This is the FIRST real video I've seen that someone shows HOW to make things by they're own from ZERO to 100. CONGRATULATIONS, for your creativity, for your kindness, for your showing HOW TO MAKE SOMETHING WITHOUT MONEY. Every now and then I see people showing really unafordable materials; and that's really dissapoiting to someone who's starting in this incredible universe of recycling papers. I LOVE ALL YOU'VE SHOWN, your 3 videos are just AWESOME, and better; your kindly have shared them to us in your page. Again, TYSM and I hope you have ALL THE SUCCESS 🥰❤❤❤❤
You left me such a beautiful comment, thank you so much! I really appreciate you saying all this. A few years ago, when I was starting my junk journal journey I used to get so disappointed too, and all because I didn't have all the tools and supplies. When you think about it, we can do so much with just basic stuff, that is available to most of us, and have fun and enjoy the creative process. That's what it's all about. ❤️❤️❤️
Also, watch Treasure Books. She never uses printables. I love Natasa too. She also has a really amazing back story, having been a refugee from Croatia to Australia as a little girl. She has a video about this and how her love of paper began. She's actually the sole reason why I make journals and anything useful with paper. 🥰
I recently found your channel and have really enjoyed watching several of your videos. I think you do some amazing work, and you're really good at teaching. Thanks for sharing all of your techniques. And that's very kind of you to share free printables. I'll be watching more.....
This is what junk journaling was originally meant to be, using junk mail or other materials that would have been discarded as "junk" but can become beautiful and economical craft materials. Enjoyed watching!
I’m really glad you enjoyed this! It was so much fun for me, too! Any excuse to get art supplies out and make some colorful mess is welcome and what better way to play than with recycled materials. 😀
I agree. I don't care for ephemra that is made from purchased papers that are e simply cut out & pasted onto card stock. Might as well just buy someone else's journal. It's not creative, and lots of people have the same art.
That's exactly why I didn't purchase the kit with all of the templates. There was no creativity except which papers I could choose. I just don't fit into that restrictive type of craft. It ceases to be creative. Just a cut and glue journal
Thanks for publishing the timestamps for all the wonderful junk journal parts you are showing the process of making (speeds up note taking and I am sure I am not the only one studying here). 12:47 The 4x6 stamp you created is awesome, I will try to recreate it for myself. Also this gives me an idea that I should order extra stamping blooks, pre-assemble stamp compositions (most frequently used) and just keep the stamps that way, pre-assembled. This will facilitate start of a process during slow times (when there is a desire to be productive but not enough inspiration for a cool art). 22:17 The index card dividers with tabs and charms are envious, one will want to start a new recipe box just for an opportunity to use them. 36:36 This exact spot gave me an idea to create a lot of funky and whimsical framed windows for BD and Christmas wishes to be presented in pockets in cards. So gonna do that!
What an excellent way to recycle packaging!! Thanks for showing how you made specimen cards. And your ready made stamp for postcards are also a great idea.
You're amazing, thank you so much for a fantastic tutorial. Isn't it great how you get so many tags etc, out of all the packaging. It's a great saving too, as these can be quite expensive when purchasing them already made. Plus your personal touch makes a lot of difference. Take care, and have a lovely weekend. 😊❤xx
Over the years, I`ve watched so many crafters, and yet, you are the first I`ve seen who doesn`t use a Crop-A-Dile. I`m so glad that I don`t need to buy it because it`s so expensive. I like your tool so much more. It`s light and small, and you achieve the same result. I love how you do things. I`m not a journaler, but I loved watching your creative process. Thank you very much for the inspiration❤
Thank you so much for the kind comment. I really appreciate it. ❤️😊 That small tool I use works really well on the eyelets and it's light in hand, easy to use. I have a Crop-A-Dile, but I use it rarely, only if I have to punch a hole through many layers of fabric and card stock, it's great for that. I used different tools for that in the past and to be honest, I'd rather if I spent the money on something else. The Crop-A-Dile is good, but not worth the money I paid for it, because I don't use it often.
@@Saacibo With this comment, you are confirming what I`ve been thinking throughout the years. I just didn`t know what other tool to buy. It so happens that I found one like yours among my father`s tools. Thank you for taking the time to reply❤ Friendly greetings from Slovenia 😊
I love all of the beautiful ephemera you were able to create with the backgrounds you did the last video. I really like how you used every bit up. You have truly embraced the “junk journal” way of doing things. What is so incredible is how you can create such stunning pieces from what others would consider trash. You are so creative and generous. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. ❤

Such a great idea to turn trash into treasure. I love the idea. Thank you so much for such wonderful inspiration. Thank you for the backgrounds as well. Love them.
