The cul-de-sac he grew up in was destroyed when an alien ship crashed right into it. Eventually ADVENT tried to sell the idea of the "City Centers" to the families who lost their homes in the invasion. But Kevin saw right through it, Kevin believed the city centers were nothing but a "scam created by those alien DORKS!", and somehow found XCOM.
To be honest, fighting a sectoid would be shit your pants horrifying, if the first mission of xcom is anything to go by. They can control the minds of any of your squadmates and all of a sudden you're getting a face full of buckshot by a zombified squaddie

I've been watching this over the past few weeks. Though I haven't yet completed it this is probably my favorite RUclips series of all time. Incredibly thoughtful, high level gameplay, with humor and characters you care for and want to see succeed. It's better than television! Klaus, Zhou, Bossman, Raijin - all awesome. Seriously, man, great work! I especially love it when everything goes haywire and the game just punishes you and yet you somehow succeed and come out ahead.

1) I love that XCOM is back its the first series I watched of your channel. 2) Soldier: Name:Angel Fileris Gender: Male Nickname: AFileris Nationality: Greek Appearance: Tall( around 7 feet), Bulk, green eyes and brown spiky hair with slightly blonde extensions. Has a scar on his cheek, you pick which one and all over his body. Give accessories if you like(just not too crazy stuff). Biography: Angel was only a teen when the aliens first invaded. Greece fell easily due to the huge disadvantages that humans had. Besides that due to his rebelious attitude he kept fighting by sabotaging Advent transports and patrols. Due to his activities he was captured by advent and tortured to reveal his cooperatives. Thats when after 3 months XCOM arrived with a small group to save him and recruit him. On the way back, the heli that they were traveling was ambushed, in his attempt to save the xcom operatives, Angel had to fix the choppers engine from the outside, and although successful was shot and fell from the heli. Miraculously he survived although loosing his left arm in the process( not sure if there is a way to do that, if not just discard the missing arm and write badly injured.) From there he went under the radar, until recently when word came that XCOM is recruiting again.
Name: George Crawford Nationality: British Colour scheme: Red Biography: George was born before the first invasion in a world that has long since been destroyed by the Elder. He was 12 when the first invasion occurred and was living in the British city of Manchester, unfortunately due to the aliens tendency to destroy city centers his hometown of Manchester was quickly destroyed by the foul alien machines. He was saved from the same fate of most of Manchester by an XCOM mission that had been sent to locate and rescue survivors. The mission had been a complete failure, with all squad members killed but what it did achieve was a distraction, with most of the alien presence in the city focused on destroying the XCOM mission that allowed George to escape the Ill fated city. The later years of George's life were spent working for the new Advent administration as he didn't see any reason why they should be overthrown, he couldn't remember much about his childhood but what he did remember was that the world wasn't all it was cracked up to be by dissident groups. His role within Advent was as a part of the scavenger corps who were dedicated to tracking down abandoned military bases and disabling any wepondary found within. It was through this job that he freed his mind from the Advent. For one of his assignments was to disable any wepondary found in an old XCOM base. It was in there that he accessed the information reveling what the aliens really were, what they intended to do with us. So he ran and eventually came across a haven of free humans, now he wishes to make amends with Humanity for his service to Advent by joining XCOM.
Or you could call the sectapod Baba Yaga. If you don't know the story, Baba Yaga is a witch from Russian folklore, she lives in a house with chicken legs.
Name: Dubber Rucky Gender: Male Bio: Once a high rank operative of Xcom back before the fall. Douglas Rornty worked in secret to derail the regime on his own. Becoming a thorn in its side for quite some time, until he recklessly attacked a Sectopod trying to keep his squad alive. Captured by the Regime after a year he was recovered by the resistance thinking he was the Commander. Overjoyed they rescued such a highly trained Operative, to their surprise in a mix of brain damage and mental tampering he now believes he is a Rubber Ducky mutated into a man. For this action he swears vengence against the Regime and their "Anti-Bathtime ways". It has been said there is nothing that can be done to fix him but he still remembers all his training so they let him fight.
Your video series are, in my opinion the best training tools available for the xcom series. I don't say that lightly. The step by step point of view, the why, the how, can't be improved upon for this purpose. This is a lot of work, and it's well appreciated. Xcom veteran.
Hey Chris!! Long time fan here! Would love to assist this season! Name: Michael "Raze" Crenshaw Nationality/Race: American/White ***Bio*** Michael grew up as a gamer through and through. Along with his younger brother, Kevin, he was never one to back down from a challenge in any game or genre. FPS, strategy, sports, racing, fighting, puzzles, survival, you name it; he's played it, and excelled to the top of any leader-board along with his brother. At least until the first invasion, when advent killed Michael's parents and left the brothers to fend for themselves. Michael fled to the nearby forest with his brother, and into hiding. For years and years the brothers survived together. Turns out video games translated into several new skills for the boys. Michael used this experience and became an expert marksman within a few months. Strategy and combat tactics came easily to the brothers, who were able to practice their craft on dozens of unsuspecting Advent patrols. Their movements became bolder and even riskier as they looted supplies and intelligence from each fallen foe. One ambush in particular is what forced Michael's hand into joining XCOM. He never really cared what happened to the world after the invasion, it never really mattered. What mattered was his brother, and Michael would do anything to save him. Especially if it meant cleaving his way through any enemy who set foot in his path, even the Elders. "I will find you..." ~Michael I hope you can use him!

