    Picking my new 2016 Outlander up today after work. I'm confident that I made the right choice.

      My friends mom is in the crossover market. We just drove a 16 SE last night. And needless to say we left quite impressed.
      Very quiet smooth ride and current incentives kind of make it a no-brainer. Plus the bumper to bumper warranty and power train warranty it's really hard to beat.

      TJC450 That bumper to bumper warranty is definitely one of the things that sold it for me. Hard to refuse a warranty plan like that.

      I went with the ES as it works well for my needs. I am loving it. :)

    I have a 2008 V-6 with 250,000 miles with no issues. I love mine

    I have the V6 for 2 years. It does NOT require premium. It’s recommended. The 3rd row is awesome when grandparents come and visit and we all go out for dinner in the city. The small size makes it easier to park. The sawc is awesome in snow. The Toyo tires suck. Changed it to Nokian WRG3. It is quieter than my wife’s new civic hatch.

    Funny, but I just read that Kelly Blue Book just recommended this model as a best buy. And most of the other reviews I've read/heard have been very good for the Outlander. Oh well, it's all subjective anyway.

      Love mine! And I do have the additional media controls on my steering wheel. I don't have a leather interior but I love, love, love the basic interior I do have ; has excellent trim, in fact best basic interior I've seen in a SUV in it's class. No, it's not as peppy as some others - so less speeding tickets for me. Also, I use mine as a work truck and the length is excellent for me for all the stuff I have to get in there as an interior designer. Above all, I bought for safety rating, as I have been in a 70 mph head on accident caused by a texting driver. What's most important to you?

    I have a 2017 and I love mine! He’s kinda right on the third row seats..but in a pinch, they work for transporting small kids or your pet. It’s a four cyclinder but it accelerates Beautifully on the freeway and not to mention it has a comfy cabin. In.this price range you have Kia Sportage and Hyundai Santa Fe which are attractive cars but I when with Mitsu because it’s Japanese and on the long run I have more faith in Japanese than Korean. My brother had a Kia and it spent more time on the shop than on the road. Lol

    The 2016 Outlander has both apple car play and android auto. I got the 3 liter it averaged at 24 mpg with 50/50 city highway. I hope the reviewer be more accurate on the details.

    3:00 “soft and mushy ride” YES!!!!!! Soft riding vehicles are nice to ride, like most people, I am never going to do “spirited” , fast dangerous driving.

    You really want to like it, but then you go out of your way to structure your comments so that you can run it down? Typical American car journo: bags the little guy because that's what's expected. For example, if you find the handling mushy then you must hate almost every other vehicle out there because the handling is tighter than any of the direct competitors, and better than some of the premium market options in the segment. No Apple CarPlay? Oh noes! Hang on: what other vehicle in the segment has Apple CarPlay? Only 2 out of 36 vehicles in the segment. Yeah, it really bears mentioning, doesn't it? You only got 24mpg? Then you drive with a lead foot. I can get 24 combined while caning it. If I'm paying attention I can get 28-29 combined without real effort. And again: that's better than the majority of the segment. Could it be better? Sure. But it's already better than most. Yet you choose it as a target to run down?
    Very poor quality review.

    I'm looking for a rolling marshmellow - coming from a CX-5, I need a softer ride!

  • @TurfSurf
    @TurfSurf 8 лет назад +4

    The third roll seat is not a selling feature to me, it's totally useless and dangerous like you said. I like the v6 option, I like the overall proportion of the car which is way better than the hunchback CRV and the overbite Rev4, the 10 year PT warranty is good, and the SAWD is about as good as Subaru's Symmetrical AWD. It really needs a good designer to make over the face and give a better personality like Hyundai and Kia have done without overly using the chrome. My suggestion for Mitsubishi is more brushed, less chrome and improve the interior quality.

    P.S if your going to ever do a review on a vehicle make sure you do it on the best of its model like the GT. its way more features and options like a towing package roof rack folded mirrors some come with a panorama roof or sun roof has better audio options like blue tooth pandora nav Sirius and a car audio system by Rockford fosgate coming from some one that knows about this car and any Mitsubishi car then the average joe its an amazing car. i work with Mitsubishi

    Im considering a 16 outlander that comes from a dealer with 5 year warranty at a good price. I used ro drive a silverado but have kids now. Any regrets from someone who owned a 16 outlander with the eco tec engine? I drive 44k to and from work daily six days a week. So no truck for me. I test drove it tonight and the steering and suspension feel really tight. Is it suppose to?

    My pet peeve is car reviewers that complain of software rides. Guess what I want marshmallow in my daily driver ! What a joke of a review. Stick to reviewing cars no one drives like 911s and hellcats. I looks great. And it's a good price. Dude get a real job.

  • @RezaRaquib
    @RezaRaquib 8 лет назад +6

    He is recommending fold down the 3rd row seat? This review is a joke, 3rd row is one of the reason I bought the car. Seriously the so called experts are out of touch with family needs.

      +Reza Raquib - I have an outlander and there is no way im putting my kid back there unless im carrying a full car of passengers and have to. The point is its in the crumple zone if you get rear ended. Its not like the Honda Pilot 3rd row seat.
