- Homemade chips made in the Ninja Air Fryer are delicious, the proof is in the tasting and sorry, I said the wine that I was drinking was French when it is Italian. It is a lovely Pinot Grigio Rosay from the provice of Di Pavia.
I agree great to have a normal English Person demonstrating 👍

Thank you so much Mikey, it means a lot xx
Aye, i just think of Keith Floyd when ya see someone supping in the kitchen. Not a fan of TV chefs, but i liked him. Nice to see ms Hunter carrying on the tradition. It can really relax a "stressed kitchen" if ya've got a few pans on the go.
That’s the truth I come home stressed ! Start cooking which I love and pour a glass of wine , all my stresses slip away ! I can assure everyone I do not drink on duty 😂 and at home 2 glasses is my limit 😂😂 no staying power these days xx
Just found this channel very impressed didn’t realise how simple air fryers are to use keep them coming

Hi Gary, thank you ! That is very nice of you to give a positive feedback . I am no professional 😂😂 just enjoy learning and sharing . I also found in the past lots of false reviews and ended up buying rubbish . I do hope you enjoy the ninja as much as I do xx
My first use of my ninja was a very scrummy jacket spud it was excellent it may just be a humble spud but I was pleased with the outcome with beans and cheese ! So now I'm on my way to try more ! Best thing was it heated up my cold kitchen for zero cost !
Awesome !! I love a jacket spud , I go for Tuna and sweetcorn and Mayo. It is fun , be confident and just enjoy it , secret is to keep checking on what you are cooking ! It also warms my cold kitchen, so I am with you there xxxx

The chips turned out lovely!!
Thank you Trixe, so pleased I had a gentleman comment saying the time was all wrong and his chips were awful !! I said to him when doing things like chips you have to make sure that they are not too think or you need to increase the time and they need quite a bit of shaking !! I think it is difficult giving bang on timings for airfryers a lot must be down to the user to look and judge . I am really pleased we have our own chips about once a week with big fat chips 😂😂😂❤️ thanks for letting me know xxx
@@cookingwithsusie You're welcome Susie. And yes it's all about timing and having a watchful eye, basically common sense! I think the Ninja dual air fryer is fantastic by the way.❤️

Hey Susie ❤😁
I've just had my Ninja today and found you 🥰 . I'm doing chicken & homemade chips too. Thanks for the demo 🤩🥰. New sub ❤
Hi! Welcome to my channel , I hope you loved the chicken and the chips , one thing I always tell people when using your air fryer use your judgement when cooking if I say it took 10 mins you might find it take you 12 mins or maybe 8 mins , simply because we all cut things differently and not all chickens are the same size so you have to allow for that . Just use your own judgement and you will have lots of lovely dishes coming your way . If I can help at all I will, just ask xxx thanks for watching xx
Hi I have just bought a ninja. Love it. Just subscribed to you. X
Thank you Su, hope you love it and enjoy it as much as I do mine xxx
hi Susie, we're thinking about getting one of these wonderful machines 🙂 Does it generate steam or vapor when running ? Cheers !
I love mine and I don’t find it steams or gives of any real vapour , I have however been told by others that occasionally when cooking frozen foods they have had a little amount of steam ! So that’s all I can really say , I would be lost without mine xxx
@cookingwithsusie thank you this will be important for us due to its place in the kitchen

hi Susie instead of using kitchen roll, why not use 2 clean tea towels for the chip prep, no wasting of kitchen roll as the tea towels will dry naturally when hung up to dry, just a thought :) :)
Actually that is a very good idea ! I think because I work in nursing we only ever use paper towels as everything is then thrown away to help infection control, think I am addicted to them !! But I think it would be much better doing that and then just wash the tea towels . I do use kitchen roll that is made from recycled materials but I think it would be better to cut down and cause less waste , so a very good thought . Thank you for that Kevin xx

Hi Susie, my ninja has arrived I'm waiting on the silicone baskets, I have a question do I remove the crisper plates if I use the baskets ? Or do i use the silicone baskets for certain foods only I'm slightly confused ?
Hi Cal, yes even I have been confused with these , I do remove the crisper plates when using the baskets , I believe you can use them for anything but I have found things I like crispy are much better on the crisper racks than in the baskets ! So I tend to use mine when working with glass dishes . Hope that helps and thank you for commenting xx