His parents have trained him in the shadows of urban centers, making him one hell of a tough street fighter and close-quarters specialist. About 6 months ago, his parents died when Advent finally found them. Ever since, he has been keeping low profile, waiting for the fabeled XCOM to come back. The second he saw a resistance propaganda poster in his hometown, he rushed to the closest resistance center, and enroled in the steps of his parents in the XCOM force.

Sylva "Artemis" Nyx Nationality: British Base Color: Dark Green Detail Color: Mint Green Bio:Being 7 at the time of the initial invasion Sylva was the witness of an alien terror attack in London. Seeing XCOM drop in and saving many civilians including her family, she was able to bond with a sniper that was hanging back to ensure the civilians safety. Only to see the sniper be shot by a thin man and begin to bleed out. Sylva rushed to the sniper picking up the sniper's pistol and firing at the thin man and managed to graze the alien sending it scurrying away. Sylva tried to keep pressure on the sniper's wound. When the squad's medic was able to reach the sniper she was already dead. Sylva then left that day a scarred child vowing to see the aliens fall. After the ADVENT coalition was founded Sylva would lose her parents due to them being collaberators in a fledgeling resistance. She was shipped off to an ADVENT reeducation camp although her mental scarring prevented much progress and she feigned loyalty to the ADVENT cause. After going through many foster homes she left the program and started seeking out the London resistance cell only to see it had been infiltrated and destroyed. Sylva was disapointed in how the London cell operated letting anyone join at any time. She attempted to contact the reapers after finding evidence of their existance through working to create a new resistance cell in London. Then she was contacted by XCOM...

Color Scheme: Dark green Biography: Talim was a young refugee from an remote island somewhere in Asia. His parents did all they can to protect Talim from the alien invaders. One day, XCOM original war was in this island for a mission to protect the citizens from the Cryssalids. Talim's parents were casualties from the war. An XCOM solder named Grelite found Talim and took him to the U.S. and eventually joined XCOM.
Soldier Name: Magnus ''That Guy'' Oddus Nationality: Dutch (Netherlands) Defining characteristic: Prevalent Purple / Attitude: Intense Bio: An odd fella that feels like he's always been with the resistance, or has he? even though documentation on this guy seems sparse, all the soldiers feel very familiar with him but have a hard time recalling any memories with him, in fact nobody really seems to know his name and refer to him fondly as ''that guy'.'Whatever his deal is, he has a burning hatred for xeno's and seems very eager to fight the good fight.
Name: Jonathan "Spartan" Drosendahl Gender: Male Nationality: USA Colors: Black and Dark Red Specials: Cool sunglasses, serious look Bio: Right after the aliens took over Earth, Jonathan and a few of his friends fled into the Rocky Mountains where they created a small hideout. They lived there peacefully for twenty years until Advent started sending patrols into the mountains to weed out the many Resistance camps there. One of those patrols had found their hideout, so in order to buy time for his friends to escape, Jonathan single handedly held a narrow mountain pass against the entire patrol. His friends successfully managed to escape, but he was never able to rejoin them after the battle. He wandered the mountains for weeks until he stumbled upon a large Resistance camp. There, he learned that the XCom Project survived and was looking for new recruits. Given his story, it was pretty clear that he was more than capable. And so Jonathan join XCom, hoping that one day he'd see his friends again and see Advent fall.

