Nice rice job from skoda. What's the point of a "track day" if its mechanically the same as a stock slavia? VW/ Skoda has a lot of enthusiasts in the customer base yet they keep launching these cosmetic updates instead of something substantial. Meanwhile hyundai actually has proper N line versions.
Earlier VW had the Jetta, Passat, Touareg and Phaeton W12(actually know a person who has one) on sale here in India whereas Skoda had the Superb and Octavia RS. This is a lost opportunity for Škoda. They should have learned from Hyundai and offered this a 4 wheel disc brakes, lowered and stiffer suspension and also could have given this the 17 inch wheels from Kushaq. Even if the price difference was marginally higher compared to the regular spec, it would have been a much better vfm option.
Creta N line's suspension is not stiffened like i20 or Venue N line. 2ndly, Kushaq has far better driving dynamics compared to Creta so the need is also less. yes Slavia Monte Carlo could come with 17 inch wheels.
