Use Bit Higher Version Of Mac OS. Try Extracting The DMG File And Use The .pkg File In TransMac

@@hanomediahow ? You’re supposed to restore with a « disk Image « . If you restore with the iso file it says it will e written as a raw image. (!!!)

@@hanomedia i acutally trying since 10 day 10 Hours per day to set my old IMac and i cant handle it. I always get some Errors. The big problem is, i only get in the recovery mode. I cant log in or use any system. So i tried now for 10 hours Create Bootstick only with terminal but doesnt worked. i also tried with iso file.
I cant Recover via Connection, it says: this version isnt available on app store yet

I watched so many videos and tried to make this USB stick a lot of times but it doesn't appear and the only disk that appears is the recovery one and I can't even use it 😅 I don't want to buy a USB stick with the program from ebay because I'm worried it won't work
When I right click the drive on TransMac, it does not give me the option to format it. The only options are "Open/Close, Save image of disk, Search for volumes, Refresh drive list and Properties". Anyone know how to navigate this?

I tried using TransMac to create a bootable High Sierra usb, and I did all of the steps properly (went though cmd prompt, diskpart, clean, convert to GPT, etc.) However, when I try to insert the usb into my macbook and hold the option key to list the USBs to boot from, it does not list any USBs , just a blank screen with a black cursor. What is the probable cause for this? I couldn't figure out what it is, and I really don't want to buy some premade usb off of ebay just to get it to work. Unfortunately the only machine I have in my house to be able to do this is my dad's old HP all in one that runs extremely slow, and sounds like a jet turbine when it is running.

I have a MacBook Air mid-2011.
I've follwowed these steps and correctly wrote the flash drive, but when I boot with the options key on my Macbook Air - I don't see my USB drive listed, only "Internet Recovery"
Is there a workaround?
Edit: I remember using a different combination of keys for my MacBook Air to just install High Sierra OS directly from the internet, instead of the Lion OS X it was booting to.

Hey so I recently put kali Linux on my Mac and I removed it using Rn -rf /* because I couldn’t find any other way to remove it without bricking my system, now I want to put Catalina on my Mac again, I did this process as well as all the other processes but I’m using a dmg file to make as a bootable drive I held down option key and power button but it isn’t listing, and the hard drive which is there shows windows then when I click on it it says no operating system how do I fix this issue?

Hey Brother do you also make error videos about imac's? if you do please help me out on this one so i have a imac early 2009 (a lil bit old) it was running yosemite and everything went fine i wanted to install windows 10 on my mac with bootcamp so both os will work but i tried every single thing and at last i created a bootable usb for windows 10 using rufus and it worked but i had to format my hard disk for that and i did windows 10 was working fine but you know my mac had 4 gb ram so it was taking so much ram and i down graded to windows 8.1 which went sucessfully i installed all the bootcanp drivers and in it you have to restart your mac and it did but the next day i boot into windows 8.1 there is just a blue screen with nothing on it and not even the windows 8.1 boot screen so i create the same bootable usb like i did with windows 10 multi iso with rufus and the setup loads for a bit and says driver_pnp_watchdog bsod any help pls (sorry for bad grammar )

3. "list disk"
4. "select disk #" (# = usb disk number)
5. "clean"
6. "create partition primary"
then your system will can detect your USB drive and you can format

I have tried both methods and nothing works for me. To test my USB Drive, y have made a Xubuntu USB with Etcher and that works perfectly, but no with El Capitan
in that case you will need to find another mac computer and follow these instructions otherwise it can't work with windows

After creating a bootable disk by TraqnsMach HP Laptop doesn't take is as a bootable disk, it gives there is no bootable device

It can be of couple reasons, the image,the thumb drive you are using,the software you used to create a bootable media you can double check each one maybe there is an error somewhere