Solider Name: Riggan "Birdman" Thompson. Biography: Riggan was a famous actor who played Birdman, a very popular superhero film series from the 90s. Ever since those movies Riggan has slowly been forgotten, and he has been waiting for a chance to be remembered. He was in the middle of preparing a Broadway show which he wrote, directed, and starred in. Unfortunately the aliens invaded and he couldn't preform. Once the war ended the aliens wouldn't allow him to preform, so he joined xcom. Now Riggan has a chance to not play a superhero, but become one. Any class. He should look like the Birdman costume (Look up the movie Birdman for a good look), if thats not possible than if he looks like Michael Keaton than that also works. Name: Stephan Rhodan Codename: Tau Nationality: German Prefered Color-scheme: Black/white/orange with a helmet, skull bandana and skull facepaint Biography: Stephan was freed by an Xcom squad during their assault on an alien abductor and was brought back to Xcom HQ to undergo tests from Doctor Valen to find out why he had survived. Results where neutral, they didnt found out why he had surivived but could confirm that the aliens hadnt done anything to him yet. He didnt speak a lot in that time, but it was clear that he had a serious grudge against the aliens and was capable of fighting.They allowed him to join Xcom even though nobody knew anything about his past, expect of his name and a view information collected by his state. His training was short and went well, not revealing anything special, expect of a little talent to engineering and covered operations. He began working in the foundry and joined the debriefings of the covered operatives returning from the field, but never saw an actual combat deployment. When the aliens started to gain foodhold in the world, he was stationed as a covered op in a small town in the western Ucrain to watch for any sign of alien activity. When the aliens overrun Xcom HQ and Humanity fell under the rule of the alien suppressors, he went into hiding, until he heared rumors about the Xcom project being still allive......

Wil (Willa if female) Wake Was on a boyscout(girlscout) retreat when the invasion happened. The troop hid in the wilds as the war went down, turning into a guerrilla unit in order to survive. Now that the aliens are in control, offense is the best defense.

When the invasion happened they took everything. They killed his parents in front of him and took his sister and younger brother. His girlfriend got very ill and was on the verge of death. He did independent raids trying to get medicine while picking up other injured or ill survivors. Hey got the nick name caregiver for that. He was on the verge of giving up when the aliens found his safe house and burnt it down. Hey got everyone out but he was heart broken till the resistance found them all on a mission. They took in all the survivors and provided medicine to his girlfriend. Now know she's safe John vows to stop the aliens and get payback.

Can't wait to see where this campaign goes; I'm already imagining the awesome combos that your new bonded pair could do in the future: Sharpshooter uses Teamwork on Grenadier, Grenadier fires two grenades to destroy all of the enemy's cover, Sharpshooter uses Faceoff to mop up. Grenadier uses Salvo to fire grenade/heavy weapon, then uses Teamwork on Sharpshooter. Sharpshooter uses QuickDraw, Lightning Hands, Faceoff and Fan-Fire ALL IN ONE TURN. I'm going crazy just thinking about this one. I can't wait to sink my teeth into War of the Chosen myself. All the best Odd!

He ran as advent units came towards him to finish him off. He lost the units and ran down an alley and bumped into a greyed old man. The man gave Greg a piece of paper that read "vigilo confido". The rest they say... is history.

He doesn't know how it happened, but it gave him his nickname: Lucky.

