks. The legal firms are a bad investment. I worked for a legal outsourcing firm. We had thousands of lawyers on file to take gigs. 60 to 70 percent of all law degree holders aren't practicing, but might get this gig to file some paperwork for you. They might be awful, and not knowledgeable of local jurisdictions. Plus your bail isn't gonna be fast, they will still have to evaluate your collateral like any bail bonds firm. They are nonlethal methods out there and common sense things to do. But hey, your channel attracts the 2A crowd so I hope they get to use their .45 on their neighbors some day.
Why debate this! Just carry non-lethal options and stay the F- out of combat zones! You can figure out easily where that is. I’ve posted this before, carry a paint ball gun, bear spray and a hatchet or machete. Before you ridicule those options, test them on yourself or better have a friend test them on you. Not being sarcastic but you’ll see what strong defense they are. And they’re allowed in every state.

Hi there ! Just found your channel and subscribed....this is great information. I go out in the scrub quite a bit. Some of my friends laugh at me because im heavily armed when I go. I always tell them, its not the four-legged creatures im worried about, its the two-legged creatures that insist on getting creative...bad idea in my camp... the world is a dangerous place these days....thanks for the info..❤
I suggest before you travel that you visit the National Rifle Association. Look up the weapons laws for every State you will travel through. All of the brave people on this page will be crying like babies when they are found guilty of felony possession of a firearm and facing 5 or more years in prison. Do your homework, do not trust keyboard warriors or RUclips lawyers.
Firearms should be like driver's licenses: reciprocity in all 50 states regardless of the difference in accreditation. Imagine any other Constitutional right being handled this way: like the right to confront your accuser. You end up in some podunk town and their law is you dont get to question the accuser until you've submitted a polygraph.
I wouldn’t trust my life, nor my freedom with a self-defense insurance like USCCA they will drop you in a heartbeat. I trust Attorney on the retainer. You actually become a client of a law firm, not an insurance company.
I have a permit to carry ....I don't care what other states say. It's always better to be judged by 12 rather than being carried by 6. If you have to use your gun....eliminate the threat.
FUBAR isn’t it! When getting insurance make sure they will help you no matter what. Some will only cover you when the provider only deems you’re in the right!
USCCA has been in the headlines lately for not being willing to defend their members, they are insurance. I personally like Attorneys On Retainer, not insurance but you are resting your own 2A law firm. No affiliation with either.
People worry too much about attacks from armed strangers, some of which is real, but most of which is their own fear of the unknown getting a grip on them. People worry too little about the danger of someone close snapping and hurting/killing them. I wouldn't be with someone who thought it was so likely they're going to shoot someone, that they need to buy insurance for it. The most likely person they'd shoot, would be me. Both statistically, and because I just seem to have that effect on some women, where some eventually snap. Maybe it's me, as they say, but with other girlfriends, there was never an argument or raised voice or conflict of any kind, much less a hint that violence was a possibility. But I sure did know how to pick the ticking time bomb ones a few times. Most actual violence is not along the lines of self-defense fantasies versus an evil stranger, it is usually more along the lines of a romantic partner snapping. One girlfriend I lived with, and expected to forever, seemed extremely peaceful. After a couple of years, she started going out of her way to start arguments, then started escalating to yelling. Then she'd gaslight me that it hadn't happened. I'm still not sure if it was gaslighting, or she had a Jekyll/Hyde thing and didn't remember what she did in an alternate personality. Then it escalated to throwing and smashing things, not at me yet. I left, knowing that the next step would be that things would be thrown at me. I'd rather walk completely unarmed at night through any city, than spend a few months too many with a partner who is proceeding up the violence spectrum. In an earlier relationship, I waited until it escalated all the way up to a murder attempt in my sleep. That's called ignoring too many red flags, and placing too much value on a relationship or marriage, over the value of a worry-free life surrounded by peaceful people.
With the millions of different videos out there, I have yet to see anybody show a legitimate attack on RVErs knock knock sense that you're painting that there's these bogeyman. I'm sure they're out there it just I think you guys really take it too far. Towne cryers I will admit we did that in 1987. We cross the border from Montana into Canada with firearms. Love your channel Guns Guns Guns very good lots of info I have been carrying a hand gun since I was 24 and I am 64 I take it everywhere we have them in every room of our house we live in FL
It is a shame, this video should be irrelevant in the USA. The constitution is the prevailing LAW. The right to own and Bear arms shall NOT be infringed.
I figure I have a 3' reach so if I have a 24' motorhome I should have 8 guns, 1 every 3 feet, so one is always in reach, a solid mounted cannon on the back bumper, and a mortar launcher on the front, top middle should have a rotating gun turret.
Check with GOA or USCCA ... they can get you up to date on these laws. Also get some insurance for yourself ... to cover you in case you need to defend yourself.
@@EfficientRVer The phrase "well regulated" was in common use long before 1789, and remained so for a century thereafter. It referred to the property of something being in proper working order. Something that was well-regulated was calibrated correctly, functioning as expected. Establishing government oversight of the people's arms was not only not the intent in using the phrase in the 2nd amendment, it was precisely to render the government powerless to do so that the founders wrote it.
Nope! Too many loose cannons in the country.
We agree on a national carry but we shouldn’t need to. Buy self defense insurance

