    Great Review Steve. I often forget that they still make this CUV. I am really surprised that
    Mitsu has remained a player in this market.

      Why? They are super reliable and discounted and have the longest warranty.

    Good review Steve. I'm looking forward to your review of the Outlander plug-in hybrid when that vehicle goes on sale. Also, if you have a chance, it would be nice to see a review of the new Outlander Sport with the larger of its two engines, the 168hp, 2.4 liter.

    Nice suv with a great warranty. I would love to see a review of mitsubishi's mirage g4 with a manual transmission.

    great review as always, just a minor thing, you said that AWC stands for all weather control, im pretty sure it stands for all wheel control

      Right...they sometimes refer to the w as weather in their press materials but you're right.

    I already have a Mitsubishi fridge and air conditioner. Should I complete the trifecta by getting an Outlander?

      I bought one with the safety package 2 months ago and I love it.

    Thanks for the great video. I drove this car last week, and wasn't a fan, but I really enjoyed your take on it.

    7 seater ? Durango for me.
    Thank you for RUclips's best car reviews.

      The Durango will give you 10 times the trouble. Chrysler FIat has terrible reliability and Chryslers in general for years have been at the bottom of the pile in quality. I would choose the Mitsubishi any day.

      lol. i own a dodge. it was a mistake buying one.
      typical american car. big engine but heavy, less reliable and less standard equip.
      The transmission has already been replaced and I will trade it before the warranty ends.

    Run an octane booster (case of 12 on Amazon) to get around the Premium Fuel price hike.

    Thank you for the video. How do you feel about the 3rd row? Regarding Safety collision from behind and comfort on long drive?

    How about the ES AWC 4 cylinder 5 passenger including but not limited to pricing, too? Thanks😊

  • @pedrofernandez3893
    @pedrofernandez3893 8 лет назад +1

    Steve, with current incentives, you can get a Journey V6 with AWD, 3 row seating for less than 25K. Now that's a bargain!

    • @stevehammes
      @stevehammes  8 лет назад

      True!

    • @pedrofernandez3893
      @pedrofernandez3893 8 лет назад +1

      And you know, it's not really a BAD car, specially if you get it with the V6. The 4 is just too weak for a 3 row vehicle. Plus Dodge is more likely to stay alive than Mitsubishi TestDriveNow.com featuring Auto Critic Steve Hammes

    • @joeb2588
      @joeb2588 8 лет назад +5

      I disagree. Mitsubishi makes a better vehicle I would say the dodge will be trouble...

    • @pedrofernandez3893
      @pedrofernandez3893 8 лет назад

      Well, at least you know Dodge will be around for a while, can you say the same about Mitsu?

    • @MrMopeake
      @MrMopeake 8 лет назад

      Mitsu is owned by Nissan, so I think they will be around. I bought an outlander two months ago from a Mitsu dealer but Nissan paid off my old car loan.

  • @Trades46

    Still a great priced compact SUV in the giant market these days. Sure the Escape, CR-V & CX-5 are more refined, but the Outlander is cheaper, better equipped and still a significantly better car than a Journey.