CHARACTER: Ryder "The Shotgun" Lynn color scheme: bright, neon red and yellow/gold class: ranger gender: male nationality: china head: baseball cap, aiviator sunglasses, skull bandana, half-face burn scar bio: Before the war, Ryder "The Shotgun" Lynn was a feared member of one of the biggest triads in Hong Kong. He built his empire from the very bottom, blasting and bludgeoning his way to the top of Hong Kong's underworld to stand among it's most elite. And right there at his side, following him to the top, was his most trusted friend and compatriot. A man by the name of Shaojie Zhang. When the invasion started, everything went to hell. Contacts went dark, rackets were destroyed, abandoned, or just stopped turning profits, and safe houses were lost to looting, destruction, or refugees. While many decided to stick their heads in the sand, retreating to their personal safehouses far away from the chaos to wait out the war, a few entrepreneuring - or, perhaps, looking back, naive - ones like him stuck to their guns, and changed their business slightly to fit the new environment. Protection rackets were doubled down on, weapons were looted from past battles and sold back to those who once owned them, and then, a lucky break. A piece of alien tech, recovered completely undamaged, and clearly more advanced than anything the aliens usually carried around. Probably. It glowed brighter than the other things. He immediately put it up for sale to the highest bidder on the black market. and quite soon a buyer was found. With the streets impassable on anything other than foot and plane and as dangerous as the most violent of gang warzones, there was really no other man to make the delivery. A good luck and a farewell later, Zhang was off, and only after three increasingly angry phone calls from the buyer did Zhang's betrayal dawn on him. He did the best he could to try and hunt the man down, but every lead he followed lead to an impassable stone wall, one even his most compliant contacts still working with him refused to let him through. The writing was on the wall, whatever had happened to Zhang, or whatever he did, nothing he could do would affect him nor his actions that day. Soon thereafter, everything fell apart. ADVENT was formed, and declared any armed forces not under their direct control were criminals to be hunted down unless they willingly laid down their arms, be they military, criminal, police or civilian. For the most part, though, it didn't matter. It was the early days of the ADVENT Coalition and there was plenty of distrust and anger directed at the invaders. For a while there was a demand for weapons, and soon thereafter both supply and demand dwindled to nothing, and all his subordinates were no more, however it happened. The empire he spent over a decade building, dismantled within two and a half years. There had always been a quiet resistance, but when he ran out of weapons to sell and subordinates to lend, he made a decision. Removing his old shotgun and machete from their display cases for the first time in years, he decided he would destroy ADVENT in a year, or die trying. Imagine the surprise on the faces of the self-appointed leaders of the resistance when he walked through the door and offered his services.

You pick :D Bio: Born in Australia, Asher was only a young lad when the aliens first invaded. Much like a lot of the others around him, he submitted to them out of fear, eventually coming to accept that the aliens were better for humanity. Unlike the others however, Asher had the rare chance of seeing the process of what went on in the gene clinics. He refuses to talk about it, but has since then, vowed to fight ADVENT and their alien puppet masters, to restore Earth to what it once was.

Name: Udyr “Bear” Hylen Udyr was a member of the CIA that retired a few years before the Aliens arrived. He moved to northern Canada where he lived mostly in isolation, he value highly the contact with nature, a “medicine for body and soul”. When he went to the little town nearby to get winter supplies he heard about the Alien terror attacks that were happening across country. Without even going back to his cabin he enter a bus to the capital and a plane back to Texas. The plane was chased and shot down by a UFO, crashing somewhere. Udyr miraculously survive and he wandered the desert for days until he was rescue by a military convoy that was evacuating a nearby town. He arrived at his daughter house 27 days later, the house was empty.
Name: Josh "Drum Major" Cataract Nationality: American Bio: Josh was in his senior year in high school when the aliens attacked. His school was obliterated, along with his marching band, of which he was the drum major. He survived, but went missing. Twenty years later, the Reapers delivered a few recruits to XCOM. Josh was among them. Quirks: Has deep blue and bright green armor, and his poster poses are always "In Thought" or "Kneeling w/ rifle."

Biography: "Lmao dude I like killed an avatar with a repeater shot on overwatch before we had even engaged it" This was my best character (he was a sniper sharpshooter) in every campaign I've done. I really hope this gets CHOSEN. Get it.

Colour Scheme: Either Orange and Blue or Blue and White Bio: James has an extreme love for Irn Bru (Fizzy drink). Irn Bru is basically James' life. He drinks it everyday and only got a job so he could buy Irn Bru. Once Advent took over Irn Bru was outlawed because of it's high iron content. James didn't like this one bit so naturally, he joined X-com for grey market access to Irn Bru.

Edit: looks could be just lightly armoured. Red and Black possibly. I know my entry isnt that detailed and may need abit of fixxing but i wanna keep it short for you so you can have more soldiers faster.
You take so much time for meaningless decisions that it gets cringy. Making huge detours when you can safely rush the operation. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the preview, but you could cut the gameplay by half and make it double the fun. Regards!

I've been watching this over the past few weeks. Though I haven't yet completed it this is probably my favorite RUclips series of all time. Incredibly thoughtful, high level gameplay, with humor and characters you care for and want to see succeed. It's better than television! Klaus, Zhou, Bossman, Raijin - all awesome. Seriously, man, great work! I especially love it when everything goes haywire and the game just punishes you and yet you somehow succeed and come out ahead.

Biography: Angel was only a teen when the aliens first invaded. Greece fell easily due to the huge disadvantages that humans had. Besides that due to his rebelious attitude he kept fighting by sabotaging Advent transports and patrols. Due to his activities he was captured by advent and tortured to reveal his cooperatives. Thats when after 3 months XCOM arrived with a small group to save him and recruit him. On the way back, the heli that they were traveling was ambushed, in his attempt to save the xcom operatives, Angel had to fix the choppers engine from the outside, and although successful was shot and fell from the heli. Miraculously he survived although loosing his left arm in the process( not sure if there is a way to do that, if not just discard the missing arm and write badly injured.) From there he went under the radar, until recently when word came that XCOM is recruiting again.