Hi Susie, I'm a new subscriber to your channel, having just purchased the larger AF400 Ninja. Do you not have to heat up the air fryer for a couple of minutes prior to cooking anything in the baskets. I hope I can get my chips & roasties looking half as good as yours, I will then be a very happy man.
Hi Richard thank you for subscribing, I have just bought that Ninja for my daughter and her family , she is loving it ! No you don’t pre heat Ninjas they are brilliant. Any questions come back to me and I will try and help xx
Hi, can i ask where you got your tongues from, they look very smart :) Thanks for the vid.
Hi Greg, I have bought several pairs of tongs now, some from B and M but they were not good but my others came from Amazon . Hope that helps xx
What model number is this air fryer? Thanks in advance.
Hi Mitch mine is the 300 model, which is the smaller dual zone air fryer , great for two or a small family . Xx
Hi, could you show me how you would do mini chicken fillets(no skin on) in the ninja dual please.
Hello, I have found if using chicken breasts or mini fillets you have to be very careful they don’t dry out . I tend to wrap mini fillets in pancetta and bigger chicken breast in bacon , this stops them drying out and gives them a beautiful flavour . The other way I do them is to marinade them in olive oil and a little lemon juice season with a little garlic salt and they will only take between 4 to 8 mins in airfry depending how big they are . I tend to do mine on the hob just in a frying pan because they cook so quickly but I know lots of people do use the ninja for them and brush them with a little oil . I will look for a recipe and add it to my schedule xxxx
Got mine Saturday and cooked a half chicken and done my own chips ,,,,yummy ❤❤
Fantastic, hope you enjoy your machine as much as we do xxx
Hi Susie really like you’re videos . Do es the air fryer dry food out ?
I don’t find that at all , the chicken is amazing cooked in the ninja ! I have however used the Ninja this year to dry all my herbs from the garden and it was brilliant for that . Remember not to over crowd the basket so the air circulates . Xxx
I’m a new subscriber looks very easy I have same air fryer ninja as you so will be watching you ❤
Thank you , just think of it as a small oven with a powerful fan , enjoy xxxx
@@cookingwithsusie thank you we bought it last week on line from ninja £134-99 on offer 🤩so happy
@suepeacock9213 brilliant price hope you love it xxx
Susie, love your channel please keep posting as I’m a new owner of a Ninja Air Fryer and use your tips. Can I ask, what temp and time would you recommend for a boneless chicken breast?
Hi Jason , thank you for enjoying the channel , has the chicken breast got skin on it ! If so that really helps keep it moist . Chicken breasts vary so much in size which effects cooking times . I really mainly on my meat thermometer 🌡. If it is skin less chicken breast I tend to wrap a slice of bacon around the breast to stop it drying out . I like to airfry a chicken breast with the skin on and a medium one is usually about 15 mins on airfry at 200 temp , you can use roast and wrap it in foil I would then say 180 for 25 mins . Please though always check as cooking needs eyes on and checking . If you have no thermometer, I would make a little cut in the thickest part and you need to see clear juices coming out , anything pink is not cooked enough . Cooking times can only be a guide . Hope that helps, just think of it as a mini oven and keep experimenting xxx
@@cookingwithsusie Thanks Susie, that was very helpful. The chicken breasts don't have skin on them so i feel more confident in cooking them in the air fryer now following your advice.
Just found you! Brilliant. How many chips do you think could go in one basket? as in, could you have a couple of layers? Im thinking of getting one of these, then doing chicken (same as you have done) or home made burgers in one, but lots of chips for 4 grandchildren :) xx
Hi Sarah, I love my grandchildren soo much too ! I would not recommend in my model doing many layers I put one layer and another slightly less layer as you need to get the air around them to cook and giving them a shake you need a bit of space in the pan ! I think the bigger model a 400 would be a better option for you , in fact now I love mine so much I wished I had bought bigger ! One of my subscribers has had 4 burgers in one basket and said they were fine , I have only put two in at a time in one pan , they were quite large burgers ! Also burgers do shrinks so they may well be fine . It cooks them beautifully. I also use reheat which has proved useful with slices of pizza and sausage rolls . Thanks for you comment xxx
Having just bought the same model as you ( ninja dual..£200..argos..!! )..I'm new to this game and your channel is brilliant !! I'm watching each of your vids avidly..and I've subbed..cheers..and greetings from liverpool..Robbie.
Oh thanks Robbie , I am still really experimenting myself, finding what works and things that don’t . I have found I save a lot of electric using it ! My big oven is not economical. Do try salmon fillets if you like Salmon , I coat mine with pesto and put them in and give it 12 mins or a little more if big fillets , they are beautiful. X
@@cookingwithsusie excellent..!! I tried cabbage in it yesterday..It was horrible..think i burnt it..!! Its gonna be a long trial and error process i think..keep up the good work..!!

