- This is a shortened run down on what it takes to swap the water pump in the gen III hemi 5.7L or 6.4L vehicles. I offer some tips and tricks to help making this install a breeze. I also show a few things to help eliminate the need to remove the bumper.
Is it mandatory to remove the top part of the belly pan off? Or can I reach the valve and lower the fan enough with it still on??? I would like to avoid push-pins if able to.
@BudLite22 no not mandatory.. but makes everything easier. That valve at bottom of radiator can be a PITA
How did you get the hose off I got the clamp but the hose won’t come off
@martavianmims2260 take a pic or small flathead and wedge it between the hose. You have to break the seal.. then you will be able to twist and remove it.
Some of them get sealed on pretty good
Hey bro my engine is making a ticking sound and started leaking coolant when parked Could it be the water pump? I am located in Fontana if I can email you to send a clip
@jakehubj christianreid22@yahoo.com.
Leaking coolant is going to be a hose, your water pump, or radiator
I got a 2021 charger rt and my water pump is leaking , what do you recommend getting the same one or getting an upgrade
@GetardoGonzlez-fj5kd just keep it oem
Im thinking of going e85 on my Durango, what exactly is needed?
@kevinmosley2794 getting injectors and a tune is all that is needed. 2015+ will require a pcm unlock
You do not need to do anything with the fan
I like to for more room
