Hey Jack. Received the concealment wallet yesterday and I wanted to say they were very well made. The design is super practical and the Uticlip works perfect. Planning on getting a review of it up sometime in the next week. Thanks for another great product.
Another good one is Rapid Dominance (doesn't look military, it just has that kind of name). I got the black one & it worked great- even spilled drinks on it & things stayed dry on the inside. It's not "waterproofed," but an idea is that you could mix 100% silicone caulk & mineral spirits to paint on for that.
I have been using sling packs and messenger bags for years. If I were to carry off body with that particular bag, I would switch your pull and zippers to go the opposite direction for a right handed person. I believe you'd get a more natural pull and draw. Just a observation and a suggestion for you to consider. I like your videos, keep up the good work.
Try a consideration. While you might think it appears bogus, ... blue levis carpenter/farmer pants. Normally, a belt loop for a hammer on the left leg (but a carry for a hatchet or axe when hiking/camping/bugging). On the right leg is the greatest option. There is a double deep pocket on the left leg. With a horizontal and a diagonal lip, these pockets fit snug on the leg. That snugness is great for a (no holster) pistol carry. Perfect location for a carry (no floppy holster grabbing everything). Can also snug a knife or machete sheath tip in the same pocket for a belt-hung anti-brush grabbing and flopping carry. Installing a plastic or leather pocket wall allows easy slide in/out the pistol in the standing and sitting position. Then arm/wrist/hand is perfect situated for quick drawing with the pistol/knife/machete. Make a small levi belt loop with sewn on velcro tabs on the ends. Sew on velcro tab to pocket lip and above the pocket. This is a grab the pistol and tear away belt loop at the same time and use ...versus the obstruction of the hard holster flap and latch. The tear away belt loop does not interfere with shooting the pistol or accuracy. Pistol fits so snug against the leg, never go back to any other holster arrangement on the body. Better than looking like a paramilitary camou BDU or BDU pocketed pants prepper wannabe, ... just put a straw in the mouth (or a carpenter's pencil in the cap, and look like a farmer (or carpenter) gray man and not be noticed.
I prefer the Chrome Messenger Bags. They don't have as much pockets which I like. But you have much more room for bigger stuff if that makes any sense.
I love your videos man. I do agree the background noise was a little distracting, but I sucked it up and pushed through. It wasn't THAT bad. However, I would suggest on a video like this where you're doing content of the bag, an indoor shoot would allow you to really lay the gear out so your viewers can really see what you carry. On some of your other videos, the outdoor theme is just perfect. Appreciate the time and effort you put into stuff like this.
How would you compare this model to their Commuter Slingbag and Tansit slingbag? And in case you need to rush something, can you really run with this model or will it bump into your hip too much to be practical when one need to love fast or walk longer periods? Please let me know what you think. Thanks fir a great review.not sure of the sling-bag or this one.. so any tips and suggestions would be appreciated :)
Great video, great gear!! I always over pack my EDC. You know, more size, more stuff! I've got a strong medical background, so my EDC becomes a tactical response kit, without much room for EDC! I also have another med kit with a higher level of gear I lug around sometimes. I'm also a retired cop, so even more gear. But anyway, I like this bag!! I think it be the perfect 3in1 bag? Plus the plate carrier? Gonna check it out some more. Thanks for the video!🦉
My last trip to NY city I looked intentionally and saw almost everyone who carried some sort of bag carried a backpack. There were a few messenger bags and briefcases but very few.
JR! Like the new bag brother! Tons of options, muted color scheme, and it looks really sturdy. The thought never crossed my mind to add an AR500 plate! Thank you once again for expanding my mind!
What about your tan Cannae Gear?, did you ditch it because it was too tactical also...btw walking a long distance with a 20+ lbs. messenger bag sounds painful.
Awesome kit man. Must be like 25-30 lbs but looks like each item is worth its weight. though if you were to stop a bullet with the plate the ipad pro would be ruined.Maybe just put a ar 500 screen protector on it...
if ya don't eat shit food, you don't need that stuff, and go to the restroom regularly like a grownup and you don't all of a sudden randomly have to shit your pants.
Here is my thought process. I have a Rothco military backpack that I bought about 2 years ago. I use it every day. The top part of the pack near where the straps are at has unraveled. Pack still works. I'm looking at getting a new EDC pack and converting the Rothco into a GET HOME bag that I will leave at work. I'm also looking at getting another pack to leave at my girl's home. Diversifying my bags so that I have access to wherever.
