All these years later, this is still one of my favorite recorded strat tones of all time. It perfectly captures everything I like about that guitar, and pairs perfectly with the immaculate vocals and harmony, and all the other great playing on the track. So damn good.

@levi7516 i thought it was surprising as well, but that was more because i was more used to seeing black people intrested in rapping or gospel. well that's just my take, being black myself, but then again I also like singing things besides what people think black people stereotypically sing. he's very talented as a singer though~

Does Björk and the Vines play «british music»? If a band says it is influenced by british bands, does it make it «british music»? Does music really have such a «national» character ? Other than that, the sound/style, mood, and aesthetics are completely different. Eww hootie and the blowfish?? 90's butt rock. I love the Rentals though, good band.
look man the dears are cool and all but not one of their bst song , in fact this song was a bit below good, it sounded like anyother clam inperational music. if the tittle fit the sont it would be great but it didnt the beat was to calm for the message.....
