I am going to roast a leg of lamb this Easter for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE only 17 ppl coming for dinner.. i was watching several videos in a row and felt the anxiety rising , until i found your video. I am calmed down and far more confident after watching your video. So wonderful to have found a normal person who I unpretentious demonstrate how to succeed at this roast!! THANK YOU ❤ MAY THE JOY OF EASTER BE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
Now the pressure's on me remember, I cooked that lamb at 450 for like almost 2 and a 1/2 hours. I meant to cook it 450 for 30 minutes and then down to 350 until done.
I’ve been eyeing this roast from Costco for a while now. I’m going to pull the trigger and try this out. Thank you!
Hope you enjoy😜
Roast looked heavenly brother good job 👍🏼
Thank you so much for the kind words!

Such a great meat and with beef so high this is an excellent choice. I like mint vinegar splashed on and some mint jelly on the side. It is the healthiest thing you can eat. Thanks for showing that beautiful feast.
Mint vinegar splashed on? That's a unique twist on flavoring, I love it!😜
Im in Sam’s club right now and just pick up a 4 lb .. and came straight to your channel. I’m going to season mine today and cook it sunday
I'm coming over.😛
I clicked on this because of the low views. I was hoping it was going to be some horrendous home cooking but unfortunately this was beautiful. I wouldve left it a bit more rare personally. Id still tear it up
Sorry to disappoint with the lack of horrendous home cooking! Maybe next time, I'll burn the toast for you. Just kidding!
You got that thing lookin right
Thank you so much for the kind words!😎
Bruh do you know how good that would be over some coals with the Weber rotisserie omg not to say yours doesn’t look great it looks delicious but man ima have to find me one and try this rotisserie style maybe for like some gyros man that looked great and thank you for the idea cheers 🍻
I was thinking the same thing. It would have been great.
I was thinking about putting it on the gas grill with the rotisserie but with with the oven
I leave all the fat on it and use the same mesh. It's amazing! Especially with coconut rice :D
That's a great way to cook it! The fat adds so much flavor, right?😋
I’m curious, what was the thinking behind the higher temp first and then low temp? My thought process would’ve been to finish with the high temp
My thinking is with the higher temperature you brown the meat if you move it to a higher temperature last you could overcook
This is a part of an eternal argument between big-endians & little-endians.
Some think one should SEAL their to keep all natural juices inside it.
The opposite routine is called back searing.
Is there a gland inside the fat that you should take out.saw in other vids???
You are right costco must have removed see link ruclips.net/video/m3P4nNMGYks/видео.htmlsi=3RTs4RHH9sbIxd5Z
Nice, totally forgot Costco and went local. Regrets lol
Next time!😎
That's meats not well done I'd say medium well.
😀
The fat you cut off is the most nutritious part with tons of omega 3 fatty acids. Man, you were making a big mistake right there.
I appreciate you pointing that out. I'll definitely keep it in mind for future videos.😎
Way to much salt 😢
I used kosher salt not table salt so it looks like it's a lot more😋
Ik salt and Lawry’s seasoning geeez.
Before placing oneself as a guru, it might be considered helpful to follow the basic hygiene routine. Like WIPING the stinking wrapped lamb leg before seasoning it. Please.
Good point!
Nah dawg you want that med rare
Well done is a sin
Lol, got it! Medium rare it is!
Undercooked the roast. Then shows a bailout method in a pan, wrecking that meat? And it’s a cooking channel?
Yup, it's a cooking show. You get mistakes and all not every cook comes out perfect.