Yeah, I'm looking at Vertx, TAD and 3V Gear. Price is not necessarily a concern for me as in quality, durability and reliability. I also have an Osprey Atmos 65 that is my Bug Out Bag. Messenger bags are cool however, for me, after long periods of usage I tend to start having shoulder pain, especially when I start to put extra stuff. So backpacks works for me. Nameless 777, I appreciate all the advice you have given. Thanks!
Video is great, really enjoy having a place to learn all this stuff and suggestions on gear to use. I know this is irrelevant but I'm dying to find a link to those sunglasses!
just a guess but i think there oakley holbrook www.oakley.com/en/mens/sunglasses/lifestyle-sunglasses/holbrook-trade-/holbrook-polarized/product/W0OO9102P/?skuCode=OO9102-62&categoryCode=m02&size=
Great video. I have been sporting the DA Dragon Egg as my EDC but I am shelving this due to the tactical look. I need something more low key and professional looking for my job in the medical field and have opted for a leather messenger (purchased in Africa) bag and a backpack by Tumi that looks professional/great. Looks like you have your messenger loaded out my friend? I disagree with not being able to use a backpack if it looks professional and low key--just my two cents. Thanks my friend for a great video.
I like your review, is there big enough to carry a shirt, a pair of work shoes, a vest and a pair of working gloves? By the way, will you be doing a review on the TRIPLE AUGHT DESIGN'S PARALLAX MESSENGER BAG?
Thanks for saying I look weird lol! As a service dog handler, I have to carry a backpack. I think more are carrying backpacks these days. Everyone at my job does. But its literally impossible to walk with a dog leash crossways on you 24/7 and carry a purse. Even crossways that way. So, by force I look weird with a backpack. Lol! Oh well! I also carry some things for him so its a daily heavier load then most.
BlackScoutSurvival Sorry, I meant in everyday sense. Not in like an emergency sense. Dog would be the first to go in a grey man's senario. But, everyday wear, he prevents a messenger bag type of wear.
interesting bag. I have one of their backpacks. I carried messenger bags for years, but if I have to overload for some reason, the backpack really shines. btw, did you film this at a bus station? seems the content could stand a quieter location. none the less, good info.
Curious about your feelings regarding Hazard 4? I've always thought they were quality gear, a little expensive I'll give you that. Great video though, I like your setup!
Hey you stated depending on your situation my situation is I keep my nose out of that s*** therefore you wouldn't have a need for it. a real survivalist makes do with what his surroundings are
I live in the middle of a city and most people I see have backpacks, even in the business district. Hardly do I see messenger bags. I walk about 3 and a half miles to and from work, tried a messenger bag but a backpack is just more comfortable.
for my gray man bag I'm using a nike backpack. I don't want to bring any attention to myself or for those who watch this video will associate that brand with gear. beautiful bag tho. semper fi brother
To be honest it looks more like ..let's fit as many products we sell into the pack as possible .. a huge bag like that would make me think he has supplies as make him stand out as if everyone is carrying bags like this or ruck sales .. the ones which looks alot bigger and fuller will stand out more .. not very greyman more salesman
For me, I don't find myself in a situation where I get that far so I use the vehicle as the heavy lifter while I keep on my that which gets me back to said vehicle. I do like the fact that you're trending away from a backpack too. Everytime I think about a backpack I think about the two or three extra steps required to access what is in it.
Last two videos you posted have terrible sound quality. All I can hear is background noises birds chirping cars driving by it really takes away from the video
BlackScoutSurvival just trying to help. I try to multi task and watch your videos at work with a single ear bud in but the background noise makes it hard. Maybe the quality is too good. But hay while I have your attention, are you planning any more videos on the new 4Runner?? And if so could you include some of info on parts manufacturers?
Troll somewhere else bud. It's his bag. I edc more than that in my bag. I prepare for my day my way, he prepares for his. Save your judgement for someone listening
all i see is a bunch of sore pussies here. Dude makes great videos. your bitching is worse than the ambient noise. keep up the good work BlsckScoutSurvival. Ignore the sheep.
In order for this guy to become a gray man he would have to shave his face and dye his hair blond and maybe gain some weight or lose a lot of weight he's made himself a celebrity on RUclips LOL
I like that as an urban EDC bag. It definitely doesn't scream tactical. Great video by the Vista!
Hey Jack. Received the concealment wallet yesterday and I wanted to say they were very well made. The design is super practical and the Uticlip works perfect. Planning on getting a review of it up sometime in the next week. Thanks for another great product.