I just left a comment too. Byrna is the way to go.

@@TonyBenton0728 I do agree with you on that. Pure stupidity!!!
It's in the Constitution which limits federal areas of power, and gives the rest to the States. But it also says that all states must honor the titles, deeds, and licenses of all other states, which only with gun laws doesn't happen.

New Jersey, critical defense. Hollow point ammo is a felony and $1000 fine a bullet . Don't go there
I have my Cc in my state (Michigan) & practice regularly.
It is absolutely ridiculous

Wow, what kind of messed up country do you live in?
Interesting how a constitutional right that states " shall not be infringed." is wrapped and smothered in infringements...
Thank you for pointing this out. It’s crazy the lengths you have to go to just to stay alive and not be the victim. ❤️

P.S. and completely off topic did anyone notice that the National Park Service is being sued for going cashless by three people from differing states that should be a interesting video once the ruling comes out
Gotta know the laws regarding firearms. It takes copious pre-planning!!
Meanwhile, TSC has abandoned DEI!!
This is why we probably will never RV to Alaska, you can't enter Canada with a handgun... No way, no how...
Yes but they could bankrupt you defending that right
Thanks!
Very informative. Admire your passion regarding our 2nd Amendment. Too many people and Democrats that would do us harm. Thank you!

I sort of conveniently forgot. I was really upset that after all that hard work of collecting up my firewood, I couldn't cross the border with it I still say that there's some kind of a scam going on there, the border patrol agents are reselling the firewood I believe or using it for themselves Eeerrrk
Love your channel Guns Guns Guns very good lots of info I have been carrying a hand gun since I was 24 and I am 64 I take it everywhere we have them in every room of our house we live in FL
I have switched to Attorneys On Retainer from USCCA after hearing them not covering the recent shooting involving a dipshyt RUclipsr getting shot.
You have to be Real carful traveling up and down the whole WEST COAST!!! Calif,. Oregon, & WASHINGTON!
I carry CCW SAFE. Good coverage.
Thats why you get a concealed carry with reciprocal and stay with 7 max in crook County
It is a shame, this video should be irrelevant in the USA. The constitution is the prevailing LAW. The right to own and Bear arms shall NOT be infringed.
July 4 2024 Louisiana becomes the 29th state declaring them as "Constitutional Carry" which every state.should be.
The 2nd amendment states, our gun rights,
🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡 SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED ⚔⚔⚔⚔⚔⚔⚔⚔
any questions?????
Which well regulated militia did you sign up for?
@@EfficientRVer Sign up? Where is THAT in the constitution?
@@EfficientRVer The phrase "well regulated" was in common use long before 1789, and remained so for a century thereafter. It referred to the property of something being in proper working order. Something that was well-regulated was calibrated correctly, functioning as expected. Establishing government oversight of the people's arms was not only not the intent in using the phrase in the 2nd amendment, it was precisely to render the government powerless to do so that the founders wrote it.
Have you signed on to this explanation?
My rule is, stay out of blue states (except New Mexico where my AZ permit is honored). If they won't honor my second amendment rights, they don't need my money.
