You may have a vacuum leak causing the center vent to stay closed. Check the vacuum distributor block, it may be cracked and leaking. There is an ongoing thread about the block and the JB Weld DIY repair on Benz World...
Turns out nice! Use both cars for a ride to byars and then you'll know what to keep. If you had offered to old owner 200 bucks for the title he might've searched better... Anyway extra neat ride!
Mike, keep the Volvo, sell the ratwagon. Great job getting the RW on the road and legal!! All the other stuff should be good content, and simple to fix. The Volvo can be amazing though.
Seriously one of the best looking and best built cars of all time! This is a proper forever car!! And this coming from a Lexus guy, got 330,000 miles on my Lexus and I love it to death, but mad respect for these Benz ! Also that 850 wagon! I just drove my buddies 850 wagon full of stuff out to Tulsa from San Diego! Helping him move. He drove my Lexus haha. Now I get to drive me Lexus back to California ❤
I believe the thing over the rear view mirror may be a cell phone. I owned a 1995 S320 and it had some similarity to the button nomenclature, but my handset was in the center console, buttons on the dash.
Specially given how little you spent on it, I would definitely keep the E320 wagon! You've got a great, practical and reliable daily for many years to come right there.
I am trying to bring a 2013 bmw x3 back to life. Parked for two years non-running. I feel your excitement with every milestone of bring it back to life. Great video.
Oh boy, I've been waiting for this one, she looks so majestic and elegant. Yes more external shots showing the beautiful Mercedes in motion. Great work Mikey, and all for the measley sum of under $1000. Definitely keep this one,the Mercedes engines and drivetrain are unburstable, the volvo transmissions are fragile and prone to gearbox ECU maladies. You'll always find another volvo but these Mercedes are being covetted now so people are holding on to them.
Good job, Mike! If you don't need to keep a wagon for anything in particular (hauling parts, cars, pets, kids) just sell them and work your way up to a car that is easier to find parts for or isn't a nightmare to work on. It's funny to see you get mad, but it can't be good for your health lol.
Fantastic work Mike, love your videos, keep up with the amazing content. Probably wouldn’t choose the Volvo to keep but possibly that had more content with videos
Congrats man on another job well done! It's come a long way, that poor car. Enjoy it for a bit. Drive both and see which ya like. They both look great and fun. Those volvos with exhaust sound really good. Well as does those merc wagons. Hard choice heh.
I would keep the Rat Pack Mercedes Benz station wagon and sell all the other ones. Use some of the profits to fix the rat-wagon and the remainder to get a truck for towing.
Mike if you post you wonder wagon on bring a trailer, you should get at least 8,000 to 10,000 dollars if I where you I would keep the Rat Wagon, it turned out to be the best one of the three, by the way make a video of you selling the volvo and the Wonder wagon, that would be cool
If the Volvo is newer and/or has lower mileage, I would sell that due to the potential increased return on investment. If the Benz is doing well, I would hang onto it for the following reasons: 1) you have less into it and would probably get less for it due to age. 2) The Volvo might well be easier to find a buyer for as it hasn't the stigma of higher parts and repair costs. and 3) The Benz is more like what you are used to working on making it easier for you to maintain and keep in tip-top running order plus, as you implied, you most likely have a lot of the miscellaneous parts needed to keep it going already in stock.
I love the Ratwagon it was an interesting project and it came out pretty well but i am just waiting you to show more of the Volvo wagon that is to me a lot more interesting car than the Mercedes...
You, you didn't take Benzo in his trade name wagon? Well Dang it! Congrats on the Rat Wagon being legal at last. Keep this one and sell the Volvo since your forte is Mercedes Rescues.
For sure you have to keep RAT wagon 👏🏼
You may have a vacuum leak causing the center vent to stay closed. Check the vacuum distributor block, it may be cracked and leaking. There is an ongoing thread about the block and the JB Weld DIY repair on Benz World...
Great job on the Rat wagon Mike. Looking forward to the next video, love the content.
Awesome job, congrats on a great job.
Hey Mike gr8 job on the rat wagon. She looks beautiful. The rims just set her off. Get the Volvo going and make them compete for your love 😊.
keep the VOLVO ! great video!
She wants to stay on the road and she looks awesome after the wash.😊👍
I am not a Mercedes person. But I enjoy your Mercedes rescues
I love every video on these glorious 124 estates, but you really should keep the turbo brick for at least a little while.
Happy for your that she is running and she is inspected now and has tags to drive her.😊👍❤️
Digging the rat wagon. But like the Volvo as well!
You even got a personalized plate 🐵🔧Mike, for no extra charge lol. Me too 🤔 My three letters RCR ( Really cool ride 😂. Wagon looks great 🔥👏👏👍. 🫡 Mike
Great video Mike. Great to see the old wagon coming back to life. Great job keep up the great work!
You did good on the car.😊
Turns out nice! Use both cars for a ride to byars and then you'll know what to keep. If you had offered to old owner 200 bucks for the title he might've searched better... Anyway extra neat ride!
She came out looking good nice job Mike 👏
Awesome Mike. 😎😎👍👍So glad that you got her straight 👏👏
You worked so hard getting those two cars back on the road
Glad to see a video where you are back to your happy self!
Mike, keep the Volvo, sell the ratwagon. Great job getting the RW on the road and legal!! All the other stuff should be good content, and simple to fix. The Volvo can be amazing though.
t
This project had some of the funniest moments on the channel, with the deliverance moment with Randy and the rat traps! Awesome job Mike!!
Congrats Mike! She is looking great!
She will shine up great with a multi stage detailing. I'm glad those stupid cupholders are going into the garbage.
Omg I love the 3 wagons we love to see it 😂😂keep it up Mike! 😂
Good morning. Good to see you again.😊👍
As usual, Great job, makes all the hard work worth it, thank you Mike for the great content.
Be safe and careful.😊👍🙏
Congratulations Mike you deserve it after all you've been through......❤️🔥👍🏽💯
What’s he been through??
How about a wagon competition? Categories like comfort, power, mileage, thumbs up from other drivers.... What do you think?
Awesome Mike great job! 🎉🎉👏👏👏.Keep the first rat wagon , but in the end you know best always. 💪💪💪👍💕
Hi Mike I am happy you got the title I loved that wagon even when it was a mess I like the rat wagon wished I had one
Love those cars 😊
Great video.👍

