I love playing with envelopes. I've seen lots of vides on them, but everyone does thier own thing and I can always learn more. I just watched 2 envelops as the cover for a small journal. Love the cascading envelops. I saw that video too !
I loved every one of these projects! Thank you! 🥰 And I would love to see the stacked envelopes and all the details you did to each one…especially using the napkins and embossing techniques. New subscriber here😍
Hi! Thank you for the ideas, and for asking for suggestions. I realize this is ten months on, and I hope you're still taking ideas from new viewers. My deal is, I have journals full of pockets and corners and envelopes and cleverly folded stuff copied from RUclips--all empty. What I need is ideas for neat tags and journaling cards and so on to fill the pockets. Even if they make me lose ground by incorporating more pockets. Decor templates also welcome.
I love the lace backing of the first item, and would suggest it be attached to a lining of cellophane to prevent anything inserted into the pocket from getting snagged in the lacy fabric while preserving the transparency.
Just found your channel. Fabulous ideas , thank you for all the work in sharing the ideas. Just adore the tiny cascading envelopes, anything miniature adds such a cute look. will now go back to look at you other clips. :)
Hi! I just found you on RUclips, and I love your style. I've subscribed and will be watching all your videos so that I can try out the ideas in my journals.
Brand new to the channel! Thank you for such thorough and beautiful tutorials. I've been interested in scrapbooking and papercrafting for ages, but I'm finally able to really dig into it to start crafting myself. I'm so excited and I appreciate such well-done videos. And thanks so much for everything - those extra tips at the end are brilliant!
Like the 1st one on a page as a tuck / pocket. It is patchwork !! My sister is a quilter. She tried and tried to get me to join in. Then, I started to alter small boxes. I sent her a pic of one of them and told her this was as close to quilting as I was going to get. She did like the 🎉. Said it was pretty the 1st one is really pretty with the three butterflys up the book page paper. The stacked envelopes are really cute. I've got a few ready to add to journals, but i know thst I'll need more as soon as i start to add them to journals. Di you actually joural on book ages ?
Genius idea to use the stylus for tracing the window! I've been pretty frustrated trying to figure out how to cut out the proper size but now I'm inspired to try again! Thank you. 😊
So beautiful and you can see your love for paper in all of those, like the peek through windows with some stamping behind, will give them a try! And will follow your adventures in the future.
Hello I am Wanda from Michigan USA. I am a new subscriber. I have seen a lot of journal tutorials but yours is by far the very best. I want to use your ideas but implement in a prayer journal with scripture and personal prayers and answers to those prayers. Thank you for this awesome tutorial. God Bless
❤These ideas fabulous 🤩 Can't wait to try the cascading envelopes. Quick question, the second way you made the envelopes seemed much easier - is there a reason for one over the other? Thanks again, very enjoyable -
Hello Kat, this is the first time I ever watched you, but you are a fellow Aussie (I hang my head in shame when I tell you that I am Victorian...). I don't know why you came up on my recommended list, but I am delighted you did. I very much enjoyed this video, but I was doing something so you did not have my full attention. I will be watching it again though because what I did see was great and I want to watch but take notes this time. I am currently taking a few months off journaling, but not off learning so thank you so much for sharing. Rose. PS I did subscribe and definitely liked your video.
I love envelopes and yours are gorgeous. Some new ideas for me. Love the napkin ones at the end of the video, enjoyed it thoroughly 👍 BTW new subscriber 😊
I really love your ideas and I love to use junk envelopes. I learned a trick recently for opening them when they come in the mail, now my husband is forbidden to open the mail. Simply cut a sliver along the short side of the envelope. You can then extract the contents and save the envelope in almost pristine condition. Hope you find this useful. Just found your channel and will certainly be watching your videos.
Just came across your channel and loved every bit of your decoration ideas for envelopes, plus a bonus of cascading mini envelopes plus paper clip ideas ❤ wow that was a real treat. Mange Tak from a new subscriber, Denmark 🇩🇰
That is a very nice tutorial. Loved it all. When u say you napkined…is it napkins on freezer paper and then glued onto the envelope. Is freezer paper same as wax paper …if not where do you get the freezer paper. Thanks for sharing…
The minute you swapped out the one image for the owl I hit the subscribe button owls are my favorite. I’m excited to utilize your ideas with the gazillion of accumulated book pages. I have especially paper clips that’s one thing that I struggle is how to make cute, hidden paper clips, you have a very nice style of creating great ideas and I enjoyed watching your video so new subscriber here! ❤ not to mention, I happen to notice we have the same thumb hole punch, the same cutting tool, sp your channel was meant for me to see.
I would love to see a tutorial on the diy envelopes you showed at the end of this video. They are simply gorgeous! In fact I will subscribe to your channel in hopes that you will get making such a tutorial.
