Some of the RV forums have people saying the pivot feature might cause the fenders of the tow dolly to damage the car being towed. Should this be a concern towing a 2023 Toyota Corolla (front track 60.3")?
We have pulled Toyota Prius' on tow dollies before and it worked great. It may also help to use a few leveling blocks to drive on first to get the bumper up so the angle is not so extreme. The Race Ramps I have linked below are also a terrific option for a more gradual incline for lower vehicles. www.etrailer.com/Trailers/Demco/DM9713045.html www.etrailer.com/Car-Ramps/Race-Ramps/RR-SCALE-2.html
It is not recommended to back up with a car on a tow dolly. You run the risk of jackknifing the dolly and vehicle potentially damaging one or the other. www.etrailer.com/Trailers/Demco/DM9713045.html
Great intro vid. We just purchased our Kar KaddySS. Thank you.

Very informative video, but you forgot at the end of the video, to put the transmission in neutral besides removing the parking brake. Thank you.
Thank you for pointing this out. You will need to follow your vehicle's procedure for dolly towing.

Will the Kar Kaddy SS work for towing a Toyota Prius, I'm a little concerned with the lower ground clearance.

Can you actually back up with a dolly? I know flat toad reversing is not possible, one of the reasons we are looking to dolly instead of toad!