I'm just over a month into my Ninja dual zone air fryer so thoroughly enjoying your vids. I have found the frozen M&S French Fries to be delicious and as they have a light coating of 'batter' no need to add any oil. Do you do air fry your Waitrose southern fried chicken pieces from frozen? Same question regarding fishcakes and chicken kiev and the like, room temp or frozen? Keep up the good work. George
Thank you George, yes I cook a lot from frozen in the ninja , I usually cook for the normal time and add a third more time then use my temperature probe which tells me when it is cooked inside . Fish cakes cook beautifully from frozen . We love the Waitrose Chicken southern fried us a favourite supper of ours straight from the freezer to the ninja . So glad you are enjoying yours and keep checking back to see other things I put up . Thanks for commenting xx
What’s the difference between Airfry and Bake mode?
The only difference is fan speed , on Airfry the fan is at its fastest on bake it is slow xxx

@@cookingwithsusie ok !
Hi Susie, I've learnt that the silicone baskets impede cooking I did jacket spuds again but the baskets made spuds take twice as long so they were a bit of a disaster ! So least I know now I'm not convinced by them I was trying to cut down on washing up but it backfired on me ! Interesting experiment anyway .....it does need good air circulation to work efficiently and the baskets don't help !
Hi Cal , I would agree with you , I only use my baskets for putting the glass dishes in and out of the baskets . I see lots of people raving about them and I keep thinking I am using them wrong but you experienced the same thing I found . Regards jacket spuds I always microwave mine for 5 mins then put them into the ninja on roast for 35 mins that seems to work for me , although if you have huge spuds then the time will be more . The plates at the bottom are designed for Max Roast which is basically frozen food
Oh that’s interesting, I have been told the plates are to be used when air frying sausages, chicken or anything you don’t want sitting in its own fat and also for max crisp ! Also find it different that Ninja don’t need to pre heat . Quite a few people have told me the have to pre heat there air fryers !! You say you would be lost without it so where were you before? As a long time user of air fryers I think the measly amount of oil you used was to little and you really just dry browned them, you can go to far with this minimum amount of oil to cook reasoning.
I stand by the fact I would feel lost without the airfryer , where was I before . Well because I work full time an average of 60 hours a week I would rush home and love for simple meals that did not take long to prepare ,The Nnja changed that as I find now I can cook chicken and so many other things so quickly , I love olive oil and use it for my salads nearly every day , I simply don’t find the need for a lot of oil ! It has got to be down to personal taste that what cooking should be about thank s for commenting Graham xx
Too much unwanted chat especially about the unused oil !!!
Sorry I cannot please everyone !
@@cookingwithsusie but I still watched it lol
Thank you Lyn , I will try harder 😂 ❤️
You are losing loads of potato by peeling them with a knife.
You are correct! I simply find I nearly take my fingers off with the peeler I do have , although I always use a peeler for carrots and parsnips ! Think it could be because I am left handed !! Not sure 🤔
Omg that chicken is so cheap to me. Canada would be much more. A pack equivalent to what you have we pay $10 for..actually I do believe it has gone up to $12 cad now
That is really interesting we all are feeling the increased charges on gas and electric here in the UK and in the past two months food prices have really gone up ! I had no idea Canada was expensive to live there , I can only relate to the UK . Do you have families that struggle in Canada we have quite a lot of poverty in the UK . Thanks for commenting xx