I can’t believe you turned this junk into beautiful ephemera. I just found your channel this week and love what you do!! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
I loved this video. I remember you covering the boxes and making gorgeous backgrounds on them. Now we got to see you actually cut them up and turn them into beautiful ephemera and other useful things to put in a jj. TFS!❤
Thank you , I thoroughly enjoyed watching you create these beautiful pieces of ephemera! What an amazing creative mind you have and a lovely way of sharing it with others .😊
Love how these turned out. I'm astounded at the small amount of scraps you have left for the bin. Hardly anything !! You are amazing The pocket with the bicycie is my faviorite
That's great! It's really easy to make and it lasts a long time. It never really goes off. I got the punch from AliExpress last year. Long shipping but great price.
So much beauty out of what would normally be paper waste and so much journaling material at no cost! Your videos are so inspiring, I really love spending some time resting, drinking tea and seeing the entire creative process unfold. Hvala puno i pozdrav iz Švajcarske 🙏💚
I enjoyed watching your tutorial, it opens my eyes what we can do with the rest of the stripes.. Frames 🧡🙉🧡 and as I said million of times before, you are such a great and lovely creative person, who brings in a calm way joy to everyone 😊😘😊
Certainly the best video I've seen with so much input and having the 3 part series was an absolute feast 🎉 so glad i found yr channel. Now i can 'binge' without feeling guilty. Live your work. From Denmark 🇩🇰
Can’t believe you use all the packaging. I always cut it off and get rid of it. This is so much better. Just discovered your channel so will go back to others. Thank you
Wow thank you!! I love watching and listening to the journey you are leading me on bout (real) junk Journaling. I craft and you really got me to think about really using what I got to work with. I have used recycled packaging but now I think not in folds but the whole size I have. You really use up all of the box. It is so much fun making a one of a kind piece, I am binge watching today. You have a amazing creative mind. Thank you for sharing your talent. Can't wait to see what you are going to do next❤
Superb use of free resources, I watched the first one prepping backgrounds and am loving this video too with all the suggestions of what to make with them. Really professional looking finish on your items too, I'm very impressed and can't wait to try some of these! Tfs
You gave me a lot of inspiration, you are very creative. I like very much your video because you do everything on camera, every part of the creative process. You really use many thinks around your house. Thanks so much for your time and I ‘d like to see many other video! Hugs from Rome !
It's absolutely fascinating to watch you cut up those decorated bits. How creative! Since I give away all the journals I make at Little Free Libraries and other free spots, I really love how you reuse what others would consider junk. I usually use packaging only for the backing but that's surely going to change after watching this series. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to other possibilities. (Oooo, do you have a vid how you cut up other stamps to make a custom stamp as you did to the postcard one? Very ingenious!)
I'm really glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment. I don't have a video on making custom stamps but you just gave me an idea to make one on that topic, so thank you very much ❤️😊
Hello DRagana what a beautiful video triptych! I love when recycled materials are used, paper, paint, within everyone's reach. Many materials for scrapbooking and junkjournaling are expensive and you need a lot of them....sometimes it seems like you never have enough to achieve certain results...or so it can seem watching many videos. I love when people help us make beautiful things and develop creativity using simple and seemingly poor materials. For this I thank you and I appreciate your ability to offer tutorials that enable everyone to produce something nice and appreciable using what they have and helping us step by step in the realization. One question, if I may. When you cut the various packaging to make them into postcards, index cards, tags, etc., do you follow standard measurements? do you let yourself be inspired by the shape of the cardboard? What are the index card, tag, postcard sizes you recommend and which can then be used in most journal formats? Thanks for your reply and congratulations on your teaching ability. Send love⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘
I'm so glad you are enjoying the recycling videos! Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comments. To answer your questions: I try to make postcards 6x4 inches. I make index cards a bit smaller but I don't really have the size that I stick to, usually 3.5 x 5 or something like that. With tags I do whatever looks good. Hope this helps 😊❤️
Totally fabulous, I thought I had too much packaging and was thinking of throwing it out but now I am feeling inspired to use them. Thanks so much for sharing Hugs and Smiles Also thanks so much for the freebies
New subbie here. I had packaging saved and just put it in the recycle bin. Wish I had of seen this tutorial yesterday. (Isn’t that always the way, ). Great ideas, TFS. Not to go watch 1 and 3…
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing. Oh, I know what you mean. I discarded a lot of old and damaged books, documents, postcards, letters, magazines and such a few years ago. A few months after that I got into junk journaling. I still get upset when I think about it 🤣🤣🤣
Love your work Dragana!! I'll never look at another packaging box the same again! :) Does your eyelet setter work well? Where did you get it and is it for a 5mm eyelet? Thanks xo
I'm so glad you liked the video. I got the eyelet setter from a shop called Spotlight 4-5 years ago. It came in a set with 5mm eyelets in different colors. Here's their website www.spotlightstores.com I'm not sure if they deliver worldwide, I was visiting Australia at the time I bought it.
