It's very difficult to concentrate when the presenter looks like Kurt Cobain and is interviewing Julian Casablancas. This guy is the strangest person I've ever seen in my life, is very cool, my favorite singer.
He thinks a lot before talking, that's a good thing because you know what he's saying is really what he thinks, but in an interview it looks a little awkward. I've seen a lot of Julian's interviews and, boy... he's a serious thing. The host has to be very prepared for a good shot of awkard answers and silences but in the end he is very nice.

for all the times that he stumbles with interviewers i feel like its made up for when he's around people he's comfortable with, i.e. juliet, and anyone able to hear him ramble senselessly about things he loves away from all of this must feel absolutely blessed
What do you care if he is drunk or sober or if he answers the questions correctly or coherently? He is a singer, he composes all of his/ the strokes music. He's best at music and that is what we should discuss. He is a shy guy, he talks about it in his songs. You should not doubt the fact that he is a smart guy. Otherwise how could he created the music he did?
You can tell he's not just a gorgeous idiot - he never interrupts the interviewer, even when the guy is sort of offensive, he thinks before he speaks, he seems satisfied with his life, he works hard, he cares about his fans, music - DAMN he is hot - I love him.