Biography: George was born before the first invasion in a world that has long since been destroyed by the Elder. He was 12 when the first invasion occurred and was living in the British city of Manchester, unfortunately due to the aliens tendency to destroy city centers his hometown of Manchester was quickly destroyed by the foul alien machines.
He was saved from the same fate of most of Manchester by an XCOM mission that had been sent to locate and rescue survivors. The mission had been a complete failure, with all squad members killed but what it did achieve was a distraction, with most of the alien presence in the city focused on destroying the XCOM mission that allowed George to escape the Ill fated city.
The later years of George's life were spent working for the new Advent administration as he didn't see any reason why they should be overthrown, he couldn't remember much about his childhood but what he did remember was that the world wasn't all it was cracked up to be by dissident groups. His role within Advent was as a part of the scavenger corps who were dedicated to tracking down abandoned military bases and disabling any wepondary found within. It was through this job that he freed his mind from the Advent. For one of his assignments was to disable any wepondary found in an old XCOM base. It was in there that he accessed the information reveling what the aliens really were, what they intended to do with us. So he ran and eventually came across a haven of free humans, now he wishes to make amends with Humanity for his service to Advent by joining XCOM.

It has been said there is nothing that can be done to fix him but he still remembers all his training so they let him fight.

Strategy and combat tactics came easily to the brothers, who were able to practice their craft on dozens of unsuspecting Advent patrols. Their movements became bolder and even riskier as they looted supplies and intelligence from each fallen foe. One ambush in particular is what forced Michael's hand into joining XCOM. He never really cared what happened to the world after the invasion, it never really mattered. What mattered was his brother, and Michael would do anything to save him. Especially if it meant cleaving his way through any enemy who set foot in his path, even the Elders.

Sylva rushed to the sniper picking up the sniper's pistol and firing at the thin man and managed to graze the alien sending it scurrying away. Sylva tried to keep pressure on the sniper's wound. When the squad's medic was able to reach the sniper she was already dead. Sylva then left that day a scarred child vowing to see the aliens fall.
After the ADVENT coalition was founded Sylva would lose her parents due to them being collaberators in a fledgeling resistance. She was shipped off to an ADVENT reeducation camp although her mental scarring prevented much progress and she feigned loyalty to the ADVENT cause. After going through many foster homes she left the program and started seeking out the London resistance cell only to see it had been infiltrated and destroyed.
Sylva was disapointed in how the London cell operated letting anyone join at any time. She attempted to contact the reapers after finding evidence of their existance through working to create a new resistance cell in London. Then she was contacted by XCOM...

They lived there peacefully for twenty years until Advent started sending patrols into the mountains to weed out the many Resistance camps there. One of those patrols had found their hideout, so in order to buy time for his friends to escape, Jonathan single handedly held a narrow mountain pass against the entire patrol. His friends successfully managed to escape, but he was never able to rejoin them after the battle. He wandered the mountains for weeks until he stumbled upon a large Resistance camp. There, he learned that the XCom Project survived and was looking for new recruits. Given his story, it was pretty clear that he was more than capable. And so Jonathan join XCom, hoping that one day he'd see his friends again and see Advent fall.

Once the war ended the aliens wouldn't allow him to preform, so he joined xcom. Now Riggan has a chance to not play a superhero, but become one. Any class. He should look like the Birdman costume (Look up the movie Birdman for a good look), if thats not possible than if he looks like Michael Keaton than that also works. He was on the verge of giving up when the aliens found his safe house and burnt it down. Hey got everyone out but he was heart broken till the resistance found them all on a mission. They took in all the survivors and provided medicine to his girlfriend. Now know she's safe John vows to stop the aliens and get payback.

Sharpshooter uses Teamwork on Grenadier, Grenadier fires two grenades to destroy all of the enemy's cover, Sharpshooter uses Faceoff to mop up.
Grenadier uses Salvo to fire grenade/heavy weapon, then uses Teamwork on Sharpshooter. Sharpshooter uses QuickDraw, Lightning Hands, Faceoff and Fan-Fire ALL IN ONE TURN. I'm going crazy just thinking about this one.