Those two cars are just beautiful together
You should've take it to Randy to see it or invite him over
My accumulators were bad too! Change motor mounts too and you’ll be all set
Keep the wagon! Please Mike!! It’ll be so fun and a joy to own
Air out of the defrost could still be a vacuum issue getting into the cabin climate controls.
so glad is running mike keep it looks good
I believe the thing over the rear view mirror may be a cell phone. I owned a 1995 S320 and it had some similarity to the button nomenclature, but my handset was in the center console, buttons on the dash.
Wouldn't it be the garage door opener instead ? This option is always located near the rear view mirror in MB
Love the content on this Mike.more please!👋
She looks great
Really like the day in the life style videos!!! Looks absolutely magnificent, keep up the hard work Mike!
😊 liking 👍 👌 the ups and downs and the cursed accumulations 😅😅
Specially given how little you spent on it, I would definitely keep the E320 wagon! You've got a great, practical and reliable daily for many years to come right there.
Great job and have enjoyed every minute of all your hard work
Really love this Benz great job Mike
the panel by the center console light is your short cut for cell phone - memory saves for frequent numbers :)
I am trying to bring a 2013 bmw x3 back to life. Parked for two years non-running. I feel your excitement with every milestone of bring it back to life. Great video.
Great job Mike !
Love those Wagons i would drive the hell out of that long as i could
Nice 😊
Looking great
Mike, I thought that GRWM was for Gross Rat Wagon Mercedes before you explained it 🤣😂 Looks almost mint now 👍👍

Keep the Mercedes, it’s more your style 😎. I’m sure
the Volvo is wonderful. Tough Choices !
I think something simple like tint the windows it would look so much better and small cosmetic stuff and she would be a tone better , God Bless
You definately need to keep the rat wagon Mike it’s a lovely looking car.
Looking good Mike.
I like both of them but since you own them that is your decision which one you keep and which one you sell?😊
I'd say keep the Volvo if it drives well. Many people are into old Mercs, but old Volvos don't get as much love nowadays.
Keep this! Nothing will be nicer than a Mercedes, Rats or not!!
Fantastic work Mike, love your videos, keep up with the amazing content. Probably wouldn’t choose the Volvo to keep but possibly that had more content with videos

Buttons above the mirror were for the original factory analog phone. Was really an expensive option.
I misread that thumbnail and thought we were making it "LETHAL".
Hello Mike aka Monkey Wrench Mike. Finally getting the title on the Rat Wagon.
Congrats, well deserved👏😎
I vote that you sell the Volvo and keep the rat wagon. You look good in that Mercedes Benz. Congratulations on finally getting the rat wagon legal.
I would keep the Rat Pack Mercedes Benz station wagon and sell all the other ones. Use some of the profits to fix the rat-wagon and the remainder to get a truck for towing.
Mike if you post you wonder wagon on bring a trailer, you should get at least 8,000 to 10,000 dollars
if I where you I would keep the Rat Wagon, it turned out to be the best one of the three, by the way make a video of you selling the volvo and the Wonder wagon, that would be cool
I think the Volvo would be a good car to keep, but I must agree the rat wagon is petty awesome. Keep both and sell the other Merc SW
Have u ever seen an C63 at copart?
The 2008-2014 Version with V8
If the Volvo is newer and/or has lower mileage, I would sell that due to the potential increased return on investment. this is late, but i hope you kept the Wonder Wagon. It got this amazing 6 cyl Merc engine, and the car design of those 90 ties Mercedes ...
Keep the Volvo and get A REAL w124 wagon…. One with a Diesel and a Manuel trans 😊😊
Mercedes all the way!
Mike should keep the Volvo because they are tanks 🤠👍🍻
Keep the Volvo Mike 😎😎👍👍
Keep that one!
I love the Ratwagon it was an interesting project and it came out pretty well but i am just waiting you to show more of the Volvo wagon that is to me a lot more interesting car than the Mercedes...
Mercedes all day.
Keep the ratwagon. It’s rare & in good condition
I’m betting deep down you’re more comfortable in the MB than the Volvo 🤷🏻♂️
Keep the rat wagon. Hands down, it's the choice. So much history. And a great looking car. Why would you choose anything else?
When is janice coming back to the channel
A Kobota or a car, nothing to think about of course the Ratwagen.
Rat wagon all the way Mike!
I would choose the Benz wagon
I like that yeah buddy
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You, you didn't take Benzo in his trade name wagon? Well Dang it! Congrats on the Rat Wagon being legal at last. Keep this one and sell the Volvo since your forte is Mercedes Rescues.
Is this wander wagon still there?
Monkey wrench Mike you made me want to buy a Mercedes wagon haha 😄
You already have Mercedes cars so now you need to keep the Volvo. And since I'm from Sweden I am not partial at all ;.) Please keep the Volvo Wagon.
I knew u could do it
How much do you want for the wagon?
There's no shame in keeping 3 permanent cars. A German, A Swedish, A British.
sell , sell, sell... then p/u another car thats in better shap than what you sell....
Hands down, would keep the Benz...🚙