I love that you use your ink pad to ink the edges. I never understood why people think you need dobbers to edge their cards. Do you put these under books to make them flat? I was just wondering if they fold up or curve up at the seams? I have read the comments. I don't think there is much more I can say other than "ditto!!" ❤❤
Oh, I actually don’t like the sound those daubers make, and it’s actually much faster and more efficient this way. For soft applications I like to use those make up brushes rather than daubers. I place cards under books to flatten them more. Thank you so much for watching and commenting😊❤️
I love these! This is my next project. But I have a few questions. 1. What can I use for windows if I don't have a laminator? 2. What is acetate? The little pictures? Is there another way to make them? Love your content. I'm your biggest fan 🎉🎉🎉
Hi! Glad you liked them. You can use acetate ( which is plastic, also called transparency film) It comes with some packaging, great way to recycle. You can print little pictures on acetate but it would have to be with laser printer. Ink jet would rub off immediately. I’ve shown this in one of my old videos. Hope this helps 😊 Jazzed Up Specimens From Altered Playing Cards #alteredplayingcards ruclips.net/video/XhNznGT-6Gs/видео.html
Love your style and creativity! Can I make a suggestion about your camera? Is it at all possible to have it zoomed in more? Although I love the overview of your desk and all the items, I find it difficult to see what you are doing exactly. It would really help if you would consider filming just a little more zoomed in on your hands and the project at hand. Thanks so much for sharing❤
Thanks so much for watching and for the feedback! I appreciate it. I've been switching from the overview to zoomed in more lately, especially when I'm working on something small. Perhaps, I can do even more of that in the future😊
That’s great! You can make them yourself easily. I have a video on that topic. Here’s the link Picking, Pressing, Storing and Using Dried Flowers in Junk Journals ruclips.net/video/PQ10edm3JhI/видео.html
I’m not sure what you’re asking me, but I’m going to assume it’s about the glue I used to adhere vellum to the card. It is called Magic Fix by Cadence. It’s similar to art glitter glue. 😊

Baš mi je drago da ti se svidjelo Danijela! Hvala ti što gledaš i pratiš ❤️❤️❤️
Wow! You are awesome!❤
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
New to your channel, this was great watching you create the papers and then cut them down, all beautiful items! Gorgeous!!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing ❤️❤️❤️
Totally fabulous, I thought I had too much packaging and was thinking of throwing it out but now I am feeling inspired to use them. Thanks so much for sharing Hugs and Smiles Also thanks so much for the freebies
My pleasure! Glad you liked the video! Thank you so much for watching ❤️😊
I still get upset when I think about it 🤣🤣🤣
Love your work!
Thank you so much 😊❤️
I would like to say what everyone else is saying.......you are very awesome!!!
Thank you very much ❤️❤️❤️
This is very inspiring! Thanks.
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it 😊❤️
these are awesome! thank you!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching 😊❤️
Here's their website
www.spotlightstores.com
I'm not sure if they deliver worldwide, I was visiting Australia at the time I bought it.
Thank you so much for the freebies...can I use them in journals I sell? xo
You're very welcome, and yes, you can use them in the journals that you sell 😊❤️
Love it! 💜
I'm really glad ❤️😊
I love your process thanks for the free printable I will will start saving packaging now including the acetate
I'm really glad! Thanks so much for watching 😊❤️
Beautiful and very inspiring!!!
Glad you think so! Thank you ❤️😊
I love that you use your ink pad to ink the edges.
I love your videos!!
Thank you ❤️
I love these!
Hope this helps 😊

Please do consider focusing more on your hands for the entire video. I usually watch on my phone and would really appreciate the more zoomed in view.
❤❤❤❤❤

@@Saacibo thanks much excited to try this
Did you print or stamp on the acetate for the charms?
I used packaging that came with silicone stamps. It had images already printed on the acetone. 😊❤️
Espero que possa traduzir esta mensagem para lhe puder agradecer todas as maravilhas que nos ensina, muito, muito obrigada.
You’re very welcome! I’m really glad that you enjoy my videos ❤️😊
Can you please share where you got the stamp to use on the backs of your postcards?
I got it from AliExpress a few years ago. I cut it all up and rearranged to make a postcard. I left the link in the description below the video 😊
@@Saacibo thank you!
You’re very welcome! I’m so glad you enjoy watching. ❤️❤️❤️
What d offline you using with the vellum ???
I’m not sure what you’re asking me, but I’m going to assume it’s about the glue I used to adhere vellum to the card. It is called Magic Fix by Cadence. It’s similar to art glitter glue. 😊
Do you have a stamp for the postcard?
I left the link in the description below the video 😊❤️
But on the post cards, there isn't a place on the decorated side to write anything.
I usually right on the other side and leave one just for decorating. 😊
🤩👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰
Thank you Karen ❤️😊