As soon as his foot hit the floor he heard a beep. His Blue Eyes widened as he dove away from the door frame. A plume of fire erupted from the entire apartment block as he was thrown to the ground. Glasses cracked, crowned blond hair muddied, he watched as the shambles of his home were replaced by a sectoid statue waving around its *cough cough* unmentionables. He ran as advent units came towards him to finish him off. He lost the units and ran down an alley and bumped into a greyed old man. The man gave Greg a piece of paper that read "vigilo confido". The rest they say... is history.

Before the war, Ryder "The Shotgun" Lynn was a feared member of one of the biggest triads in Hong Kong. He built his empire from the very bottom, blasting and bludgeoning his way to the top of Hong Kong's underworld to stand among it's most elite. And right there at his side, following him to the top, was his most trusted friend and compatriot. A man by the name of Shaojie Zhang.
When the invasion started, everything went to hell. Contacts went dark, rackets were destroyed, abandoned, or just stopped turning profits, and safe houses were lost to looting, destruction, or refugees. While many decided to stick their heads in the sand, retreating to their personal safehouses far away from the chaos to wait out the war, a few entrepreneuring - or, perhaps, looking back, naive - ones like him stuck to their guns, and changed their business slightly to fit the new environment. Protection rackets were doubled down on, weapons were looted from past battles and sold back to those who once owned them, and then, a lucky break. A piece of alien tech, recovered completely undamaged, and clearly more advanced than anything the aliens usually carried around. Probably. It glowed brighter than the other things.
He immediately put it up for sale to the highest bidder on the black market. and quite soon a buyer was found. With the streets impassable on anything other than foot and plane and as dangerous as the most violent of gang warzones, there was really no other man to make the delivery. A good luck and a farewell later, Zhang was off, and only after three increasingly angry phone calls from the buyer did Zhang's betrayal dawn on him. He did the best he could to try and hunt the man down, but every lead he followed lead to an impassable stone wall, one even his most compliant contacts still working with him refused to let him through. The writing was on the wall, whatever had happened to Zhang, or whatever he did, nothing he could do would affect him nor his actions that day.
Soon thereafter, everything fell apart. ADVENT was formed, and declared any armed forces not under their direct control were criminals to be hunted down unless they willingly laid down their arms, be they military, criminal, police or civilian. For the most part, though, it didn't matter. It was the early days of the ADVENT Coalition and there was plenty of distrust and anger directed at the invaders. For a while there was a demand for weapons, and soon thereafter both supply and demand dwindled to nothing, and all his subordinates were no more, however it happened. The empire he spent over a decade building, dismantled within two and a half years.
There had always been a quiet resistance, but when he ran out of weapons to sell and subordinates to lend, he made a decision. Removing his old shotgun and machete from their display cases for the first time in years, he decided he would destroy ADVENT in a year, or die trying. Imagine the surprise on the faces of the self-appointed leaders of the resistance when he walked through the door and offered his services.
i hope you have that mod that lets you make an absurdly long character bio, or maybe you can just edit an .ini file to get the desired result.

Born in Australia, Asher was only a young lad when the aliens first invaded. Much like a lot of the others around him, he submitted to them out of fear, eventually coming to accept that the aliens were better for humanity. Unlike the others however, Asher had the rare chance of seeing the process of what went on in the gene clinics. He refuses to talk about it, but has since then, vowed to fight ADVENT and their alien puppet masters, to restore Earth to what it once was.

Udyr was a member of the CIA that retired a few years before the Aliens arrived. He moved to northern Canada where he lived mostly in isolation, he value highly the contact with nature, a “medicine for body and soul”. When he went to the little town nearby to get winter supplies he heard about the Alien terror attacks that were happening across country. Without even going back to his cabin he enter a bus to the capital and a plane back to Texas. The plane was chased and shot down by a UFO, crashing somewhere. Udyr miraculously survive and he wandered the desert for days until he was rescue by a military convoy that was evacuating a nearby town. He arrived at his daughter house 27 days later, the house was empty.

Bio: Was afound amounst the lost. Trapped, but odly protected... Once captured by Xcom program he is investigated why the lost were so protective over him but all Jacob could say was 'I was the next one' Xcom sees Jacob as a possible asset whether its man power or his knowledge of the lost.
Edit: looks could be just lightly armoured. Red and Black possibly.

You take so much time for meaningless decisions that it gets cringy. Making huge detours when you can safely rush the operation. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the preview, but you could cut the gameplay by half and make it double the fun. Regards!