That is a great set up. Very well thought out. I agree on a Messenger bag for day to day. Back pack in my truck👍🏻🤛🏻
I've debated carrying soft armor for at least handgun resistance. Goood on you keeping this bag organized so yo use it every day
That pocket with the pistol is big enough that you could carry an SBR with a collapsible stock. Very cool.

Keep up the great videos!

Great setup! Can you do an update on the bag and contents, as to what you carry or recommend at least in 2022
Where did you get that meaning black bag that had to medical equipment I need to find something that small
What kind of med pouch is that? I like that its a tear away, thanks!
Backpacks are 100% normal on every college campus in the US. Pure Gray Man.
DCavalcade I'm too old and don't hang out on college campus

What happens if no one in the baseline is walking around with a backpack full of shit?
I'm just north of you off I-26 in Tn. Stay safe brother.
In Germany this bag would set me back about 500 bucks.... crazy. good video mate!
JR! Like the new bag brother! Tons of options, muted color scheme, and it looks really sturdy. The thought never crossed my mind to add an AR500 plate! Thank you once again for expanding my mind!
Maybe I missed it, but would you consider adding a cliff bar or some type of snack?
What about your tan Cannae Gear?, did you ditch it because it was too tactical also...btw walking a long distance with a 20+ lbs. messenger bag sounds painful.
I like the bag overall. Nice set up that velcro future is cool.
hey where can I get that fixed baled knife?
What type of med pouch or what the name of the pouch with the hook and loop
Where is that medical pouch from and where can I buy one
okay now that we all got our EDCs together are backpacks our survival gear and our wits about us, may the best man win..!!!
Ron Calabrese Hunger games for real
Nice load out brother!
I had no clue you were an SC guy! Nice to see
I had a feeling you from down here. West of the river.
Awesome kit man. Must be like 25-30 lbs but looks like each item is worth its weight. though if you were to stop a bullet with the plate the ipad pro would be ruined.Maybe just put a ar 500 screen protector on it...
Was this filmed in Columbia, South Carolina 🤔
Can we get an updated bug out bag video.
Wow can't imagine dragging that around just to get milk lol
what kind of velcro medical pouch is that?
Drone!
I wonder how often homeruns break the windows in that brick building up against that stadium.
How can I get that cool cap? I would like to purchase it
I'd like to see that bag pass airline inspection
just a joke man... all that gear in there lol
I know mine wouldn't pass inspection but you would never catch me at an airport
Yep carrying around a backpack is obtrusive, then pulls out a messenger bag the size of a duffle bag…lol
So how much does this setup weigh? Is it comfortable to carry around all day?
+JKC 10lbs. Yes for me. But I'm a man
Thanks!
I heartily recommend the EDC of some Imodium, you never know when it could come in handy, and it's lighter than carrying emergency pants ;)
if ya don't eat shit food, you don't need that stuff, and go to the restroom regularly like a grownup and you don't all of a sudden randomly have to shit your pants.
I just saw the EDC bag, I just wanted to know are you working on a black scout messager or backpack.
Hi BlackScoutSurvival! Just purchased your DVD last night. Now that you have the Vertx EDC Bag, how do you compare it to the TAD Fastpack EDC?
+sirebumf awesome man. Thanks. Vertyx hands down bro
Thanks for the prompt reply. Looking forward to learning from the DVD. One last question; when are you planning on scheduling classes?
nameless 777 Wow! That says a lot. Thanks for the input. Appreciate it!
Here is my thought process.

