I like how at 37:20 you show the range of a calamity if it were build at this spot and judge that it won't reach anything, just to spend the next 15min wondering why sash doesn't target stuff that is out of range. :D
Yea im not a fan, I do understand the point a few people made in a previous video, it could also be that due to size of this map its a bad example of it
Nuclear overwhelm just doesn't work really. The ratio between Antinuke and nuke is too high to overwhelm and not lose otherwise I suppose. Frustrating watching autopilot let himself get penned up. Could have fight-moved and mopped Sash's fleet off the map for a good portion of the game there, albeit neither of them seemed to take the game very seriously.
Indeed. I was unsure if they were just messing around. But they both attempted ways to straight up win. At the end auto had so many flagships that he should have been able to overwhelm sash
I disabled map edge extension shortly after I started playing BAR. I think it is just much less clutter while playing, especially if you mostly play zoomed out.
I am the onee who reccomended the map extension off. It helps keep focus, but this map is unique size and unfortunate blue color doesnt help eighter. I think it is possible to engorce black background. It saves eyes.
The map edge extension is good most of the time. This one it would be nice to be able to see it. Some maps have a gigantic extension and have very repetitive colors and shapes so it does make it unpleasant but that is a very small amount of maps that are like that.
If the blue background were replaced with gray, or another neutral color like in FAF, that would be fine, but the searing blue is very harsh on the brain and eyes.
Suggestion: maybe next time just put the speed at 20x for the most of the build-up time when it became very clear that nothing will happen any time soon. Or just edit it later or smth. Glorious end tho, I was sure the other was gonna win.
This just looked like two people f'ing around to be honest

He was measuring range of Basilisk, not Calamity :)
He measured the Basilisk, expecting the Calamity to have inifinite range (like they used to have?) until around 54:00
yea, tbh i dont play 8v8s much so i dont often to get to use calamitys, they used to have infin range but not anymore it seems
Thanks for clearing that up. So Basilisk always had limited range, and Calamity changed recently?
@@somebod8703 I am not sure about Calamity, i don't play BAR for a long time :)
lmao the flagships staring at eachother shooting the water
Lel
thx for the nap. this game was... something else for sure
yea indeed, was not what i expected when i started recording :D
If I ever had to play a game like this, I think I'd be very sad. Guess PRO team is just built different ;)
that end scene with the dragons flying and the nukes, beautiful
Skip to 1:05:30 for the action. You're welcome.
Please put the map edge extension back on next time.
Yea im not a fan, I do understand the point a few people made in a previous video, it could also be that due to size of this map its a bad example of it
@@Requiem_tv Pls don't put it back. It is so much cleaner without it!
Another vote for putting it back! Just plain weird lookin without..
i like it this way
@@Requiem_tv how do you have the team based metal income display in the top right? thank you.
Exciting 30 minutes of two navies pounding the water. Or not.
i liked those drifting dragons exploring the nothingness

@@Requiem_tv Fatigue is a thing. Judgement and the will to go on get severely hampered the longer a game goes on.
These are the games where you couldve fast forwarded at x2 or x4 speed. I ended up skipping a bunch. Still exited to see the outcome.
Indeed.
Just like the rxxy one where there's alot of dead time. May have yo start doing it. I kept thinking oh they gotta do something soon. But yea
I believe he ate his naval lab to put down his first fusion and then I see right after he drops an AN before putting his lab back up.

amazing game ! thank you :)
The symbols on the map are like immune system cells ^^
im high af lol.

He ate his tech 2 shipyard to push out a fusion, probably had too little e for tech 2 ships but wanted sea Mexes to start going up
would love to see the active units summary tab to see how their armies compared throughout the match, great cast regardless!

Haha wow what a game.
I thought that the nukes would win the game actually.
great game. the map edge being cut like that looks super weird though idk if that's the play
yea someone on a previous video, said it helps see the edge of the map clearer, which tbf it does, but it also then looks ugly
PEAK BAR gameplay the whole time LUL
well this has been a match of all time ...
fun game!
Its a good idea to replace the map extension, but computer death screen background might not be ideal
Absolutely enthralling 😅
Wow I had no idea the construction turrets could be moved by air transport...
Some other turrets as well. I recently moved T2 con and a lot of turrets into backline with Abductors and built a T3 gantry there....

Yea indeed just wish there was a way I could change it
does the right-hand player have an advantage on this map with the extra island closer to the center of the map?
iirc because of the non-symmetry one side of this map has a much higher win rate
I dont get why neither side tried a committed t2 bomber run
should have gone for junos xd (actually not sure if junos have enough range)
I like the map better with the edges. If it was possible to make it a darker more neutral color that might work but definitely not a fan of the blue
Unfortunately it's set by the maps sky box. Nothing I can change I'm afraid

Dope game
Totally pointless video. This could have been a 3 min video.
boring eco game
My goodness. I play TA with a unit cap of only 250. And it can get rowdy. But 2000???
2000 is not the hard cap, you can go more :D
