In New York, the State Police is very vague on what type of stock legal. A few year back , Thordsen stopped selling their products because of a NY gun manufacturer telling customers that the NYSP firearm unit stopped by and told them the only legal AR is the fixed model. All the AR featureless platform was illegal. That forced many gun shops to stop selling the featureless AR for that time. As everyone was waiting for an answer from the State Police, nothing happened and all the gun shops returned to selling their AR platform featureless again. The Coolest AR stock is from Germany CQR. It has the ability to remove the aluminum plate for use in free states.

My favorite featureless grip is the Featureless Arms Liberal grip comboed with a Sparrow Dynamics Safety Selector AMBI LS(I run then ordered an additional long lever to have the same size selector lever on both sides) this allows you to work the safety while maintaining a firing grip(with your index finger) And if you travel out of state for and wish to switch to a standard pistol grip and unlock your stock, you can use your thumb to work the safety.