How is the build quality on the Vertx?
Dang, you were in Columbia (yeah, I'm a little behind on my videos...)? Was this a one-time thing?
Video is great, really enjoy having a place to learn all this stuff and suggestions on gear to use. I know this is irrelevant but I'm dying to find a link to those sunglasses!

Derrick Drennen yes

Great vid. I heard great things about hazard4 products. What's the reason u don't like them ?
How do I buy some Black Scout official gear?
+Travis Ford www.blackscoutsurvival.com
I like your review, is there big enough to carry a shirt, a pair of work shoes, a vest and a pair of working gloves?
By the way, will you be doing a review on the TRIPLE AUGHT DESIGN'S PARALLAX MESSENGER BAG?
Is this in downtown Greenville?
Great bag! Thanks for your videos! Is there anything you haven't put the brand on yet? :)
I don't get the not needing the space of a backpack because that messenger bag is pretty huge
Very good ideas, Thank you very much
That guy is going to carry that big bag around the whole day (EDC) bull sh##########*******
Anyone have any experience running a sub2000 in this bag?
What's the drone footage have to do with anything??
Columbia SC?

Dog is super noticeable. Not greyman and creates stimulus. If you want to disappear you’ll have to ditch the dog.
BlackScoutSurvival Sorry, I meant in everyday sense. Not in like an emergency sense. Dog would be the first to go in a grey man's senario. But, everyday wear, he prevents a messenger bag type of wear.
Roger that

Stay frosty stay strapped stay dangerous
Love the vertx products. I have the range a bag. a+ quality
Curious about your feelings regarding Hazard 4? I've always thought they were quality gear, a little expensive I'll give you that. Great video though, I like your setup!
+Brian Whitlock I had some of their gear. The stitching was off line. Also unraveling. And design flaws.
Hey you stated depending on your situation my situation is I keep my nose out of that s*** therefore you wouldn't have a need for it. a real survivalist makes do with what his surroundings are
Nice video, thank you for your service, sir!
+Cliff McKelvy thank you Cliff 👍
whoa! I live there too!
It's weird to carry a backpack ? WTF?
I live in London and most 'suits' in the city carries a backpack, messenger bags are for hipsters and far less popular here.
Tom Saint how is it weird to carrier a backpack
I live in the middle of a city and most people I see have backpacks, even in the business district. Hardly do I see messenger bags. I walk about 3 and a half miles to and from work, tried a messenger bag but a backpack is just more comfortable.
It's weird because that's how they try and get you to use the link and buy their sponsored hipster bag.
its not weird, you'll just look like a nerd or a hobo
for my gray man bag I'm using a nike backpack. I don't want to bring any attention to myself or for those who watch this video will associate that brand with gear. beautiful bag tho. semper fi brother
No high energy bars? A couple of MetRx bars would weigh next to nothing and give you the energy you need to carry that plate all over town.
+DCavalcade I carry epic meal bars. I just had eaten them all at this time of the video
I would like a backpack version of this bag
Reynaldo Rivera gideonistactical has a vid about his EDC bag, made by vertx (same company that makes this bag) you can look it up,
Bi Commander
thanks
Thanks for the insight
Great sound...
Now you tell me! Dang
That first aid kit looks nice, does that come with the bag or where can I find one?

Seems like overkill for an EDC thing but I'm guessing you are further from your car than I ever am from mine.
+blakefreak as an adult yes there are many times I'm far away from my SUV
For me, I don't find myself in a situation where I get that far so I use the vehicle as the heavy lifter while I keep on my that which gets me back to said vehicle. +blakefreak yes that is a good point.
you must of spent a fortune on all the contents of your Bug out bag.
Excellent intro...cheers
It's a mobile black scout store! Nice setup man!
Last two videos you posted have terrible sound quality. All I can hear is background noises birds chirping cars driving by it really takes away from the video
